I came to a small group of people, and creatures. My senses on high alert I held out my wrist, the wolf stone that helped control my magick was pulsing dimly, no dangerous threat. I slowly walked up to the group.

Ampris sticks her tongue out at Rime"I just collectings things that were stolen from my family. And yes I want you to go after it.I would come with but....well if I go near the guardians I tend to lose my good nature and become a true monsterous vampires"

I looked at the vampire who was talking. I looked back at my wolf stone, the light was glowing only slightly brighter than before. I stood straight and just watched

Ampris turns her head then looks straight at the human girl.She smiles..She pet Dragos who moved closer to her

Suddenly my gem flashes brightly in a warning, I gulp silently as I looked at the two of them. It had been a vampire that had killed my parents.

I shake my head quickly. I stand stock still and in a semi fighting stance, my stone now glowing through my sleeve

Ampris shrugs"Its not nice to stare child"She pets dragos who watches the girl ready to attack if need be

"I am not a child..." I finally say watching the dragon carefully.
"And I am not staring...... merely observing," I countered

Ampris sighs'We will nay hurt ye"She started to eat more cherries

I scoffed, "That's what the vampire who murdered my parents told me...." I whispered harshly

Rime shook her head. "Mmm hmmm..." She said through a mouthful of frozen cherries. "And why do you expect me to be your blind follower again? How about Aurora and I keep you in check?" Then she turned to the human and said "She doesn't feed on humans often anymore. She lives on a diet of cherries and fear." She giggled slightly.

I looked at Rime, I don't know why, but I suddenly relaxed and bowed. "Forgive me," i said quietly

Rime smiled. "No need to be so polite. I am used to navigating travelers through full white snowstorms. And politeness is beyond me. I am used to bare solitude." Aurora snorted. "With you." Rime said. Aurora purred.
