This is exactly what I'm talking about when I say prominent figures' behavior reflects on the entire guild. You wonder why the numbers are dwindling, and then you chase off friendly new recruits because they have less experience than you, or an attitude you look down on? If that's not elitism I don't know what is.

I'm certainly not the best person to be up on this soapbox, but if I had behaved like any of you guys, I'd be pretty ashamed of myself right now. :/

Imma play the devil's advocate this time. All in sport, no real conflict. Just saying that I have a friend who hates 3D platforming and adventure. Not because it is old school, but because he just couldn't do it. It was too hard for him to get used to, and that made for 0 fun factor. He hated the first zelda though, so it isn't that. But aLttP was his favorite one.

The strange thing is he did like NMH but that is a beat em up.
