Luckily the beast was distracted too much by Keither to realize that Cam was standing behind it. The bounty hunter launched her Grapple Beam at it and managed to latch onto its neck. Cam pulled all of her weight into the beam and sent the beast flying into a wall. 	Keither "Spartan 503" Audo The Phazon Elite took the missile and stood up and ran at them again. Keither pulled a frag grenade out and rolled it at the beast and began to fire to keep it in place. The frag exploded but the beast still stood. Keither began to reload his shotgun while backing up so that he was safe. Then there was a sudden shock wave and he was knocked back a little surprised by it but he recovered and stood back up. As Cam balanced herself back out, the held down the trigger in her arm cannon and charged it up. Once the bounty hunter found her feet again, she let loose of her Charge Beam. Cam grimaced a bit when she realized that her attack didn't even faze the creature. 	Keither "Spartan 503" Audo The Phazon Elite took the beam but this one seemed to do some damage. It wasn't siphoning energy right now and since that beam was highly effective against the creature it stumbled a moment. It seemed to pick back up and went on the offensive again It swung again and nearly caught Keither but he jumped to avoid it. This was the one time he wished he had brought a spartan laser but for now he'd go with the Light Rifle. He put his shotgun on his back and picked up his light rifle and began to fire. That seemed to be doing a bit of damage to it at least. This guy was getting obnoxious and Cam was ready to Power Bomb his a. But that bomb would annihilate Keither as well... And Cam wasn't going to let that happen. With her finger poised on the trigger, Cam ran up towards the Elite and used her Grapple Beam to pull the beast down so that she could trap him. 	Keither "Spartan 503" Audo The Phazon Elite seemed to roar in pain when it was hit with another charge beam and turned around to strike her when he suddenly felt himself being pulled down. It looked up just to see the flash of the cannon and it all went silent. It made no attempts to get back up. Keither placed his Light rifle on his back and looked at her "That was annoying." he said. 	Keither "Spartan 503" Audo Keither sighed "Yeah, and odds are she'll just throw obstacle after obstacle at us trying to tire us out and kill us." he said and looked at her helmet and looked down. He wondered what Dark Samus was and what her vendetta against Cameran was. It had something to do with her mother but he never understood. He then heard something hit the ground behind him and he turned back but under his helmet his eyes opened wide. In front of them was a SPARTAN helmet covered in blood and cracked but he knew this helmet and he knew Cam would too. The helmet thrown at them was Cameran's helmet. It had been lost on Phaaze shortly before Chiasa's death but it seemed Dark Samus kept it to herself and was intent to shove Camaeran's failure into her face. Cam's left hand clenched into a fist and it was all she could do to keep from screaming into her comms unit. A beat passed and Cam forced her eyes closed and jerked her head away from the damned object. "Let's go." she hissed. "Before the b*h sends in more of her lackeys." 	Keither "Spartan 503" Audo Keither nodded silently and left the helmet there as he proceeded to the destination. He wanted revenge for his sister but they had to complete this mission before they could even think about it. There was maybe an hour left before they reached their destination but again there was a silence between the two but this one didn't seem quite so bad. At least not right now as they both realized that they needed to get done with this mission to avenge Chiasa. Cam wanted to run. She wanted to run back and challenge Dark Samus. She wanted to run back in time and give her own life to save Chiasa's... But it was too late. It was too late for all of that. The only thing she could do now was find solace in destroying Dark Samus. But not even that would bring Chiasa back... A sudden hiss disrupted Cam's chain of thought as she listened to the static on her comms unit come and go. Someone was trying to contact her... "Do you hear that?" The static came over her comms unit again, but this time, Cam was able to make out a few words. "....damn....hunter....back...Samus..." From the dialect, Cameran could tell that the voices on the other side of the line were Space Pirates. What exactly was this destination that the Spartans were leading her to? They wouldn't lead the Federation into a trap... Would they? "....invasion....East gate..." Cam's thoughts raced... She and Keither had docked on the eastern portion of the planet. They were headed directly into an ambush! Cam looked over at Keither and tried to grab his attention. She didn't want to use her comms unit, in case the Pirates would be able to hear her. Cam flung her arm cannon out to her side and let Keither's chest ram into her arm. We need to get moving and we need to take that base as soon a possible." he said and stared at her and realized something was wrong "What?" he asked. Good, this would help matters a lot. Cam punched a few commands in on her arm cannon and deactivated her Power Suit. Once she was standing beside Keither with her arm still on his chest, Cam pulled herself around to the front of the Spartan. This way, Keither would be able to hear her without the Pirates picking up on her comms signals. "The Pirates have picked up on my Power Suit's signals. They know we're, well... They think that Samus is here." Cam searched Keither's visor, looking for any sign of alarm. "They're planning an ambush." Cam didn't even notice that she was still clinging to Keither's arm and chest the same way she was just after he proposed to her.
