a loose approach is best.
i am new to the guild so i assumed my name lacked rping credential among the regulars.
seeing more material than what i outlined may look more attractive to drawing players.
some other gm's have really filled out main pages for their rps and i didn't feel like overdoing the introduction story, like history and world.
im leaving up vague details about the world and its events to players.
thus the mentioning of nightmare in the premise.
it's a zombie apocalypse. it doesn't have to make a whole lot of picturesque sense.

In the prelude, I can have Pierrot smashing his original mask into a guards face...
The only other person to have seen Pierrot's face, aside from himself and his lovely Columbine, was an unfortunate guard. Now, not a thing could be seen from those eyes...
...because PORCELAIN SHARDS protruded from them.

If that's not a ninja-stealth-move then the ringmaster would yell all loud: "WHAAT? WHAAT LEWD DID HE SAY ABOUT MY FRIEND'S MOTHER?"
Or actually more like: "THE GUARD'S GONE POSTAL! STOP HIM BEFORE HE---thank goodness, my hero. Pierrot's saved us all ladies and gentlemen." Lolz~! I'll think of something when I see that post!

Cause he likes the gnawing pain of hunger.
So now he has a Hannibal Lechter-esque mask and his restrained because he had a biting problem without his mask.

Behind the scenes! He can headbutt a guy and drag the remaining guard down who notices the guns being swiped! My next post can be all like "Weren't there more guards earlier?" They'll saunter in all casual like it's CAANDY TIME!

And they find Pierrot with a fancy pants gas mask with two chilled beers in one hand and a backpack full of canned food. A muffled "oh" and hands them the backpack.
