Soto chuckled to himself as his little girl learned her lesson from the last time she drunk the milk so fast he then walked over to her and started to talk to her even though she couldn't talk back "Y'know Rose someday you gonna be the most beautiful girl in this city." he smiled widely then grabbed his phone and went to the other room to make a call from the call he missed yesterday from Rose's mother. He didn't want to do it but he swallowed his pride and went to make the call

 Rose then wondered where he was going and even though she could see him from where she was she stops drinking and cooes at him wanting to know what he was doing.

Soto looked around at his daughter and put on a smile ".......yeah.....but you left......." he was trying to talk on the phone but it sounded like the other person on the line didn't want to hear him speak. The last words he said said before hanging up the phone was "Okay......fine you can come but just don't try to stir up trouble. okay?" by the look on his face his face the other person must have agreed to it. He turned around and put on a happy face for his daughter and came over to her and said "Are you all finish with your bottle?" He didn't want to look sad in front of his daughter cause like he said it was their day and nothing was going to spoil it. But in the back of his mind he couldn't let it go that Rose's mother was coming for a visit after so long.

Rose then cooes and at him. She was finished with the bottle and gives it to him. She then giggles and reaches for him as soon as he finished washing the bottle. She wanted to crawl around and play.

Soto finished washing the bottle then dried his hands and went over to carry his daughter to the living room and let her play around. Soto kissed his daughter on her cheek before setting her down letting her play with her toys. "Daddy's got a little work to do ok so you play nice with all your toys ok?" he said smiling he went straight to the table right next to her to finish working on the "job" he had to do.

Rose then crawls over to her toys and was playing in her playpen. She then watches Soto after a while and wondered what all the fuss was about. She then tilts her head and was holding a little stuffed ducky in her little arms.

Soto turned in his chair and just started to do work but stop after a while to think to him self "Why is she now deciding to come after a a whole year has gone by?" He was wondering about Rose's mom. "It been a whole year and now she wants to show up for Rose's birthday." He just realized something her birthday was coming up but he never made or brought her a present he knew Rose will have a fit if she realized he never got her a present. Time was pressing on and he was running out of time on the dead line for his job's work and his daughter's birthday he was also about to relive a nightmare about her mother coming for her birthday. "WHAT AM I GOING TO DO?" He yelled in his head.

Rose then tilts her head seeing him confused and said "Daddy?" She then looks at him and wondered what was wrong. She had never seen him like this before.

Soto turned to his daughter and looked ar her carefully. "It's ok Rose. He smiled then went to her and laid on his stomach in front of her do you know what day is coming up Rose?" He asked her wondering if she knew. But being at a young age she probably didn't know.

Rose tilts her head and reaches for him. SHe then giggles when she grabs his nose. She then smiles and claps her hands having fun.

"I guess not." He said as she started to laugh and clap her hands. "Y'know Rose I wish you the best of luck when you grow up and have a family I just hope you never ever be like your mother." He was starting to cry again as his memory return to that night when her mom left both of them. He then dried his tears and lifted her up and started to play with her ignoring his work. He was rolling on his back with his daughter close to him.

Rose giggles and plays with her daddy. She loved him so much and although she barely knew her mother she waws perfectly happy. As they play she crawls around ith him standing over her and trying to catch her. SHe laughs and eventually sits and claps her hands cutely.

Soto loved playing with his daughter and didn't mind her trying to get it was game that Rose liked to play when it was just them. It really didn't matter he thought it was so cute how she could have fun no matter what. He then stood up and cracked his neck. "Ok Rose I have to finish my work." He picked her up then put her in her play pin so she would be bored while he did his job.

Rose was bred now and goes over to a giant teddy bear she had. She hten grabs her blanket and cuddles up with the soft peice of fabric. She loved her blanket and took it anywhere she saw fit. She was asleep after a while and had her little head on the teddy bear. She was cuddled up to it and was curled up into a little fluffy ball. Her tail was wrapped around her and her blanket was in her tiny hands.

Soto looked over at his little girl. She looked so cute bundled up in her blanket. She looked like a little fur ball like she did when ever she slept but this was one different he could tell that she was having a good dream so he started back on his work. After a few hours he felt really sleepy so he looked at the time to see that it was 8:00 pm. "It's almost time for her to eat." He said as he went to make her a bottle mixed with baby food so she wouldn't haft to eat pie all the time. So he made the bottle and just waited for her to wake up so he grab her and make sure that she knew he was still here with her.
