The great plains

Lilyth continued running as fast as possible but tripped several times and didn't escape the blast. She fell down and rolled onto her back in the darkness but was soon pelted with the little walnuts. The small woman then sat up and grabbed the lighter from her neck and lit it hoping to see something, nothing. She then sighed and stood up, "Hey were is everyone?" the small woman yelled hoping to get an answer and a way out of this, she was now bruised and sore and did not like it one bit. "I hate walnuts now, man and they used to be my favorite nut." Lilyth mumbled quietly while waiting for an answer to her call.  

[Hoarfrost Dirge]

"Annoying but I guess it works in its own strange way." Tysulir said as he wrapped a large current of water around him moving fast enough to block the incoming debris and such. Ignoring the voice he heard from a distance he darted to the owner of this creature, Itazuki. Using air magic to hasten his steps and keeping the thick current whipping around him he cot close to his target. "I have to get going, would love to play more some other time though. Anyway here you go." He said dropping the water control and producing a white envelope that was sealed and had a red ribbon that tied it shut. "Take this and follow the instructions if your interested." This letter contained two sheets of paper. One was a general invitation to join The Rebele. the other was a map leading to the location of the hide out. On the bottom of both sheets was a mark infused with wind magic. Once the letter and location were seen by the owner of it then the paper would shred itself on the air. "Well see ya." Tysulir said before speeding off.

Itazuki took the note and read it quickly it suddenly burst into shreds of paper. "Ok that was weird!" Itazuki said quite loudly, he had a odd expression on his face. The soft snores of the walnuts seized. There little eyes were black as their souls and they all stared at Itazuki. Itazuki took a step back and almost crushed one. He had to be precise in his movement. One wrong step and he would get more trouble. Itazuki started to tremble from fear. This feeling had never been felt by him. But all the black eyes staring him drove him strait into fear. The children of the walnut scooted very slowly, slower than a slug but they made subtle progress.

Then absolute silence was a amidst every one but this would end soon. A walnut opened its mouth then another until all had their little mouths gaping. They all said one heard, every single one had a high pitch voice that was insane in how high the tone was. A single word could be heard for miles. They all screamed. "b***h!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Making their point very clear. Itazuki started to shake and then fall over just cause of the noise, he passed out.

Ryuukio walked along his normal path along the plains. Today he was going to rest up for a bit since he had long days of work ahead of him, contracts to sign and of course people to kill. Just the everday life of me i guess. Ryuukio stopped for a second because he thought he heard something in the distance. He chose to ignore it and kept walking along to go to his favorite spot.

Somewhere, on some other day, in a far off portion of the Plains...
It was unusually dark for the day. The sun was covered by a dark cloud, and thought it wasn't raining, thunder could be heard as the evening slowly came upon the land. As the sky burned red, there was a single flash of lightning, though it flashed black, not light, though there was no menace in it, it simply existed. On the ground where it had had strcuk, there lay a dark puddle. If once could find the propper words to describe it, they would say it resembled a liquid shadow, and indeed, that's what it was. For now. Slowly though, as the sky darkened, it grew and expanded, and then, as a full moon lit the sky, the puddle rose of the ground and stretched, untill it became a man, or rather, a Vampire Lord. His crimson eyes looked forward, and he smiled as he materialized and looked upwards into the sky. "Ah...night time....What a wonderfull night to be dead~" he said to himseld cheerfully, as he strolled accross the empty land, searching for a place to make his new home.

It was mid afternoon, and Naru was just awakening. Normally no vampire could survivein this light, but being older had it's privelages. Naru had lived long enough to build up resistance to the sun to an extent, and coyld handle the mid-afternoon light. The fact that the shadows healed him when blood was not available also helped, as it slowly regenerated any damage the sun did do to him on occasion. As he looked around, he saw something great in the distance, what appeared to be a large city.
"Well, this might be fun....I still don't know what it is that summoned me here, but if I want to find out, I'll need to find someone to ask. I havn't met anyone here yet, but that...that place....It must have people in it..." he said to himself, as he quickly muttered a few words under his breath and two wings materialzed out of the darkness on the ground. "Ah....the power of flight, at my will. I love my powers~" he laughed again, and took off, heading for the city.

A calm breathing was made by Itazuki. His eyes fluttered as a swarm of baby walnuts flew around him. They made a constant swooshing sound, which was the cause of his awakening. He lifted his upper body, taking in the sight around him. He place a hand on the ground, water started to pour out his palm then formed a barrier just his size. The water moved rapidly around him and started to make a vortex, then spikes shot out from every direction sending the walnuts to their doom. People had gathered quickly, but there was no sight of fate, the walnut who cause all of this. Itazuki bounced up then ran for the great city that looked like emerald city.

The long overwhelming hills of the Great Plains seemed to span beyond the never ending horizon. The tall sweet grass blew back forth as a wind came running up then stopping then running up. A man walked, head high looking at the blue sky with specks of white cloud painting the sky. But then the grass around his feet seemed to have an invisible thing leading behind and eating away at ever thing. A strand of grass, tall in stature started to turn black then black dust formed in its place. It was like a maddening darkness was huddled deep inside him, that ate away at any thing good but this was not the case. A black decrepit thing poked out from in between his neck and shoulder. It was his sword hatched and strapped tightly to his body. The black purple blade of dark matter was the cause of all this anguish, but with all the death it brought it was his only true friend. He could feel its powers ceasing, then quiver then come back tenfold, causing him to slouch from the bothersome weight. The blade slowly started to pulsate, Itazuki fell forward from the extreme weight of it, and he grabbed the blade and flung the six foot blade forward.

The sword spun in the air for a time then plunged deep in the sod which flung up then crumbled to nothing. A black aura surrounded the blade, shielding a bit, Itazuki reach to touch the barrier but then he jumped back and felt a pain in his fingers. It was like the sword had rejected him. Then the shield of darkness consumed the entire blade.

Alex walked through the great plains, following the horrible trail of death that always seemed to follow Itazuki. Shaking his head in sorrow at the wasted lives of the blackened plants, he stopped and watched as Itazuki threw his blade and threw it far from him, where it made a barrier that killed all the plant life around it. WHen the barrier wouldn't even let Itazuki touch it, Alex felt a familiar shake from Kozuchi Ozuchi. That dark blade was acting up again, and Kozuchi Ozuchi was ready to stop it if it got out of hand. Alex walked up beside Itazuki and said "Man, your blade is freaking out. Making my weapon freak out as well. You want me to silence it for a while?" Alex stared at the blade as the barrier closed around the blade entirely.

Itazuki heard a voice vibrate in the back of his skull, rattling in the cage. He seemed to ignore it till it drew the line when it talked about the blade. He stood up and had his back turned on the blade. A sizzling trail of dark matter swayed back and forth going high in the sky. Itazuki’s face knotted to a tight fixation of anger and arousal from startling actions of his beloved sword. He drove his hands through the air and slammed them on Alex’s shoulders. “Don’t touch my sword…or I will kill you.” It was like the sword’s mind was spewing out of Itazuki mouth. It had driven him mad, how long Alex had been talking about his sword frightening his hammer. But as he felt some thing consuming his mind, he turned away quickly feeling his hands starting to burn from the dark matter that had touched him. “Why is this happening…?” His voice eerie like it was foreshadowing what was about to happen.

Then it did, a black hand of condensed dark matter grew out from the dome, a bloodshot eye was in the center of the palm and it shot out and grabbed Itazuki and reeled him in like a fish. Touching the barrier would not be an option, rescue could not be made, just waiting and watching as the dramatic even play out.

Alex was shocked when Itazuki suddenly turned on him and violently told him to not touch the sword. There was a slight undertone to his voice that made Kozuchi Ozuchi send out a feeling of rage. Alex realized that the reason for this was that the very blade was posessing Itazuki. The blade suddenly grew and eye and hand, which it used to grab Itazuki. Alex supressed a shudder of fear as he realized what was going on. The blade's evil influence was growing stronger, and it was now growing a conciousness the likes of which Alex had never seen.

Alex breathed in deeply when he realized that he would have to fight Itazuki once more. It would seem that Alex would not only be fighting for his own life, but for Itazuki's life as well

Feeling a bundle of excruciating hate and pain, Itazuki yelled out. “Yeah!!!!!!” His voice dark and full of insane happiness. The small dome of dark matter cleared away with it fanning out spreading across the land. Itazuki stood there hunched over a bit, looking at Alex. Every thing was normal about him, his wore torn attire, his beautiful hair, ever thing was normal except a dark wiggling thing of blackness was wrapped around his arm, slithering and burning the air. The red bulging eye moved around like it was angry then it focused its gaze on Alex. He stuck out his arm; dark matter spiraled around him and then shot directly into the thing of black flame. It suddenly contorted and raped his arm, till suddenly a black blade of a katana wormed out then was held by his hand, the black flame blew over and covered the katana like an aura. “Do you feel it?” Itazuki said, the air getting thick with decay.

The new overwhelming stench of power spanned across the plains as he waved the sword around getting a more in depth feel for its greatness. Itazuki walked forward, hatred echoed off of each step, and then with a sudden burst of speed, he lunged forward. His speed had always been fast but never did he go to a full sprint of what he was capable of. As he reached Alex, he slashed at his head, the blade curdled a bit from the pure excitement, a then a white beam that was the length of the blade shot down at Alex, as Itazuki made the final arch of his attack. Then as he spun to make his attack look nicer, he jabbed his blade several times backwards then with the end he lunged forward away from Alex and slashed but this slash was differently completely.

The air where the blade had cut through had such a focus of dark matter, air thinly spread out began to tear a part and open like a mouth, with teeth but it had now mouth and when Itazuki looked through the tear in space there was nothing on the other side but a huge group of dark and nothing, he went through, but nothing came out the other end. His voice then returned, not from in front, not from behind but from above. “What you think about that.” Itazuki said while falling down then hopping back a feet away from Alex.

Alex had seen many evil and dark things over his lifetime, but this was new. The darkness that had seemingly consumed Itazuki had in fact been an evolution of his blade, and the dark matter that flowed forth seemed to want to crush and devour Alex. Itazuki ran up and stabbed at Alex's head, releasing another white jet of badness trom the blade. Alex used a wind vortex to increase his reaction time, spinning around the blade to the other side of Itazuki. The sword's jet obliterated the ground that Alex had just vacated, and a further stroke of the sword cut through space itself. Itazuki entered the cut, and vanished from sight. He reappeared above Alex, and he hopped away from Alex, just avoiding a blow from Kozuchi Ozuchi. Alex breathed in deeply, and released a powerful jet of air straight at Itazuki. If it connected, it would at least knock Itazuki off his feet and crack a few ribs.

Viper Could feel something amiss on these plains. She gripped onto her sword tighter. She wasnt sure if being here was a good idea. She let her eyes slit and about a league away she found two of the deadliest assassins going at it. She gritted her teeth... one of them was Itazuki... She stopped Orochi. " Not good" She whispered. She could not tell who the other assassin was by the look of her energy levels... Was he new, or just not as well known as Itazuki. She let her eyes return the regular appearance they always seemed to hold and turned to Orochi, unsure of what to do

Itazuki smiled faintly, the vacuum of wind could not stand a chance against Itazuki’s new blade. “Ha…You think that can stop me.” He said proudly flaunting his blade when he slashed forward. The air started to immediately turn hot with dark matter then open up slowly, the width and length of Itazuki. The powerful gust would be a deadly attack on Itazuki but now it could be compared to dust. As the funnel of wind shot straight for Itazuki it crammed deep inside the split in space gave the wind a place to go, then Itazuki charged forward through the other end was deep in some other place, none existent it was but he could go there. Where should he attack, any damn place he wanted, that’s for sure.

Another tear seemly opened behind Alex, it was subtle except when a black strand of dark matter grew out and clawed the space around it, and then another formed and strangled the air. If a person was to look through the cut that was void of any light, they would see nothing except the lies and corruption of their own life. A startling sound of deep vibrations echoed out of the immensely open scar in the air. A little black drop of substance fell from the Scar and burned the ground, causing dark steam to rise. Then a beam three times the size of Alex. It bolted out of the scar and lit the plains, any thing ten feet of it would be invisible but temporarily, they would seem themselves but any one out of the ten foot radius would not see them. Getting hit by this attack would result in instance death. A laugh stretched along the plains, then Itazuki moved out from the scar after his attack.
