SHoku covers her entire entrance of her tunnel with thorny bushes forcing clay into the inside of the cave walls so she can detonate it at any time. NO ONE ENTERS EXCEPT FOR SHOKU@

Out from the ground came a young girl and she appeared behind SHoku and placed her hands over her eye and whispered. "Guess who Shokuy?" She said hoping the usual nickname would get her attention.

A little angry and just in a weird mood Shoku takes inventory of all her stuff happy she retrieved everything and nothing of too much importance was taken. She gets her earth scroll and begins reading it. [1/4]

Practicing the handsigns for the jutsu Shoku thinks she can get this one rather quickly it is very similar to the pebble throw...just bigger. [2/4]

Trying the jutsu on a nearby rock in the cave Shoku is only able to lift it and not able to actually throw the boulder. [3/4]

Getting angry and using it to her advantage Shoku throws the boulder across the room easily completeling this jutsu.

Learnt:
Maruishi Tounyuu (Boulder throw)
Description: This technique focuses chakra on a single large boulder found in the vicinity and sends it flying towards an enemy. The impact is of course greater since it’s a big rock, and yet, being a big rock, it’s easier to dodge. Also, only one rock can be thrown at time. However if the user is good at chakra control, (those with tree and water walking mastered) this can be done in quick rapid succession (a few rocks sent consecutively, about 5). Can also be used on variations such as concrete rubble.

Getting angry again and knowing the possibilities of Earth manipulation Shoku runs up to the boulder and punches it really getting messy and getting in the earth user mood.

She tries pulling at the rock and forming something out of it she can form shuriken but that is not quite big enough. She continues to try to pull a larger weapon out of the rock.

Trying her hardest Shoku pulls out a Earthen katana and swings it around knocking it into a rock breaking the sword.

She tries once more pulling a katana out of the earth this time when she does she swings it around and it feels much more natural, knocking it against a rock acouple more times before it breaks away.

Doton: Katana no Jutsu (Earth Release: Earth Element Sword)
Description: Similarly to Doton Shuriken, the user picks up dirt and/or earth, molds chakra into the dirt/earth, and forms a sword. It isn’t as sharp or powerful as a real sword, and is destroyed after a few hits.

"Is that?" Shoku turns quickly she is all beat up from training and turns a bright red. "KASUMI?!!!" She yells out in a happy tone lunging over and giving Kasumi a huge hug. Almost in tears Shoku laughs she has so much she wants to talk to Kasumi about.

Kasumi hugged her back tight and held her close. "Hey Shokuy." She said closing her eyes and just enjoying her hug, she had missed Shoku so much.

Enjoying the hug for the longest possible time Shoku nestles herself in Kasumi's embrace. "How come you always show up at just the right time?" Shoku smiles and kisses Kasumi's cheek. Then leans back and looks Kasumi in the eyes not knowing exactly what to say.

Kasumi laughed some and spread her wings. "Guardian Angel?" She said in a cute little voice followed by a giggle. "or maybe I'm just lucky like that." Kasumi said and hugged her again once more and leaned back. "So ShoSho what's up?" She asked since she did say she came at the right time.

Shoku giggles and makes a couple handsigns disappearing into the ground and reappearing in her room to change out of her beaten, worn, scratched tattered and terrible look clothes. Changing quickly Shoku Calls to Kasumi "Sorry I had to go inside my clothes were embarresing me!"

"Is that a change from usual?" Kasumi joked and appeared in where Shoku was. "Ooo so this your room, pretty." She said amazed some, she hadn't been in her room in years.

"yaaa i collected some funny art from across the world." Shoku smiles looking around her room of random stuff that somehow goes well with each other. A mess of colors her and patterns there just randomness everywhere. Shoku laughs and walks out of her room sliding down the spiral staircases railing on her butt and going to the kitchen to make some food. Making a quick meal Shoku needs a little nutriotion after training.

Kasumi appeared in the kitchen and sat on the counter looking at Shoku. "So...you have grown up I see." Kasumi said since now Shoku looked like an adult where Kasumi was still her 14 year oldself. "Anytime I get close to your age you jump me, no fair no fair." She said with a pout.

ATTENTION:

The following is training of Shoku's that is why i double posted a lot sorry for the clustered look. But I also wanted to do construction on my cave so i added it to my training and it worked well. I will make a map soon to show the full extent of my cave It will be posted on the 1st page title topic.

"Hmm I guess your right. That sure is strange." Shoku looks at Kasumi thinking she would of aged exactly the same as Shoku since she has been gone for so long. "Well I did miss you, there are some dark far away lands which make you question the very essence of life. Remembering people like you helped me get through it all." Shoku smiles looking down a bit embarrassed by what she said. Probably was pretty corny as well. She moves her bangs out of he eyes and reads from a cookbook and a jutsu learning scroll at the same time. In attempts to cook dinner and learn a jutsu or two while doing so.

Shoku find a jutsu that will help her out tremendously in the kitchen. She makes the handsigns for it and focuses her chakra just to practice the movements for the jtusu.

Next she actually goes about making the clone. She makes the handsigns and all that and makes a simple earth clone, which is not at all what shoku wanted.

She tries again and this time nails it focusing for a little longer so that the magma could have time to form into the clone Shoku touches the clones and it is hot to the touch.

Doton: Karyoku Bunshin no Jutsu (Earth Release: Volcanic Earth Clone Skill)
Description: This jutsu creates one single clone out of the ground. Its defense is incredible, and it's very powerful, but lacks speed. The difference from the normal clone is that this one comes from heated earth, making it's skin almost volcanic and painful to touch. The bunshin can use one Doton jutsu.

Chopping up some veges and other produce, meats and all that good nonsense Shoku throws all the ingredients in a pan the clone touches the pan and it gets instantly hot from its magma intereior. Helping to speed the cooking process tremendously. She has a little down time from the cooking to practice another jutsu so she again again reads through her earthen scroll.

Finding a good jutsu Shoku practices all the handsigns and movement of chakra needed for this technique.

Focusing her chakra Shoku makes the handsigns and stomps her foot on the ground and all around her a field of earthen spikes pops up. This is all Shoku can do at the moment though

She tries to stomp her foot and upon doing so the nearest earth spike shoots out of the ground in the form of a long spear. Shoku catches it and smiles.


Doton: Ishi no Yari (Earth Release: Stone Spear)
Description: By using chakra to basically control the earth below and around them, the user turns it into sharp spears. This jutsu can be used both offensively and defensively. The user can either create a spear to block an opponent's movement, or they can hurl the spear at their opponent using chakra. The drawback here is, unless chakra is used, the spears cannot be pulled out of the ground manually; they are always set in place.

After the Dinner that Shoku cooked for both herself and Kasumi and after their meal. The two just hang out and relax together until Kasumi falls asleep and Shoku gets up ever ready to learn some new jutsu.

Reading through the scroll Shoku knows this one will be useful. Since the grass version is equally as useful as well.

Making the handsigns for the jutsu all Shoku needs to do is practice before actually trying since she knows this jutsu will be rather easy to complete.

Shoku is ready. She makes the handsigns and sinks into the earth then upon thinking of a place she wants to go she jumps there through the earth appearing out of the ground in the far away fields of the grass village Shoku smiles then does the jutsu again to return to her cave.

Iwagakure: Shunshin no Jutsu (Hidden Earth: Instantaneous Body Skill)
Description: An ability which allows the user to transport from one area to another by lowering his body to the ground and eventually become "buried" in it. The user has to have been to the area before, and be able to sense the location with his own chakra before being able to transport him there. This means that the distance is limited to about one mile. This jutsu can only be used to escape combat, and only if the shinobi has not been attacked or is defending


A little tired from all the jutsu learning Shoku is not one to quit. She will make sure her body is bruised, cut and beaten by the end of her training.

Reading through the scroll Shoku sees a fun little jutsu that she should probably try outside of the cave. Walking outside the cave Shoku continuely practices the handsigns needed for learning hte jutsu.

Having the handsigns down Shoku forces her chakra into the ground which is not the correct way of performing this jutsu. It causes a minor shaking as if a small very small earth quake has just occurred.

Trying again Shoku makes the handsigns for the jutsu and lets her chakra flow into the earth and whip back creating a forceful earthquake in the area so much so that waves of earth can be seen flowing out from Shoku's spot.


Doton: Rikujou Shougekiha no jutsu (Earth Release: Ground shockwave technique)
Description: This technique unleashes larger amounts of chakra into the ground to cause a more violent shaking to be sent in the form of a shockwave towards an opponent. The force of the shockwave is enough to knock a few opponents down and send them flying. However, due to the wave movements seen on the ground, most shinobis can dodge this by simply jumping up. Yet, it is still a useful technique to alter landscapes, or knock down objects even.

Shoku is already breathing hard. This training is really doing her some good she hasn't trained like this in a long time. Her recent past is filled with tales of the sword. Shoku having traveled far away and challenged many a school of weapon mastery and been challenged by many a school of weapon mastery. Her body scarred from her battles and constantly being cut by various blades. Now she strives again to learn the way of a ninja in order to be able to hold ground in this land.

Reading over her earth scroll Shoku decides she would like to step it up a bit and learn a seriously difficult and useful Jutsu. Walking down to the deepest part of her cave where it is still natural behind her house (Shoku has a small dome backyard behind her house with gardens of mushrooms and potatoes and onions. Using a lighting system in the earth through the use of tunnels and mirrors where needed.) In this spot behind her backyard the cave is how it was before she made it into her home.

Shoku walks a bit of the way down the tunnel it gets kind of narrow so she widens it through basic earth manipulation. She has an idea for this back hall that can be used later. Find a tiny room has naturally opened up in front of her Shoku performs the handsigns for the jutsu and places her hands on the ground focusing her chakra into it.

This Jutsu takes a while to actually kick in for Shoku but eventually the earth quivers a bit and a rather large chasm is created in Shokus cave which naturally unleashes many waterfalls inside the cave making a new natural river way.

Doton: Wareme Souzou (Earth Release: Chasm Creation)
Description: When this jutsu is performed the stone-nin places his/her hands on the ground and focuses chakra into the earth. From the power of the chakra flowing into it, the earth splits apart and a chasm is created. The longer that the shinobi focuses chakra into the earth, the wider and deeper the chasm becomes. At first it is 10 feet deep and 3 feet wide, then it is 20 feet deep and 6 feet wide, and it continues increases by a depth of 10 and a width of 3 as long as it is continued. This is very useful when creating a protective barrier for someone else.

After having made a giant Chasm with a huge lake and waterfalls and center island Shoku realizes that a second home is about to be constructed...more like a shelter for defending, or just sparring and playing war games. So she performs the Earth camp technique and creates a small little shelter of a home ontop the island.

Having already read the Scroll and knowing exactly which jutsu she wants to practice Shoku performs the handsigns and slams her hands into the ground but nothing happened. Perhaps she got a little to excited by her natural creation.

Shoku picks up a rock and focuses her chakra into it throwing it at the ground in front of her a sizeable wall is created. Shoku smiles and does this to every side of the island creating a nice little fortress. When she learns more techniques she will certainly add to this place.

Doton: Iwane Wooru (Earth Release: Rock Wall)
Description: Starts out exactly like Iwane Banpu, by performing the same hand seals, and grabbing a rock, but it is a much bigger rock. Much more chakra is added to this rock, and whenever it hits, a large, rectangular prism-shaped object rises up out of the ground. This time, it is concentrated as a height, and is approximately three feet in width and six feet in height, stopping the enemy completely. Very useful in bad situations where a good defense is needed. A very sturdy wall that cannot be removed from the ground, almost like a wall of a building, made of stone. For every rank, another foot in width and 3 feet in height is added to the wall.

Shoku is worried about the durability of the island even with a retaining wall she is afraid of flooding. Reading over the jutsu scroll, Shoku smiles and sees the perfect Jutsu for her:

Sekkai Saka (Rock Hill Creation)
Description: A large hill made of rock is created. The slope is very steep and made of slippery shale rock. It is useful as a defensible platform to perform other techniques from. For every rank, the hill goes up 15 feet.


Practicing the handsigns for the jutsu Shoku walks to the center of the island.

Finally ready Shoku does the handsigns and grips the earth pulling up a 15ft hill is created. This is not enough though and Shoku knows she can do much much better. Breathing hard from all her training she does need a break soon, but the adreneline inside her is keeping Shoku unaware of her bodily limitations. She literally pushes herself to the limit when training always just depleting her in the end.

Shoku makes the handsigns again and grips the earth once again pulling up this time a 30ft hill with sheer rock sides is created ontop of the already 15ft high hill now giving Shoku a nice 45ft high hill on her island. Smiling Shoku sits down and pulls out a bag on her hip, She had packed some food from earlier and begins eating it and drinking some water to take a small break from training While on this break Shoku reads about another interesting Earth jutsu:

Doton: Iwa no Doomu (Earth Release: Earth dome)
Description: An elaboration of Doton Doryu Heki (Earth Element Mud Slide Barrier), this jutsu retains its predecessor's characteristics and more. Instead of forming a single, straight wall which can protect the user from only one angle, this jutsu enables the user to create a wall not just all around him, but from above him as well. If the technique is successful, the user should be inside a thick dome of stone which is quite difficult to destroy. The disadvantages are obvious- one cannot see outside the dome, and an opponent would have time to prepare an attack the user won't be aware of. Furthermore, holding the dome together requires a great deal of chakra, and the jutsu can only be active for a few minutes, and after that it will simply crash


"More of a fighting only Jutsu." She rolls her eyes and stands up practicing the handsigns this jutsu seems easy compared to the ones she has been learning.

Shoku practicing the handsigns and suddenly a rock dome appears over head and all around her darkening the space within. Shoku meditate in this position for a long time holding the dome as long as she possibly can.

Perhaps having someone around to test the earth domes strength would be nice. Shoku creates a couple clones while in the dome and they all throw shuriken and katana and knives and everything they can muster in terms of weapons at the dome but nothing would pierce it.

Shoku can't hold the dome any longer and wears out letting it crash into dust and small rocks around her. Breathing heavily again she sits down and looks around this place she has created loving it very very much.

Sitting atop her hill on her island Shoku is very happy with what she has done with this place and only wants to add on to it more as she trains more.Shoku laughs at this jutsu it so fits her style but is no good for creation:

Doton: Bakuyaku Iwa Kawarimi (Earth Release: Explosive Stone Body Replacement)
Description: This jutsu replaces the body with a large stone or even a boulder, using Kawarimi no Jutsu. There is a rather dangerous difference though, the boulder that replaces the stone-nin’s body is explosive and if struck explodes with the force of an explosive note.

Shoku first makes a clone to fight her to test this Jutsu. She practices the regular replacement technique a bunch of times with rocks just to make sure she is ready. This time she must add explosive capabilities to the rock which should be easy for Shoku.

She performs the replacement technique upon being hit by her clone and she is replaced by a small rock which explodes in the clones face making the clone explode into water.

Shoku is on a roll with explosives and reads through the last chuunin level earth jutsu she needs to learn:

Doton Bakudan (Earth Release Bomb)
Description: By shifting the earth around and moving deep chemicals up to the outer layer of earth the user will be able to explode the earth out of the most simplest compounds.

Shoku laughs as she already knows how to do this with clay, so Doing this with chemicals should be easy.

Performing the handsigns Shoku concentrates and within a couple minutes a bunch of nasty chemicals rise to the surface of Shokus cave then explode creating a small flood on her island before Shoku can re direct the water and create another earth wall to replace the one that blew up.
