"First things first." Che started as he leaned forward in his chair placing his elbows on the table. "Owl kind. Pretty much like Jewish people for the most part. If there is a group or a class that everyone can agree on disliking, it's Owl kind right? A few of them, namely our favorite group of Owls, The Fallen Phoenix, are exciting revolutions in far off regions. Portugal, thousands of humans have been killed by Owls. The same in Brazil. Italy. There is a group of Owls there that are beginning to realize their strength." After leaning back again, Che rubbed the bridge of his nose sleepily, then yawned. He hadn't slept in over a week and for good reason. The world needed a progress report and the once God Owl took it upon himself to do it. "Sorry about that. Now, aside from the Owl uprisings here and there, we still have the Heralds to worry about. Have you noticed strange weather anywhere by any chance?"
~~~
"I don't want to be decked by a cosmic entity...I heard it's rather painful." Roulin replied with a light chuckle. He listened to the Cecilia as she explained her vision in detail and shuddered at the thought of a mass power loss. It had happened before to him and it wasn't fun. "...between you and me, the last time there was a power outage, I was beaten with a bat nearly to death." The Life Owl leaned against the back wall of the elevator which was had completed only a third of it's journey. "That is quite the vision...how about this. When we leave here, we will get some coffee or something and discuss this alright? That doesn't sound like a future I want to be part of."
To Roulin's right was the herald of water Sakura. Thankfully, she wasn't like Timothy. Bloodthirsty and filled with angst and rage. He could tell this easily from her words and her wanting to help him. In his mind, he prayed that this wasn't a ruse setup by a more smarter Herald. "If things go right Sakura, there won't be a fight. Please, do your best to keep it that way alright? I don't want to be known as the Owl who brought trouble to this island."
Anya Newton had left the UNS. She had traveled the world after leaving Russia. The only downside to her situation now was that she was being followed. Not by Will or anyone like that from the UNS. She was being followed by Nikolai Krane. A crazy Russian guy she had met at a train station in Russia.
Right now, she and Nikolai had made it to the island of Exire. It was an entire population of Owls. Anya would have preferred living in a place without too many people around. Apparently though, there weren't that many of those kinds of places around on the planet known as Earth. Besides, Anya didn't want to be entirely alone the entire rest of her life anyway.
Anya let out a sigh and ran a hand back through her now dyed blonde hair. She had dyed her hair blonde so no one she knew would recognize her. Well, she had dyed her hair after Amaya and Itachi's wedding only because she knew that Amaya of all people would be confused if she showed up with blonde hair. Before, it had just been a simple wig, but now she had actually decided to dye her hair. Nikolai had continuously protested her doing so, but Anya had done it anyway. She had never cared what people had thought about how she looked, so why start caring when Nikolai protested her changing her hair color.
Cecilia tapped her foot impatiently. Could this elevator be any slower? She had seen snails that were faster than this piece of junk. She winced slightly at the fact that he mentioned being beaten nearly to death with a bat. "Nah, I'm not going to deck you. Being beaten with a bat is enough torture," she chimed lightening the mood as she often tried to do. "Coffee sounds good. Although I'm not sure how much detail I'll be able to give you. This is the first time this has happened and it was only a short glimpse. Maybe my powers are growing, branching out. But sure. We might be able to figure something out." Cecilia looked with more suspicion at Sakura. She hoped that nothing bad would come of her being here, but she wasn't so sure. "Ugh, I could have flown us to the very top floor in no time flat."
((TFP - Danny)) Danny remained silent in the train car as the others discussed their plans for the humans in New York. Personaly he could careless what they wanted to do to the people. His social abilities had taken a dive since the incident that had released his power, he did not like the living, they were so unorganized and annoying to him and he mostly kept to himself. A small squashed mouse rested in his hands as he half listened to the conversation trying to learn more about his powers. slowly the body began to twitch to life again as he concentrated, Flooding the city? ah, that would not work, i hate water he thought with a frown watching the mouse's twitches die as he felt the fear of drowning chill his stomach and he shivered. letting out a sigh he tried to push the conversation aside to try and hold his control over the mouse.
"Coffee does wonders for the memory. That's why when you see me working late, I'm drinking it." Roulin inserted his bit of trivia before walking toward the door. The elevator of the hotel took longer than expected to reach the top floor. Was it hitting pockets of air or something? After a deep, restless sigh, the elevator rang, signaling that they'd reached their destination. They were now at floor X. "Thank you. Now that I've seen this place, I can teleport to and from it. Alright ladies, I think it's about time we go and meet our friend." Roulin adjusted his dark red tie against his black button up shirt and started down the hall to where he thought Lucien may be in this suite. After few steps, he called out to his old partner and waited in the center of the hall for him. "Alright Cecilia. If anything seems to be out of the ordinary, leave without hesitation understand?" Roulin said to her with sincere concern. "I know you're just a temp but...you're a really cool temp."
((UNS - Will - Totally making up stuff here. Let me know if I should edit.))
"Oh?" The Satan Owl smirked and moved closer to Che, propping his head on his hands, elbows also on the table and hands clasped under his chin. "You're so young, Che. Not quite the same, but... " Will did not finish the sentence. It was his brief very toned down response to Che's remark about the Jewish comparison. His smirk widened however at the mention of the Fallen Phoenix, who he still had a hand in funding from the underworld. Chaos. How sweet. The Satan Owl did not comment on Che's yawning, or at least, he didn't for the moment. "Lazy." Toned down again. The lower simmering animosity Will had toward his student was hidden because as he had already decided, the a** kicking would come later. While Che leaned back, Will kept his position, propped on the table. "Funny you should say that, my dear Watson. You're in the middle of one right now. There's been potentially strange weather in the relatively more peaceful areas, as if they're purposely trying to make the world fall into chaos." The Satan Owl looked at Che and smiled ridiculously innocently.
"Look, all I'm saying, is that the hair was one thing, that I could handle. You needed to change your hair color to make sure people didn't recognize you. I wouldn't have gone with blond but it is your hair. But really? Colored contacts too? I liked the green eyes that could make someone with ADHD stop and stare for a long while... But then again, I suppose that's your choice too. I would have gone with a darker color than blue if it were me... oh wait, my eyes are blue... Where'd you get those contacts again?" Nikolai Krane strolled beside Anya with his hands in his pockets and his pair of large headphones hanging around his neck, still blasting music so he could hear it. His movements were slightly odd, While Anya was simply walking, Nik was moving his feet like one would if they were dancing, he even did a spin or two to accentuate an important point when he was talking. Every so often, he would shift his position using the shadows, often standing sideways on walls, basically defying gravity by using the shadows. Sighing, Nikolai sped his step up a little and moved in front of Anya, dancing backwards while looking at her and saying, "You know, I didn't think we'd wind up in a place like this. Especially after everything that's happened. But then again, I suppose this is the safest place for us at the moment. Well, minus the guy that's going all 'Sylar' on the people up here. But whatever, I like it here, my room has this super air conditioning, so I can turn the temperature down to like forty degrees! And the black out curtains, oh, it's so nice. It's like my entire room is pitch black at night, it's absolutely wonderful." Nik, spun out of Anya's way and dropped back to his place beside her, before asking, "Where are we headed, anyway?" Nik tilted his head slightly and raised an eyebrow, he was just following Anya, so he wasn't terribly sure where they were going in the first place.
Cecilia straightened her clothing as they stepped out of the elevator. She looked around. She had to admit, it was quite nice, but once again there was the overkill. What happened to the simple hotel rooms with one or two double beds, a wi-fi set up, cable television, and a small bathroom? This Lucien must have definitely liked the finer things in life. She nodded in response to what Roulin said to her, a blush was prominent on her cheeks at the fact that he said that she was cool. But still, if there was danger, she couldn't leave without Roulin. She stood beside Roulin waiting for this Lucien to make his appearance.
Anya frowned as Nikolai once again brought up the subject of her 'disguise'. She let out a mildly frustrated sounding sigh in response. "Why should I care what you think about how I look? I never cared about it before, so why the hell should I even start now?" Anya retorted flatly. She wasn't bothered by the odd way Nik walked around anymore. If you could call his dance moves, or even that gravity-defying thing, walking. Granted, it did kind of unnerve her once in a while, but she didn't mention it as often as she had in the past year or so.
"The contacts I got..." Anya thought about that for a moment or two before stopping and looking over at Nik with a strange look. "Why the heck are you even asking such a stupid question? You were there I bought them from that website!" Right after she said that, Anya felt stupid saying it. Instead, she rolled her eyes and started walking again. She didn't really have a particular destination in mind at the moment. She was really just wandering, trying to locate a place where she could apply for some kind of work. They had to pay their rent somehow after all, and it didn't look like Nikolai was going to find a job anytime soon. "I'm looking for a 'Help Wanted' sign. I don't know what you're doing by following me everywhere. I have to pay the rent on our apartment on this island somehow." They were actually running a bit short on cash at the moment anyway.
Nikolai smiled and spoke lightly, "Well, see, I like the idea of having red eyes. I think it'd add nicely to my hair." Nik ran a hand through his short hair and ruffled it a bit. He smiled and listened as Anya poked at him for not having a job. Nik replied simply, "Well, it's not as though I've tried yet. But it's either a singer at a club, a masseuse or a male prostitute, and no establishment has really caught my eye. I'm sure something will come up. We've got enough cash on us to last us til the end of the month. If I could go down to the city and get to a bank, I could get us another million or so. But they aren't too fond of people like us at the moment..." Nik dropped behind Anya and switched sides, coming back up to her side on her left, twirling and saying, "What kind of job would you take? I'd say hostess, but that business kinda died with the Japan thing... I'm just gonna guess and say... waitress? No... I honestly can't picture you in any sort of job other than your old one at the UNS... " Nik hummed lightly along with the music that was playing over his headphones, causing a few people to stare at him, but he was used to that by now. He continued to follow Anya on her quest to make them some money, keeping an eye out for somewhere reputable he could at least try and work. Something dinged in Nik's mind and he twirled in front of Anya and said, "I'm also flattered that you chose blue for your eye color to be more like me, but I just don't think blue works for you. And how can you still be annoyed by the fact that I'm following you around? I mean come on, it's been a year and a half. I still found it funny how that one girl thought we were a couple at the wedding. What was her name? Was it Amaya who asked? We had fun at the wedding didn't we? I wasn't especially fond of the fact that it was in Hawaii, but other than that it was nice."
Noel heard Moli's request and soon he had clothes on his body. They had done enough work for today, making major moves compared to the humans alone with the relief effort. They needed to have a meeting, concerning on finding Che's deck, and how to kill Thomas once and for all. Noel knew Che would be meeting up with his old teacher Will, and Noel allowed it, the body idea was one of her most creative ideas ever. It was probably one of the most manipulative things she could ever done, but having stipulations on that body ensured that Che couldn't turn coat on her that easily.
Elle looked at her sister Erin and back at the group. Você acha que estamos a fazer aqui Erin? Quero dizer, sim, o acidente no Japão é triste e tudo, mas por que diabos estamos aqui há tanto tempo? Eu sinto que estamos aqui apenas como uma tripulação... de limpeza damnit apenas me dar algum tipo de ação!!! Elle projected telepathicly to her sister. When together they were a hive mind,sharing thoughts and were capable of telepathic abilities. Elle often spoke to her sister in portuguese that being their native language.
Aeon soon saw Moli as she began to run towards him. Whenever she saw him, something made her just melt. Maybe it was because he was the closest owl to her or maybe because his charisma or maybe just because he was cute, but Aeon was very fond of Moli and it made being an OWL not so bad. "Moli, it feels like ages since I've seen you" she said smiling giving him a hug.
Jeannie smirked putting her things into her bag and decided to follow after the group looking for Lucien. She took the steps instead of the elevator and kept a look of uninterest on her at all times. Lucien...sorry to bother you, but you intrigue me. No you don't know who I am...but I'm someone who could be of great help to you she projected to him. She just needed confirmation that he'd be on the same page as her.
Vincent rolled his eyes. "Damnit how much longer are we going to be here?" he asked the others who were in the UNS. He'd rather be at a rave or making things explode than to be here helping with the wreckage. Vincent soon left the site and found himself in a part of Japan that wasn't as messed up as the shore was. He sat down looking into the sky angry. "Where are you Miss Amara and why in the hell haven't I heard from you?" he asked as he put his hands on his head.
Aaliyah nodded at Raven once she had spoke. Aaliyah already had men who were willing to go on suicide missions in New York. Will had proven the most business worthy ally she had. All of these trained killers and funing on the Fallen Phoenix behalf. "I'm going to meet you all there, I need to get to work" she said as she walked out of the train car and to the outside. She felt the wind currents as she lifted off the car and flew into the sky. Creating monsoons off the coast of New York, the weather got worse and worse.
Amara had single handedly destroyed a city in South America with a mere thought as she fell to the ground. Looking up, she hadn't realized she had caused this damage. "What in the hell" she asked herself. She didn't know what was going on and she hadn't seen the herald of mind since they were seperated, how did she still have some of her powers?
((Night Owls: Erin --- Solaris, I think it would be easier for you to just type what Elle says in English, but just say she thought it in Portugese. sweatdrop lol))
Erin was jolted out of her own mind at the sound of her sister, Elle's voice in her head. Erin hadn't realized that she had thought that out loud to her sister as well. She really needed to remember to close off her mind sometimes. Erin blinked and looked over at the back of her sister's head as Elle was now looking at the rest of the Night Owls. 'Sorry... I just... don't like to see anyone suffer. Human or Owl.' Erin replied in portugese, giving Elle her signature small smile to reassure her sister that there was nothing wrong on Erin's side of the thinking here. Erin soon stepped out in front of her sister as she gave her next thought back. 'If you want more action though, you should take that idea up with Noel. She is the leader you know.' No one on the Night Owls really knew about Elle and Erin's hive mind capacity. Noel and the others thought that Elle had just her technology manipulation and Erin had her blood manipulation.
((lol sorry sweatdrop )) Elle looked at her sister. She sometimes wondered about Erin...was she sure of who she was? There were things that Elle sometimes wondered about her and her sister but for some reason, being with the Night OWLS was where they belonged so far. Elle had been receiving feelings that something strong...something that needed to be apart of their hive mind was awakened. She had heard tales of the phoenix and her and sister have even probed the minds of their team mates, witnessing the power it gave off. Elle soon shook her head, looking back at her sister. Erin sometimes I worry about you....if you ever need to talk let me know. By the way, have you been taking notes of everyone who we work with? Have you been able to feel any other psychics near us at times? she asked her sister in portuguese. She hadn't sensed anything but perhaps Erin did, she was always good with detail, somewhere Erin fell short in, always looking and planning ahead.
"I will and always will be lazy. After this little year and a half break, I deserve it. Teaching a angsty teen how to be a good leader isn't hard. I did something extremely important out of it all." Che opened one eye and looked at Will before his grin became a toothy smile. "What it was you'll know in due time. For now, these Heralds. Yes, they are stirring up chaos. With more snow in certain areas comes more consumption of fuel. That's just one predicament." The Mastering Owl couldn't help but find Will's grin to be more than just a little innocent. He leaned forward and placed his hands on the table. Moments afterwards, he began to tap it with a distinct rhythm. "We need to kill Thomas and Timothy fast." He said in a tone more serious than his ear to ear grin. "If we don't, this world is going to hell. I've been to your crap home once Will. I don't want to go again."
~~~
Just as he requested, Moli received a light blue hoodie, dark blue pants and blue and white shoes. The tip of the shoes were harder giving his fighting style an extra boost. "Oh hey the--" Before Moli could finish his greetings, his old friend Aeon had her arms wrapped around his waist. As if he hadn't been heated enough for one day. "Ummm..." He could feel his knees quaking beneath him, but he stood tall making sure not to fall over. "It's been a while Aeon. I can tell you that much. How've you been? Have you gotten any better at your skills and abilities?" he asked shakily.

Aeon looked at Moli and smiled. "Actually I have" she said. "I can mobilize my barriers and even create shapes now" she said to him with a smile. Concerning her true abilities of projection, she had no more control than what she had a year and a half ago. "Recently though I've been having horrible nightmares...that OWLs will destroy this world" she told him. "I'm sure it's nothing though" she said with a warm smile. "C'mon, I bet Noel is waiting on you leader" she said with a grin.
The herald of mind was meditating in a rural area of the world. Listening to thoughts, feelings and the day to day memories and dreams the people of this world experienced. Her long red hair flaired as she looked upwards. She needed to speak with Che and William. Hello Che...so...do you need help? Let's take down the Heralds down one by one....and Thomas....well....let's just say I'm interested in playing this game with you, and why not team up with one of the most ellusive owls that have walked the planet. she projected. If he agreed to work with her, he would have an hand up on any other team in this world. The herald of mind had had enough of hiding, she was ready to once again get out into the field.
