 Darek took her advice and didn't think of falling. He didn't really have any happy thoughts and these were his first since he could remember. Dannie went over to her friends and Darek went off by himself. He thought about skating on the ground with his powers, maybe using the electricaly currents to make him slide across the ground. This experience openned his eyes to new possiblilites with his powers. He saw Dannie coming back and he said, "If I give off enough electrical currents, do you think I could propel myself over cement and stuff like that and basically skate across nearly anything, well more like sliding?"

She shrugs her shoulders at him,"Your going to have to try it for yourself to know. It may or may not work ,but I'll be there if you need help." She skates around him before ending up in front of him with a smile on her face. She folds her arms over her chest,"Everyone is heading up to go eat ,so you can head up if your hungry. I think I'm going to stay here for a little while longer." She might be a little hungry ,but she ddin't feel like eating right now. "I think I'll try it tomorrow when I have free time" he said with a smile. He watched Dannie do figure eights. "I'll stay out here with you, its more fun than being in there," he said as he started to skate some more. DArek started to skate and started to go very fast. As he zoomed by Dannie he said, "I haven't quite got the hand at stopping haha."

Darek was nervous to use the pick when Dannie told him. He knew if he used it, he would most likely fall flat on his face. "I'll just slow down haha, I'd rather not fall on my face which I bet I wil," he said nervously. He stopped moving his legs so he could just glide to a stop. He stpped next to Dannie and said, "I averted disaster hahaha" he said in a triumpant tone.

She saw him slow down before caming to a stop next to her which was great. She raises an eyebrow at him before pushing his side lightly. She knew he might fall onto the ground which made his ego go a bit down. When Dannie poked him he lost his balance and was scrambling to regain it but failed utterly and faceplanted the ice. His anger flared to life but he layed there tense till his temper cooled down and he relaxed. He rolled over onto his back showing that his nose was bleeding. "Thanks, that was nice of you" he said still a little ticked.

She covered her mouth with both of her hands as she looks at him. She see the blood coming from his nose which made her frown before she knelt down. She wipes away the blood as much as she could before ripping more of her shirt. She put the piece of cloths under his nose as she put pressure to stop it bleed. She looks at him with sad eyes,"I'm so sorry Darek. Darek let out a sigh. "It's fine accidents happen, and at the rate were are going today you won't have any more of your shirt left," he said in a funny voice due to his nose being plugged. Relaizing it could be taking in a different way he said very fast as his face turned a similar shade as his blood, "Sorry didn't mean it in a dirty way I just ment me getting hurt and stuff..."

He smiled when he saw the playful grin. Darek laid there letting her words about him being different sit for a bit before saying something. " Well I went through different experiences than they did," he said in his usual tone he smile vanishing. He sat up his eyes distant. " So what's the plan now," he said quietly, " Keep skating, go inside, or do something else??

Darek sighed. "Aye it would be alot easier," he agreed. Darek layed there a bit uncomfortable from the silence. "So how long have you been here," he asked trying to get rid of the awkwardness. He looked at her and smiled.

"That is a long time," he exclaimed, "I've been here for what? a few months and you are the only person I talk too." Darek sat there trying to think of something else to say and start up a longer conversation. He had no luck.
