Selke smiled as he played. He had a beautiful singing voice, for a human, that is. At the end of the song, she was certain she clapped the loudest for this fellow. There was something about the way he sang, and the way he looked as he did it that she found hypnotizing. Walking up to the stage, she smiled, for the first time at this boy, a truly friendly smile. "That was, amazing." She said.

 Elderain nodded and stood up taking a respectful bow. He looks at her and see's her smile. He smiled back " Thank you my friend." he said handing off the guitar as he stepped of the stage with her and sat down with her " I didn't think I was gonna make it." he said.

"Nonsense, dededee. You just have to have confidence in yourself!" She said, giving him a playful shove. She called Kaunir over, asking him for an iced tea, and whatever it was Elderain wanted to drink.

Elderain looked at her and smiled " Thanks." he said and ordered Rasberrry tea. He sighed and leaned back " This is actually a fun day...I'm usually scared but I won't back down." he said. .

Fyora smiled and footed the bill to the waiter. "You're welcome. And not to worry, the day is full of surprises." She said with a smile. She herself was having such a fun time today. Little did she know that back at her home, a torrent of disaster was happening.

Fyora smiled dreamily. "Yeah, it would be nice if it was, eh?" She sighed. She was enjoying herself today, and loved the fact that she saw so many familiar faces that came just to celebrate the boss's birthday. The rest of the days festivities went on without a hitch, and before Fyora knew it, it was dusk outside. "Well, Elderain, i better get home before it gets dark." She said as she made her way toward the door.

Elderain stood up and followed her " Fyora..allow me to walk you home as thanks for helping me." he said and smiled following her all the way. He crossed his arms a little cold but that was just his Cryomancy.

Fyora smiled and held up a hand. "Oh there's really no need to---" She stopped and stared out into the distance. In the forest, you could see smoke, right about where her house would be. "Oh no..." She said before launching toward the trees, morphing into her panther form while doing so. Sprinting as fast as she could, not stopping to dilly dally, she arrived to see her treehouse ablaze. "NO!" She roared and scaled the neighboring tree, just enough to get inside her burning home. Searching amidst the hungry flames quickly, she spotted her coat, her medic box, and a picture, all of which important to her. grabbing the cloak and picture first, she stuffed them into the box and clamped it in her mighty jaws before leaping out and landing her smoking paws on the cool forest floor. Morphing back into her human form, she clutched those precious items to her chest, crying bitter tears.

Elderain ran over to her when he saw and put his hand on her back. He growled " The dragons probably did this...do you know where they hide or do I have to call them out?" he asked.

Fyora scrubbed at her eyes, trying to clear the tears. "I do know where they live.... but now's not the time for revenge." She said, choking on her tears. "Right now, i've gotta get out of this forest and find another place to live." She said softly, picking up her three possessions and heading back the way she came.

Elderain looked at her " Wel....l uhm..you can live at my house if you want." he said and looked at her wanting to see her answer as he looked around thinking of a good place to go to talk to those dragons.

Fyora looked up at him. "Oh... but..... i... are you sure?" She stammered. In a way, she coldn't believe what she was hearing. A human, wanted to give her help? and a place to stay? Unbelievable.

Elderain looked at her "Yes I'm sure." he said " I mean my house is pretty big and its peaceful where I live so you should feel comfortable at least." he said " I mean you would still have yuor own room and you wouldn't really have to deal with me all that much." he said.

 Fyora set her things down and wrapped him in a big hug. "Thank you." She said, a single tear falling down her cheek. Realizing that she was acting like a sissy, she quickly let go, blushing a bit. "well then, um... which way to your home? before it gets dark, anyway..." She stammered, gathering her belongings.
