Miki had been listening outside his door and wondered what he meant. SHe then came into the room and said "Knew what big brother?" She asked looking sad. She wanted him to be happy but didn't want him to keep secrets from her. They had always told each other everything. She hated when he did that. It made her feel like she didn't matter to him.

Miki put her ears back when he wasn't looking. He never had a problem when she didn't knock before. She then walked behind him sitting on the couch. SHe wasn't hungry now. She never ate when she was upset about something or if she was hurting in some way. When she was little she had gotten a scar that still hurt sometimes during cold nights and rainy days on her eye. It was looking like it was going to rain and it was winter so she knew it would look like her scar was hurting her. She wound up in the hospital because of the wound when her accident happened. Their aunt was watching her and was driving when they got into an accident when she was 9 years old. She was thinking that Dust was starting to grow apart from her. It was causing her heart to ache badly. She went to her room when their parents got home. She didn't want to go anywhere. They offered to take them out to eat but Miki, who usually loved to eat out, said nothing and went to her room and locked her door. SHe laid in her bed hugging the very blanket that Dust gave her for her 5th birthday. The white and pink blanket with black lettering was a bit dinged, but to her it was special. She snuggled with it hoping it would help her feel better.

Dust told their parents that Miki almost found out the secret they keot from her about being adopted and also that fact he had feelings for her, all they had to say was for him to spend time with her tomarrow and take her wherever she wants to go

The next morning, MIki wouldn't come out of her room. The curtains were closed and her wings were wrapped around her like they normally did when she was upset or hurt. They were like a white fluffy cocoon. She was awake but didn't want anything to eat or drink. Her mother was worried about her. Miki had been crying all night, thinking that Dust was acting strange around her and that they had been growing apart over the years. She had feelings for him but......she was thinking of running away, finding a new life somewhere else where someone would love her.

Their mom rushed Dust to take Miki out so she could have fun, walking into her room Dust sits next to Miki and pets her head "Hey Miki, i'm free all day so I wanted to know if you wanna go anywhere with me?"

But there was no answer. Miki stayed wrapped in her wings. She felt so hurt that she didn't want to do anything. She would not admit it, but she was depressed and no one seemed to realize why. Until they figured it out, she decided she wouldn't come out of her wings. They had discovered she was half Angel after finding out her parents were killed two years after they had gotten her. She felt like everyone hated her since almost everyone looked down on her except her family. Every time she would try to have fun something would happen to make the other person cancel. This was the last straw for her. She'd had enough. She had the blanket in her hands as she silently cried inside of her wings. She felt everything was falling around her, even her relationship with Dust. She'd tried to make her feelings clear but, he had no idea that she wanted to be with him and only him.

Dust staid in Miki's room and some times sleep with her, he was getting worried about her, soon Dust was tired of Miki staying in her room, walking up to her he picks Miki up and carries her in his arms. Dust took Miki out of her room and outside

Miki's wings stayed around her. She didn't know what was going on when Dust picked her up and brought her outside. She opened her wings a bit and was blinded by the sun. Miki wasn't happy and didn't want to be outside. She started to wiggle in Dust's arms saying "I don't want to do anything Dust!" She was still depressed.

Miki refused to come out of her wings though. She would usually be jumping up and down by now but what she wanted, she thought was out of her reach. She hugged the blanket she had with her. 'As soon as they stop for a bathroom break, I'm leaving.' She thought to herself. She wasn't wanting to be with the family. She wanted Dust to be with her but thought that he was growing apart from her. Little did she know, that she was harboring a powerful being inside of her heart that was growing at an alarming rate. No one knew this but there was a legend that a being who was born of the northern wind and pure water would come back, and that depending on that person's heart at the time this being is born, will determine whether it will be good or bad. Once they stopped, and everyone went to the bathroom, miki pretended that she had to go, climbed out of the bathroom window when no one was looking and flew towards the mountains. She made sure not to be seen by her family. She had tears in her eyes and her wings were darkened on the inside due to her being upset. They looked white on the outside but once she opened them, they were black as night. But then she landed by a lake that was nearby and sat there. Something was happening to her. Her eyes had changed colors and then she started to shift into her animal form for the first time since she was born. She growled as she let out a roar. It could be heard all the way at the stop station. But then she began to run back the way she came hearing something calling to her. Her eyes looked lonely and sad but her body was completely changed. She was running at speeds like that of a race car in full speed but at the same time her body moved gracefully like the wind.

Miki's new form came with a wind that would cause even a car to flip over. She ran passed Dust like a tornado and looked at him as she ran past him. She was running towards the direction they were headed in. A little ways down the road there was a shrine, a shrine to the very being she was, the being of the north wind.

For a split secant Dust thought what ran pass by was Miki, he wasn't sure but ends up running after her
