P R O J E C T Jinx Jacob Griffin got to his feet as Ryan was slamming back first into the announce table. Jacob would threw a swift punch to Ryan's midsection trying to capitalize on the situation that was handed to him. If the punch landed then Jacob would try to turn Ryan around and bounce his face off the top of the announce table like a basketball and then toss him to the ground so he could work to take the top of the table off. Ryan was hit with everything and fell to the floor.

(I think Cyrus was targeting you with that Enziguri Kick, Brody, since he quoted you and not me at the end of his post. I'm not sure, just pointing that out. I would've posted sooner, but I was hoping to catch Cyrus on to confirm. I can see where his post was a little misleading.) Salem's sensational elbow drop over the ropes had managed to take the wind right out of AJ's lungs, incapacitating the technically-blessed veteran for a brief moment, giving Salem a second to evaluate his surroundings. In matches like these, one had to constantly be aware of everyone else in the match, and not get caught up in the likes of tunnel vision from being distracted with just one or two opponents. Otherwise, someone might just take advantage and climb the ladder without anyone realizing, as it appeared Brody was trying to attempt. Cyrus was already in hot pursuit, though, so Salem's attention turned back down towards AJ, still sprawled out at the bold rookie's feet. Reaching down, Salem would try to drag Warner over to the nearby ropes and drape his arms and head overtop the second rope. If successful, he'd then stand atop Warner's back, lifted at an inclined angle now, and try to grasp the top rope in his hands...pulling up while pushing himself down to attempt using the cables to initiate an improvised submission.

((I don't think I even got the notice for the quote, to be honest. Ah well, no harm, no foul.))
Back on his feet for just long enough to start thinking up a new plan, Brody had little time to react to Cyrus' sudden attack. Brody barely had enough time to move his head out of the way and his arm up to block, letting his forearm take the brunt of the force once again. His entire body turned with the hit, and he immediately brought his arm to his chest, trying to help with the throbbing pain that now ran through it. He started stretching out his hand, making sure it would still work while he kept an eye out for Cyrus' next move.

The Enziguri was blocked, with Cyrus quickly hitting the canvas. However, The Dream immediately bounced back to his feet, suddenly jumping up once again. This time the Dream was attempting to knock Brody off his feet with a dropkick.

Griffin picked the top of the announce up and raised it high above his head, dropping it down towards Ryan. He then ripped the monitors out of the table and tossed them to the sides. Jacob then turned his attention to the table that was laying across Ryan, slamming his foot down hard where Ryan laid under it trying to smash his opponent between the top of the table and the floor.

Griffin's next plan was to try and take Ryan out of this match for the moment so he could turn his attention to the people in the ring. Griffin grabbed the table and threw it off Ryan and immediately attempted to drag the smaller man to his feet. If this worked with out a hitch then Griffin would place Ryan's head between his legs and perform a move that he hasn't tried in a very long time. He would attempted to drive Ryan through the announce table with a simple Powerbomb. Griffin's plan was to leave Ryan in the wreckage of the table so he could go after the prize at the top of the ladder.

(2 day auto) The drop kick connected, sending Brody to the canvas. After taking Brody down, The Dream turned his attention on Salem, who was now trying to use the ropes to put AJ into a submission. Yeah, no. The Dream rushed over to help his partner, looking to start hammering away at Salem's back with club like blows.

(Lol. Yeah? Well, two can play at that game, Cyrus! = P ) [Two-day Auto]
AJ was too stunned from the previous elbow drop to fend Salem off, allowing the brave rookie to successfully drape his target's neck against the ropes while bowing the cables out to intensify the pain. This excruciating submission would only last a couple moments, however, as the other half of the "Bad Dream Team" came rushing in to save his partner. Ain't that sweet? Salem likely would have thought, were he not preoccupied with the pain shooting between his shoulderblades from Cyrus' thumping fists. Instead, the Charismatic Calamity could only gasp in surprised anguish as his nemesis struck him from behind, forcing Salem's full weight down onto AJ's throat before the lad fell down off of the injured Warner.

(Just trying to move it along, like a boss Dream) The Dream finally got his first shot off on the Charismatic Calamity, something he had waited for way too long. A surge of adrenalin fired off in Cyrus and he began throwing lefts and rights at the man with the spare change as soon as he fell off of the Bad Chyld.

Salem was in a bad place - after having gained the upper-hand against AJ, he was being forced to contend with his irate partner, Cyrus "The Dream" Leone. The two had quite a sorted history, themselves, and though it had been planned for the pair to settle their differences in a Barbed Wire match, circumstances had changed which put the two of them in MITB, instead. Despite this, Salem had no less of an interest in beating down Cyrus after their intense rivalry up until now, but there wasn't anything he could do with his former manager trying to lean down and throw haymakers at him. Grabbing the bottom rope, Salem quickly tried to slip out of the ring for safety, taking advantage of his ring awareness to momentarily stall Cyrus' attack.
