Shayla Fagan She had not reacted when she saw the German had a gun, and seeing as how one of the owner's men seemed to have it under control she simply made herself scarce. Ordering a small cheap meal she found a small corner table and at alone on silence.

The car caught his attention almost as much as the merchandise, "very nice..." He took a moment to scan over the weapons, pointing to the PPD-40 he asked "mind if I look it over?" Seamus was sympathetic to the plight of the arms runner, too many people got over grabby. He had been looking for a decent submachine gun, and this one might fit the bill.

SIC VIS PACEMPARA BELLVM "By all means." Gerulf picks up the gun and hands it to Seamus. "Zat is, as I said, ze PPD-40. Das ist a Russin maschinenpistole. It comes vit eisser a 25 round box magazine or a 71 round drum. I haff both, but I haff a limited number of ze drums. It fires 7.62mm Russin ammunition. Not ze easiest to get... It ist fery similar to ze MP28. I only haff 15 of zem unt zey are, sorry to say, expensive..." Gerulf takes a puff on his pipe. "Zey are also complicated. I would suggest ze Thompson or an MP18 or 28 over zat. To be honest, I haff zem because I had a buyer change his mind."

Gerulf made some good recommendations, however due to a now deceased comrade the PPD-40 held a special meaning for him. "Thanks for the tip but I believe I am going to have to go with it regardless," he thought of a way to explain. "These are hard to find when your Irish, and with you being a new friend ammo shouldn't be too hard?" He looked over the gun in his hands. He rarely had use for anything this loud, but when the situation called for it he would be prepared. Looking down the sights he added, "a regular clip would be fine as well if I ever need a drum's worth of ammo I did something wrong." As he said the last part he chuckled to himself, he also took note of the last comment gerulf made. They were expensive, but given the fact that he felt stuck with them might help the price even out a little.

Brian O'Callighan Brian finished the modification on the weapons. He placed the guns on the wall. He left the basement. He didn't see Seamus. He shrugged and looked around the club. He noticed Shayla alone. He walked over to her. "Care for some company?"

SIC VIS PACEMPARA BELLVM As Seamus looks over the gun Gerulf takes several long puffs on his pipe. "Vell... If you are zat adiment on buying ze gun... I'll srow in two full clips unt a full drum for free. Zey don't fit any of mine other guns unt I don't need zat much Tokarev ammo." He starts tapping out his pipe. " My vearhouse at ze docks is No. 15. Any time you vant to come down and get you're maschinenpistole and look at other merchandise you are velcome."

ROXY Roxy finished getting ready and went out towards the bar to prepare for her first number. She began to sing and noticed some regulars at the bar including O'Sullivan but then it appeared that a German was there. She couldn't be sure but she knew one when she saw them. Since cultures were still strong with immigration it was easy to tell what someone was by their language, accent when they spoke English, their dress, the food they ate, even their smell. She watched him carefully as she continued to perform. She was always careful when a German, Spaniard, or a Italian came in the bar. When any of those came in it meant something was about to go down.

Richard O'SullivanO'Sullivan had been watching the German with very obvious suspicion. Because of the balance of power in Chicago, as well as his experience in the war O'Sullivan wasn't going to take any chances. He was very aware of both the brass knuckled trench knife strapped to his belt and the trench gun he carried which sat next to him against the wall. As Roxy walked out O'Sullivan's senses became even keener as he now had someone he deeply cared about to watch out for. He moved from his seat in the corner over to the bar next to her. He placed himself between Roxy and the German and looked at her, "When do you get done tonight?" he asked always wary of the German behind him. He simply leaned on the bar, with his hand on his knife inside his coat incase the German tried to pull something.

((The last two posts are a little behind, gerulf is outside with seamus)) Seamus handed the gun back to gerulf and extended a hand, "it was a pleasure looking at your wares and talk some business." It was rare to find a German that he could have a decent conversation with and not kill in the end, if seamus had to guess he was running from something. If nothing else he was an interesting character and seamus looked forward to their future dealings. "I might be around the docks later and if not I will certainly stop by tomorrow, ill have my associate find the perfect space for you; and if I can get a chance to talk to the boss ill have a better idea of what we may need from you." It had been a good encounter, but he had work to get back to.

SIC VIS PACEMPARA BELLVM After stowing the gun and closing up the compartment and trunk, Gerulf shakes Seamus' hand. "Here ist hoping to a long unt prosperous freundschaft, Herr Seamus. I'll haff your gun vaiting for you." Gerulf scrapes out his pipe and sits down in the front seat properly. "Now I'm sure you haff business to attend to. Vould you like me to drop you back at ze Kneipe?"

"Nay sir its just around the corner, thanks for the offer though," he gave a loose salute and headed back to the bar. One day he was going to have to see about getting a car like that, as he entered the bar he noticed nothing had really changed in his absence. He figured it would be about time to meet up with the other two for their assignment, he saw them tied up so he went back to his booth to wait. He waved for another whiskey and lit a cigarette, it was shaping up to be a good day.

Richard O'SullivanO'Sullivan had watched as Seamus had left with the German, and felt a bit of relief as the pair stepped out onto the street. He let his hand fall comfortably back to his side as he sat on a bar stool waiting to see when Roxy would be able to spend time with him. The two had become quite the pair over the past few weeks. Everyone had noticed, and even people like Eugene had commented on how cute they were together. O'Sullivan had come to love Roxy, she had managed to calm him down. His nightmares got better, and less frequent when he was around her, and in all he was a much more pleasant person to be around.

[quote="Ghost] Shayla Fagan Shayla looked up at the young Turk, and sighed. "If you have nothing better to do feel free to have a seat, but if you are looking for a roll in the hay I suggest you try your charms on the waitresses and entertainment of the club." Came an acidic reply that was more sharp then she meant. Her lack of progress had made her angry and she tended to strike out at anything that got within range because of it. She had chosen to stay behind when her family left for Boston, to find justice so far it was as elusive as the questing beast of Arther's legend. The only reason she even came here was to hope to hear about mob activity and perhaps what linked it to her family. To stay fed and in her rat hole of a room she had even become a cat burglar, which was an extremely well guarded secret of hers. *remember people no breaking the fourth wall. If your character has not meat another character they should not know secrets about them. Or act like they know them. Also remember to read other peoples posts carefully before posting yourself.*

Darth Ghranna Brian O'CallighanHe cracked a smile. "Not looking for any of that." He said as he sat down. He looked at her. 'Is this Shayla?' He thought. He was bad with faces. "Sorry if I smell off. Just finished some work." He grabbed his book from his back pocket and set it down on the seat. "Are you Shayla Fagan? The lady who does the outfits for the girls." He said.

Shayla Fagan "Yes, thats me. Why you have a suit jacket you need altered to hide the bulge of gun holster?" She asked him with a weary eye. This was unusual she had only ever dealt with this place's owner she was not sure what one of his soldiers would want with her.
