Jounouchi stretched his torso up as much as he could manage, reaching the hatch and beginning to fumble with it. It wasn't a particularly difficult one, but it was a little more complex to undo it from a 'pointing-up' angle, especially while attempting not to fall off of someone who just happened to be swaying at the moment!
He huffed to himself, about to yell at Kaiba to stop moving, but was interrupted by the other's voice. He blinked upon hearing the question, taking a moment to register it. It wasn't a particularly odd question; most people would ask it if Jounouchi had told them he had sat on his best friend's shoulders like this before. It was just strange coming from Kaiba, the man whom most seemed to assume had no interest or curiosities into the lives of others, especially to people like Jounouchi. But he answered anyway, at least satisfied that the CEO was no longer swaying.
"Oh, that?" he couldn't help but chuckle to himself as he recalled that particular memory, managing to click the hatch open, "We were playing a prank on some kid at school. We had stolen his gym shorts while he was showering and I climbed on top of Honda to toss them over a high bar hanging down from the ceiling." he popped the security door open, "Got it." he smiled in triumph, grabbing hold of the edge of the opening, "Now to just pull myself up... I'm gonna stand on your shoulders for just a sec-" he used his arms to pull himself off of Kaiba a bit, quickly bringing his legs out and kicking off the man's shoulders for a boost as he brought his torso through the opening and leaned his chest over it. He proceeded to pull himself up from there, no longer balanced on Kaiba as he worked his way through.

"Yeesh-" Jounouchi grasped onto the opening atop the elevator, keeping himself steady as the thing shook. Once it had steadied, he looked around the top, examining to see if there was anything he could lower to pull Kaiba out, or something he could use as a foothold to keep himself up hear while leaning back through the hole. No such luck.
He'd prefer not to leave Kaiba here alone in such danger; after all, if the other died while he was off getting help, he wouldn't be able to keep himself from feeling responsible. But what other choice did he have at this point? Oh, wait a minute... "Hey Kaiba, I got a different idea! Take off your coat and toss it up here, will ya?"

Jounouchi leaned his body out and extended an arm out to catch the coat. He dragged it back up for a moment, making sure it wasn't bunched up at all, then put his wrist through one of the arm holes, letting it slide down to the crevice over his elbow. He then let the coat fall back through the opening, grabbing onto a pole above him with his coatless arm, then using the other to hold onto his first arm for support.
"Can you reach that? I thought your coat was pretty long, so if you can grab onto it, I can pull you up."

((Hope you get what Jounouchi's doing by my description. XP I'm not very good at explaining those types of things. I'd probably be better off drawing a diagram. XD))

"Oof-" Jounouchi felt himself get pulled down for a moment as Kaiba grabbed hold, but he quickly tightened his grip on the pipe, keeping himself from falling, "Th-that was different." he huffed, beginning to use it to pull himself up, taking Kaiba with him, "I was trying to... ugh-stand with just my legs with you over me... This time I got my whole body and... this pipe thing to hold onto for support." he continued heaving, struggling to bring Kaiba's weight up, but seeming to manage little by little.

((Aha, sorry. XD;; As I said, I'm bad at explaining this kind of thing.))

"I can do this just fine!" Jounouchi said stubbornly with a huff, "And why didn't you say there was a hose up there to begin with?!" he grunted as he continued pulling up, now getting to a point where he could loop the coat around the pipe and pull from there, "Either way, why bother stopping now when we're so close? I'll go get your damn fire hose if this ends up not working!"

"Tch, you told me to get out of the building with an emergency latch or something!" Jounouchi retorted, bringing Kaiba up those last few inches... "I thought you wanted me to run out and get help. Urh-" he paused in his yanking, now holding the coat taut over the pipe, trying not to let go.

However, before Kaiba could summon the strength to pull himself up, a pair of arms had wrapped around his torso, muscles flexing as they tightened their grip around him, beginning to assist in getting him on top of the elevator.
"C'mon Kaiba, I can't pull you up all on my own." Jounouchi grunted as he heaved, "Help me." he said in annoyance, the side of his face next to Kaiba's, their cheeks almost touching.

"Y-yeah." Jounouchi nodded, looking a bit pale from the constant shaking of the elevator, "And fast." he decided not to risk walking on this unstable surface, instead crawling over to the ladder before pulling himself up, climbing onto the first few rungs without wasting anymore time.
