[FIN] Grand Escape!

See? See?! She knew it was a bad idea to blab everything to him and then freaking lead him here. This had literally been the worst idea in the history of worst ideas, and though she moved forward as if to help, she couldn't immediately think of what to even do.

Both Flynn and Yuri stared in slight surprise as a jet of water was suddenly shot between them. And while the former did take a step back, his attention remained on Yuri for the moment.

"I sent you to Kodo to keep you -out- of trouble, Yuri," he said before pointing his sword in Luke's direction. "And what is that?!"

Yuri sighed, both from the fact that his new friends were upset, and the fact that his old one was as well.

"I'm sure they told you Flynn. It's not that simple."

"There are other ways around these problems. You didn't have to stir up so much trouble."

Yuri just groaned and turned his back to the blonde. "Spare me, okay? Last thing I need right now is to be lectured by you." He then looked over to Luke and the girls with a smile. "Sorry about that. We should probably go catch a boat, huh?"

Luke recoiled lightly from the sudden blade gesturing in his general direction, his previous fear abating into thorough confusion at the exchange that occurred. He didn't completely understand what they were talking about, but he had a hard time just leaving it at that. He turned to address the unfamiliar swordsman, willing the lingering trembling to leave his hands. "Yuri's saved me several times," man, but did his voice lack the strength he would have liked it to have, "so if you're mad at him for something, it's probably my fault."

And now they were just... standing there... Talking?
Rosie stared for a few moment. They knew each other, from the sounds of it pretty well.
She didn't know what was going on, and the two didn't seem so inclined to explain it.
But at least it seemed like they were not going to be on bad terms.

Having nothing to say, and not sure what to do Rosie instead looked over to Luke when he spoke, reaching out to touch Sera's shoulder before she made her way over to their red headed friend, stopping only when she was next to him and glancing over at the blond man, then at Yuri when he spoke to them.
"What's going on?"

Vahy'n did not looked the least bit amused, her golden eyes still on the blond man, flicking down at his sword every once in a while and giving him the look of a disproving mother. "vaaapor!"
'Young man! PUT that sword away!'

Seraphine was just as confused as the rest of them, and when Rosie touched her shoulder it reminded the girl that she should probably do something, so she moved up with her friend to stand on Luke's other side. He neither looked nor sounded okay anymore. Worst idea ever. "Seriously, someone wanna tell us what the hell is going on here?"

Flynn glanced at the Vaporeon and slid the sword back into his holster, sighing lightly at the confusion from the others.

"I apologize, I didn't mean to confuse all of you," he said while Yuri just stood there with an annoyed frown and his arms folded, not looking at him.

"Yuri and I have known each other since childhood." Flynn continued then glanced at Luke, "And no one is at fault for Yuri's irresponsibility except him. He's committed crimes and needs to be punished."

Yuri sighed, he couldn't really dispute that.

Flynn then stepped towards Luke. "Also, I'll personally escort you back to your home Mr. Fabre, if you don't mind. Your father is worried about you."

Luke continued to disagree, but it didn't seem like it would do any good to fight it, so he resigned the point - especially as a more significant point came up. As Flynn advanced a step, Luke retreated one, the presence of his friends all but fading out of his perception entirely in his swiftly growing anxiety. "I do mind," he said, suddenly defiant despite his inability to find words to add to his retort. Going back on his own terms was one thing, but to allow himself to be officially escorted back was as good as walking into the cage and inviting them to shut the gate behind him. Not happening.

Vahy'n, looking pleased that the human had put back that dangerous weapon, and gave him a much softer look as she nodded once in approval.
As Flynn began to explain himself, Vahy'n made her way across to where Rosie was standing, stopping in front of the children and sitting herself down, placing large yellow eyes once again on the blond man, shifting it over to Yuri every now and then as they talked,
"Por por, Vaporeon." she chimed in, seeming to have more to say about this that Rosie did at the moment.

The Vaporeon was on her feet again, her tail swishing behind her, and sounding as if she was scolding.
"Vapooor poreon! por por Vvaa."
Vahy'n was on her feet again, Rosie blinking down at her as she continued to scold the blond man.


Rosie folded her hands in front of her with her eyebrows arched as she looked from Vahy'n who seemed to be letting the blond man have it in one of her scoldings, to the man who was not claiming he was coming along with them?
Vahy'n didn't seem a fan of that idea, being Very much like a mother who was standing up to a bully of her children.

As Luke took a step away from Flynn, Sera took one towards him to stand between the two. While she didn't catch onto the idea of Yuri being arrested, the idea of Luke being brought back to the manor was one she grasped quite easily - it was also one that she was absolutely, completely against. "He minds and we mind," she said heatedly, glaring at the blonde man as if it was his fault, though deep down she knew it was all because of Luke's father. "He left because he didn't want to be there, and you are not taking him back. He wants to go back home to Kodo and that is exactly where we're taking him."

As the Vaporeon went on her tirade, Flynn ignored her. Repede though, holding a pipe between his teeth, yawned widely as he listened Vahy'n go on and on and... eventually he got tired of it.

The blonde man however, did pause to listen to Luke and his friends, eventually turning back to Yuri as he chimed in after Sera. "That's right, Flynn. Luke's one of ours, and he's coming with us."

"I see," the officer said, putting a hand to his chin thoughtfully. After a moment or so, he looked up again and walked past Yuri and back towards the Rapidash he had riden.

"New evidence suggests that this is a runaway case and not an abduction. An evaluation will need to be conducted before further action can be taken."

Yuri's face then lit up in a smile. "I owe you one, man."

Vahy'n's and Seraphine's heated defenses - or he assumed that was the Vaporeon's intent given her tone and disposition - were surprising, abruptly reminding him of his place and company. And then the man was leaving, and Luke wasn't being forced in accompaniment, and he shudderingly exhaled the long breath he had no memory of holding. The young noble was filled with an incredible gratitude for his fortune in having ever met these people, for the fact that they were as firmly on his side as they were, but the irrational fear that drawing any attention to himself now would cause the officer to change his mind prevented him from voicing a word of that appreciation.

Vahy'n turned her soft frown toward the growlith when he spoke to her,
She commented toward him. but turned back over to slip with the young trainers.

rosie's hands clasped tightly into one another as the man seemed to take in what Luke, Sera and Yuri were saying, To her surprise he actually acknowledge that this wasn't an abduction.
A smile spread over Rosie's face when she heard that. Even though it was probably more of a favor for Yuri, seeing as they knew one another. This was good! they weren't criminals anymore! She felt almost giddy.
"Thank you so much!"

...wait really? Seriously? He was just gonna let Luke go just like that? The look on her face gave away her surprise, but she remained where she was, almost expecting it to be a joke or something. Had he known Yuri knew them even before he had shown them the wanted poster? That had to be it. This was all some kind of practical joke or something, and if it was, it was a ridiculous one.

Well... they could all think what they liked.

"Yeah, you do," Flynn said in reply to Yuri's statement, giving Rosie a smile as well. He then climbed on his Rapidash again and paused, "Yuri... it's good to see you again."

"Yeah," the raven haired one replied before the officer rode off without another word.

"So... about that boat."

…So that was it, then. After all that. Fine, whatever, no complaints - except the one, "Could you maybe tell your friends to not greet you by swinging weapons around like mad men? Damn near--" Had a heart attack? Too soon. He shook his head lightly to dismiss the remainder of the sentiment, willing the rest of his lingering tension to ebb away. Hopefully they would reach the pier without further incident and he could be well on his way off of that damnable island.
