And another post.
Although, you say he could have been tricked into joining the Dragon, he wasn't. He's an evil guy when he gets angry. He joined the Dragon because he was a bandit, and the Dragon could be a way of getting more money. And then, the more time he spent around him, the worse he got. And he's also slightly insane.

maybe I'm reading into this too deeply, and I also have a knack for questioning all my own moves...but is Jolyre's quest for water supposed to turn into something exciting like an unfortunate losing of the way or a brutal kidnapping or something?
I don't know if I'm supposed to make it..like..huge or not xD

I had the same problem at the beginning of the RP! Whether or not to make that post smashing or subtle. I think it was my second or third one... something like that. But, anyway, I know how you feel, Lythe.
But I'm really here to ask you whether I could come with you to get that ominous pale of harmless water...? Whoever said getting a keg of water had to be a meager task meant for peasants should go stick his head, ahem, somewhere. But it's always better when there's two people. xP
