"You are my princess. I am your servant. If it's to protect you then I will even become evil."


Len looked at the man, sighing in response to the slur. Of course no one knew who he was, and he didn't care. "I suppose you may." he wanted to question things further but held back from doing so. Consequences, if it wasn't the princesses direct order. He opened the door wider, gesturing the elegant man to come in.

Rin rested her head on her fist and sighed."Hopefully its not a death threat.."Rin thought in her mind.

Gakupo looked down at the dainty princess. Strange... he thought with a perplexed look, I expected her to be much older. "I was ordered to come here by my father," he lied with a straight face. The to-be king had no clue that his ego would be chopped in half in a matter of months.

Rin raised an eyebrow."Oh really..?"Rin sighed."I read in the news that your father is dead." She said as she got up from her thrown.She bowed before speaking."Pleasure to meet you."

"Even if the world becomes your enemy, I will protect you."

Gakupo smirked a bit again. "Tis a pleasure to meet you, my clever lady." He strolled lazily to the window and looked out. "I notice that there is a bit of... Poverty in your country," he muttered, not meaning to offend.

Rin crossed her arms when she heard the prince speak of "Poverty"in her country.But she just ignored it and walked over to the prince."So...I've always wondered this..what is your name?"Rin asked in a low voice.

"Even if the world becomes your enemy, I will protect you."

Len simply stood on the side and watched, listening carefully to them. He wasn't planning to get out of the room, unless his princess ordered him to.

Gakupo glanced over at Rin. "I never meant to offend, my dear," he purred, "The only reason I bring it up is that I may have a solution." He then smiled at her again. "My name is Gakupo. Gakupo Kamui."

Rin looked over at Gakupo."Really..a solution to poverty..?"Rin smiled."Gakupo Kamui is a lovely name..may I call you Gakupo?"Rin asked.She turned facing the window again."Len,dear,may you get us a cup of tea?"She asked.

Gakupo knelt at Rin's feet. "Of course, milady," he muttered with a smirk, kissing her hand. Of course you may call me 'Gakupo'." He then stood up tall, looking down at Rin with a gentle smile. "I have a solution, indeed."

Rin smiled."Well then,Gakupo what is your solution?"Rin asked with a smile still on her face.

"Even if the world becomes your enemy, I will protect you."

Len held back a sigh and nodded. "Of course my princess," he complied and walked to the door. He raised a blonde eyebrow. Really, a solution to poverty? But what in the world could he want in return? He shook the thoughts out of his head and went to go get their tea.

"Well," Gakupo started with a sheepish grin, "My country is diversely wealthy. Once again, I mean not to offend, milady. However, if there were a..." he stopped. She seems smart... TOO smart... She may not agree... he thought, but them continued. "If there were a marriage, then our countries would share wealth."

Rins smile turned into a frown."I see where this is going.."She said quietly."You want to marry me...?"Rin raised an eyebrow.

"Even if the world becomes your enemy, I will protect you."

Gakupo chuckled for a moment. "My dear, we just met. I'm not that shameless," he assured her, "Merely a loveless marriage to help our countries. No harm done."
