Lyla felt his arms wrap around her waist, but she did not fight it. No man had ever touched her like that before... She closed her eyes, waiting to see what would come next. Suddenly, she felt his lips against her own as she melted into his kiss. Her arms slowly moved up and wrapped themselves around the back of his neck. She had never been kissed before, but she already knew that she loved the feeling of his kiss.

Damien felt her arms around him, he had never been or had ever kissed anyone before. He was a warhero, not viewed as a lover. But she seemed to have a different view; and better morals. But what would anyone presume if he disappeared from the kingdom? What of them, or of her kingdom? Would they assume they had died? But that didn't matter right now. He moved one arm to her upper back and continued the kiss, it wasn't anything like he would have imagined, it was better.

Lyla felt his hand move up to her back and she smiled into the kiss. She tilted her head to the side, locking them into the kiss. She could fell the water rush past them, but it was not strong enough to move them apart. This was treason... she knew that. She knew that her parents were probably wondering where she was. She she kept those thoughts from her mind... all that matter now was this connection between him and her. One of her hands slowly moved down and placed itself on his chest. She could feel his heart beat... her heart and his were beating as one. Oh, how she loved this feel... wait, love?

And I never want it to pass."If there's love, there's reason. If there's none, then it's treason. This is love, not treason. Damien felt her move again, time seemed to stand still for them. He felt her hand on his chest and he moved his from her chest to the back of her head. He smiled as they became closer, not physically but in a more mental state. He breaths slowed and he realized he placed his other hand onto her lower back.

Lyla could feel his hands... one was on the back of her neck, the other was on her lower back... the lower back was a rather scandalous region of a woman's body. The other regions were obvious as to why they would be scandalous, but the lower back just seemed like a place where a person could lay their hand. She ignored this fact though, loving the feeling of his touch against her. They seemed to fit rather perfectly together, like two puzzle pieces. This interaction was something she had unknowingly longed for... now that she was with this man, she realized her longing. Wait... this was wrong. Even though she did not want to back away, she had to. She slowly removed her lips from his own and slowly backed away, towards her country's side of the river. She sighed as she looked at him, "I am sorry..."
