Did you ever play Spirit tracks?
It was the same great controls you hated, with a lot more difference between how the dungeons looked!
I don't even know how someone could call Phantom Hourglass shitty...

I never had an issue with the controls. They made using items more fun, IMO.

Yeah I was skeptical about the controls but it turned out they worked awesome.
It's gonna be great to use the circle pad though.

It's times like this I wish that I had actual money to burn and my eyes could see all kinds of 3D no problem.

Seems like no one has said much in this thread since it came out, but let me erase any doubt.
This game is the best 3DS game so far. Maybe that's not saying much, but whether you've ever played Ocarina of Time or not, it's worth picking up.
The changes were made perfectly. The game was improved in every way from the original version, but purists who were worried they would change things will be happy too.
In other words, get it. There's a reason it's the worlds highest rated game.

Well, it definitely lived up to my expectations so far.
The 3D is...intense. I find it hard to play the game for long periods of time, though this is pretty much expected.

It's worth getting if you've never played OoT before.
It's still worth it even if you already own it on N64.
