"I'd rather take comfort knowing the human population is rising rather than falling." James said, giving Naro a dull stare. "I don't know what the Chairmen was thinking allowing her on the field."

"Besides, I've never needed her medical attention, or any attention."  

[Zahzi]

"...It seems you have quite a bit to learn, James." Naro said with a smirk.
"If you assume you'll never need attention, your own your way to needing it soon."

Naro then looked around.
"...Are there any others in this squad..?"

"Everyone ended up in the hospital except for us with minor injuries." Soqed said with a nervous laugh.

"Yeah.. Soqed there should be been dead but Jacob shoved her out of the way last minute."

"...He's the one who's hanging between life and death too..."  

[Zahzi]

"Ah yes, because of James' wonderful explosion...By the way, James, could you look over there for a moment..?" Naro asked, pointing at one of the ruined buildings.

"Why..?" James asked, raising an eyebrow at Naro as he slowly turned his head toward the ruined building. "...What am I suppose to be seeing?"  

[Zahzi]

The sound of a fist in a metallic glove clenching was probably the last thing James heard before it was slammed against the back of his head. Hard. In order to keep him from falling, the same hand grabbed the back of his armor.
"And now the embers of his idiocy is forgiven..."

"...You probably just killed him with blunt force trauma..." Soqed said, blinking at them as she just gave Naro a stare.  

[Zahzi]

"Oh, he's fine...I held back quite a bit..." Naro said, looking down at James. He then looked over at Soqed.
"And be honest, you wanted to do the same." he added with a smirk.

"...I won't I did, but I won't say I didn't." Soqed said, shifting her eyes.  

[Zahzi]

"...Riiiiiight..."

"Just avoiding trouble with Hoffman." Soqed said with a smirk as she started walling away, back towards the more populated area of the city: the center of town.  

[Zahzi]

"Yeah...We'll just say a brick hit him or something..." Naro said, following her while dragging James with him.

"...A Stranded thought he was a Locust..?"

"Sir, not even I could buy that excuse." Soqed said, giving him a a dull glare.
