As Nero offered Natalie a drink, Mae hopped off the stage.
She opened the mini fridge,pulling out a water bottle and Monster.
Giving Natalie the water, she sat near Nero again. This time, she sat at an angle so he wouldn't bring her close to him again. Blushing in public wasn't something she was fond of.
As the other two talked, she began to wander into her own thoughts.
I wish I wore some shorts,I'm ready to get out of this dress..
She twirled her blond hair in her fingers,observing it.
I need a better shampoo.. my hair looks so pale.. Should I dye it?
Would I look good as a redhead? Wait,no, a brunette? Nahhh,that's too much work..
I wonder what's on TV tonight..I bought popcorn right?
She sipped her green Monster slowly,thinking.

"No, I'm fi-" Natalie began to say, but Mae was already coming back from the fridge with a water bottle for her. She took it, muttering a shy, "Thanks," before taking out her phone. It wasn't like she had anyone to text, but she felt the need to be doing something with her hands.

"Well we've done our singing, so why don't you head on up there and pick out a nice song, eh?" Nero chuckled and reached for Mae, but frowned a little to see that she moved out of his reach. Harsh.

Nataie shrugged. "Sure," She said. Playing the piano was more her forte, but she liked to think she was a pretty strong singer as well. The only problem would be finding a song that she liked in the catalog. She flipped through it for a few minutes until she found a song that she could remember fondly called Celebration. The opening chords began and she took a deep breath before singing.

"Some people say that today is the day when the wind will rise and blow the world away.
And it may be so. I just don't know.

Nero nodded in approbation. She was good. Heh, now that he thought about it, a lot of people were good in this school. It was like a bad voice was the rare talent instead!

The girl was very talented,indeed. Mae-Ri mentally noted to ask Natalie to sing with her one day. She could possibly get some pointers! Mae checked her watch, seeing that it was close to midnight.
"Woah!" she gasped, standing back up.
She remembered there was a rainstorm coming very late tonight and she didn't make any preparations.

"Whoa, hold the horses, toots!" Nero blinked at Mae's sudden outburst and got up himself. "What's wrong?" he asked.

Mae turned her attention to her boyfriend.
"Its so late, I didn't realize" She replied,slowly.
Remembering she still had a paper to finish by tomorrow, she groaned.
"There's no way possible for me to finish.." she mumbled to herself.
"It's okay,I guess.." she said, sitting down again

"Finish what?" he said, confused by her fragments of words. It took him a few minutes, but he finally realized that she was talking about some kind of homework and chuckled. Another perk about being a god, no school.... Despite the fact that he chose to be here. "What's your homework over, toots?" he asked and sat back down.

She paused and looked at him.
"Nothing too important. Just an ..Ol' history paper.." She said, twirling her hair again.
She wouldn't tell him what it was about.
If he asks,I'll lie..

"C'mon, you can tell lil' ol' me." Nero smiled. "Unless you want Njord to help you with some homework. Dude's way smarter than me." he said and folded his arms behind his head, finding it funny that they were the same person.

Mae squirmed, " I have to write a 5 page report on some mythical things or ..people."
She really didn't want to ask for his help, it would do no good. Mae was one easily distracted child.

"HA! Admit it, you just want to write about me." Nero smirked a cocky smirk.

Mae narrowed her eyes at him and stuck her tongue out.
"Not uh! Its not that I want to, I have to!" She desprately admitted.
She folded her arms and pouted.
Not good,not good at all..

"Riiight." the young god rolled his eyes, not buying it one bit.
