Ok first off I'd like to say I got
alot of good pictures. I'm sorry everyone can't win but even if you didn't doesn't mean that I didn't really like your pic. Sadly I can only choose three so here we go.
First off I'll show my top 5 favorite entries.
3rd Place, winning 2,000 goldNow, this was a tough one to pic. I had four excellent entires to choose from. Aeisha's 2 entries both helped along with the psychotic appearance of Jin but made him look a bit young. Cold blooded angels drawing brought out a unique and alternitive style I liked, but took away a tad bit of the seriousness I was working for. Lastly Lord Yamanato had an excellent drawing that looked as if painted on canvas that I really enjoyed, yet it somewhat lacked the anime quality I was looking for.
When all was said and done I had to wind up going with Aeisha's 2nd entry, it didn't look quite as young as her first but still retained much of the image I imagened of Jin in my head.
2nd Place, winning 5,000 gold!This drawing was one of the few that showed Jin actually manipulating blood. Although others had blood in them this was really something I had wanted to see. An excellent backround and superb coloring gives this pic my second place award.
1st Place, winning 10,000 gold!Ok, this was my favorite. Now it was a shame it wasn't colored but this seriously captured a dark insane side of Jin that just sticks in my head. Stunning line work, the anime style I was after, and with the costume down perfectly I had to give this the first place award.
Thank you everyone so much for all of your excellent drawings. I will be Archieving them all in my guild under a thread I'm making just for pics of my character. You all did excellent work, especially those mentioned in the winners lists, I would be overjoyed to see any of you entering my next art contest of Jin which is currently bieng held
