Dove blinked, her heart sinking a little, but she smiled and nodded as Yuri greeted her. At least he hadn't just flat out ignored her, though he had every right to.
When Lovey tipped her head and raised to balance on her hind legs with a happy wave of her tail, however, the girl sighed. "Pecha berries?" she asked him, in reference to his ice cream. "She could pick them out a mile away, I'm sure..."
She looked to lovey and snapped her fingers once with a soft look, a motion that instantly had the Eevee settling down, though it looked disappointed. She then craned her neck a little to look down the row of vendors and tables, trying to locate the place he might have gotten it. They would definitely have to stop by there later...

"We think she's a she! But yeah! I called her Winglet!" Henrietta did seem to get louder the more excited she was. "Are you here to battle?! We're gonna register now and stuff! There were battling areas on the boat we came on! It was awesome! We won one, obviously!" The Zubat in question fluttered overhead; she recognised Ray too, then again, living in that cave, she'd grown used to seeing that human before Henrietta was even thinking about going there. She swooped down in a greeting, ahead of Henrietta, who was hurrying over too. Gummy, for once, seemed satisfied to stay where he'd found himself, next to a few of the others. He was busy, staring, well, just past Yuri's ice cream, putting the apparent object of his stare as Yuri's shoulder. His jaws snapped twice without changing his stare.

Rosie delighted with Sera's hug and explanation, rounding her shoulders and putting her own arms around her friend. "We were just about to, but then we spotted you guys." She looked from Sera to Luke with a smile.
[Everyone]
Before much more could be said however, there was an announcement from the stadium speakers "Competing trainers, please make your to the stadium field for Preliminary match ups. Competing trainers please make your way to the stadium field for Preliminary match ups"
Rosie straightened up quickly. "Oops, we better go get signed in, we'll see you guys at the field! Kiss Kiss!"
The Raichu blinked, looking up at Rosie, and with an affectionate nuzzle to Yuri's cheek she bounced off and hurried after Rosie who slowed once she got to Faleen.
[Henrietta, Sera]
"Hey that's you Hen." Ray noted with a gesture to her other hand in a 'shooing' motion, "Go, Go with Rosie and get signed up, and win that easy round. and you too!" She turned and pointed to Sera "Remember about not dawdling, otherwise you'll be waiting in a line forever to get your opponent, snap snap'

Ray had been one among those who had stood in the audience at the bleachers to watch the battles, intently watching with her arms crossed over the failing, and wishing she had the ability to watch more at once. It was the people she knew though that she was paying attention too. To her delight though, Sera, had not done badly at all, even winning her preliminary battle.
As more and more trainers filed out of the stadium Rayan lingered by the entrance, waiting for the trainers to come out, arms crossed over her chest, and a Zubat hanging from the sleeve of her jacket. His ears twitching at all of the noises being made from the busy event.
(Below is a post added for Kit <3)
"She lives in Kanto."
As Rosie said these words, a stranger milling about in a crowd not five feet away turned his head to glimpse her out the corner of his eye. So, that was Faleen's cover, was it? Had Rosie really not known that her sister had been dwelling in the same reigion as she had all this time?
Hands in his pockets, the red-eyed man hid his gaze behind a pair of dark shades, his attire a little more colorful than usual. It had been too risky to accompany Faleen as she interacted with the trainers, but at least this way he could keep a watch for his partner and have her back if needed.
In the meantime, the info broker enjoyed his favorite hobby of observing human beings. Mairu and Kururi, having earned a little leeway due to good behavior, were out of their pokeballs - Mairu at Izaya's heels and Kururi on his shoulder. He stroked his head absently now and then to at least give the apperence of an affectionate trainer.
In truth, however, he couldn't imagine why anyone would have wanted to bother with such a tedious affair as this tournament. He knew he certainly wasn't going to be participating, under cover or not.
"I'm going to assume that you're confusing your question."
Although Faleen had sounded like she had been faring well enough up until then, that particular snippet of conversation drew her partner's attention yet again. He made no move to indicate anything, but mentally he wanted desperately to warn her about her use of tone and language. Faleen's vernacular was sophisticated to the point of sounding almost like a computer to mose human beings and Izaya worried she would not be aware of this. After all, she probably conversed with more machinery than humans.
Almost holding his breath, he continued to listen, taking silent notes in his head to mention to her when he got the chance. Though most of the things might have been considered trivialities to anyone else, the way she had referred to training as 'that lifestyle' instead of 'my lifestyle' were small indicators that suspicious people like Izaya himself looked for. She might have already begun to give herself away.
Izaya forced himself to inhale deeply, exhaling slower as he tried to relax. He needed to trust Faleen. She knew her sister and, indeed, Rosie seemed to have complete and total confidence in her sister. More than that, she seemed to admire her. Once more the grunt wondered why the older sibling seemed to harbor such a deep dislike - possibly even hatred - for her younger sister. At least Luke's and Asch's dislike had been mutual for the most part.
When the preliminary match-ups were announced, he stood to the side with all the other spectators and watched with feigned interest, still lost as to how anyone could find interest in pitting their pets against one another. Sure, there was a certain degree of strategy involved, but that seemed more heavily dependant on the skill of the pokemon, not the strateigest.
While more than happy to avoid the ditry business of fighting himself, when his own pokemon didn't obey him, even at such relatively low levels, there wasn't much point or fun in developing strategy. All the while Izaya kept Faleen and the other trainers within range of his sight, not too close, but never straying too far. He wondered idly what they planned to do once all the preliminary matches had finally wrapped up.

Dove had also spent most of her day in the stands watching, quietly amazed at the amount of energy such a small event had. She had been delighted to watch familiar faces battle-- though a few she knew wouldn't care that she had cheered them on-- and in hindsight wished she had been brave enough to even try.
Now that the battles were over, the young woman kneeled close by the entrance as well, waiting for the others--or, Rosie and Henrietta, in her case, since she still wasn't sure where she stood with the others of the group yet-- to appear and attempting to pry a small, empty ice cream cup away from Lovey's teeth as the Eevee playfully evaded her efforts. With a playfully exasperated sigh, she scooped her up in her arms instead, then snatched the container from the pokemon with a little giggle before she addressed the gray haired woman beside her, hoping to make conversation now that the battles were over. "That was really something... I don't know that I've ever actively watched so many battles before..."
