Yey. Gen 5. I think I once read somewhere that Nintendo had copyrights to use Pokemon Topaz as a version, but I think that was mentioned before HG/SS was officially released, so it may be speculation.

New things I wanna see:

Elec/Grass - Ice - Rock - Dark - Fight.

A Grass/Fight other than Breloom

Really, any new Grass with decently good stat bases while looking cool.

More Ghost types. Preferably leaning towards offense like Gengar, and not tanking like Dusknoir.

And a Flying type that doesn't bite. Staraptor almost makes the cut, but so far the only 'real' Flying type that excels is Togekiss. (Real meaning actual avian based creatures discounting legendaries. Otherwise I'd include Gyarados and Zapdos)

Skarmory disagrees.

Also I want a dragon that ISN'T double weak to ice crying seriously it's so ******** gay

Oh right, forgot him. He's good for tankage.

It's one of Nintendo's little 'rules'. Anything with the Dragon type bar legendaries except Rayquaza have to have a 4x weakness to something because without an exploitable super weakness, the type would be overpowered. Like Psychic types in Gen 1. Ice was one of the last purely Sp.Atk element back in Gen 1 that wasn't resisted by Dragon, and they stuck with it. Although like half of the other elements, all moves it had were Special until Gen 4.

And seriously. Ash doesn't know what he's doing. If I was in his spot, I'd have caught that gynormous Tentacruel back in Season 1.

Explain Kingdra, if all dragon-types have to have double weaknesses. :T The reason most dragon-types are overpowered is because of their stats. If the resistances were all that did it for them, people would never evolve Dragonair.

I didn't wanna count Kingdra mainly because its /Dragon was sort of an add on later, while the rest were like that from the start. And in the case of stats, Flygon wouldn't really qualify for the OP position and yet it still eats 4x Ice.

I like how they keep adding more. I can't say I have no complaints.

I'm still hoping there's a Fire/Water type.

I'd like to see more WAYS to obtain and use Pokemon rather than just more Pokemon to obtain and use. Like, I remember before playing RBY my impression of Fly was gonna be like boarding an airship, you could move around on the map faster and pass over obstacles. Or, send a Pokemon out for Cut and they become controllable for a short time so you can Cut multiple things with one command. I mean, Dive was a cool way to capitalize on Surf, so I'd like to see other HMs get some versatility too, know what I'm sayin'.

That would be nice. I would like to see Dive used outside of battle again.

Kath is be happy with this.

A new pokemon game, more to do. Its out in Japan this year, so we won't be seeing this until 2011?

Then that is my goal for 2010. I'm getting SS when it comes out, and I found my Pearl while cleaning. (le gasp) And my old SP. So now I'm gonna go out when i get SS and buy Blue and Sapphire, then collect all 493 pokemon. Hopefully without cheats, but since I missed all the events I think I'll invest myself in a little Action Replay. If it works and doesnt screw my Pearl data over, I could send some pokemon out some peoples ways.

I hope those aren't the implemented starters. That Koala would be the first Grass Starter type I didn't like and wouldn't choose.

Out of those ones I'd have to go with the Water one.

Also, Golem needs a power up in this gen. Rhyperior pretty much beats him everywhere.

Edit: Go figure. If it stays like that, the Koala thing will be the Grass/Fight other than Breloom I requested. >.>

WHY CAN'T THE GRASS/FIGHTERS LOOK COOL?

Australian pride. Now we need a kangaroo, wombat and an emu with one head, and there could be an Australian gym.

New pokemans excites me. I don't care how repetitive it is, as long as they give me new gyms and new pokemon, it's a new experience for me.

I really hope those aren't the starters though.
