"Yeah" She agreed with a soft smile, it wasn't even close to the worse thing that could happen today.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It certainly wasn't the most idea outfit to be moving around in the woods, but Kyle could at least add a notch to the list of things he's done awesomely in a suit. He had time to consider what his game plan was on the way, he wasn't considering the girl to be a threat, but if she had pokemon, then they might get in the way, or take up some of his time while he incapacitated them.
Cybil was the most stealthy and quick moving of the two, and thus took to scouting ahead for the mark that their trainer was hunting. By the time the other two caught up with her she was already eying the opportunities, but with ah and laying on her head she eased back to give him the first move.
After taking a second to silently relay where he wanted them to go, he set his eyes on the red head, a blaze of anger in his eyes, and a wicked gratefulness that the idiot was now distracted.
Kyle was the first to move, taking only a moment to get himself into a clear light toward the trainer, before he was out in the open, coat rustling as his pokemon streaked out behind him, the wild snapping of the Sylveon's ribbons as the evelution advanced on to its fire brethren to keep it occupied, while one Kyle's arm had made an attempt shot wound Luke's neck to put him into a hold, his other hand taking Luke's wrist that was closest to the sword hilt to pull it back, so that any given pressure could better control the man.
It all depended on that move being successful, one he had control, he could take his sweet time.
As he predicted, the girl acted first in shock and panic, staggering back from the force of Kyle's intrusion and reaching for her belt. Kyle smirked as Cybil was on it, and with a force to drag the girl off of her feet, grabbed her forearm into her jaws to keep her hand under control.
He didn't expect Luke to go down without a fight, but that was precisely why he had a hold of his other wrist. Upon the attempt at biting from the other man Kyle twisted Luke's arm and jerked it up to try and gain a better control of the trainer.
"What-!" It was short lived though, as Kyle glanced up in time to find a fire type attacking him.
The Sylveon looked nearly as baffled as the Rocket did, that he went completely ignored not only personally insulted him, but was bad enough that his human was being attacked. The sylveon tried to jump into help but by the time he got moving it was already too late. Kyle jerked back to avoid getting his arm bitten by the Flareon, putting more pressure on Luke's hand to force him on the Floor, Kyle made a new attempt to move out of the Flareon's way and kick at it. "What are you doing?! Get on this!" He snapped at his Sylveon. He couldn't handle both these freaks at once.
The skin wasn't broken, but there was enough pressure for Rosie to tell that if she didn't have the gloves on over her forearm that she would be in a lot more trouble. The shock of the sudden situation had yet to catch up with her, one arm holding desperately to the sleeping Jirachi while her other was being wrestled away from her by a massive dark type. Yellow eyes bore down on Rosie as the owner of the fangs shook herself and jerked Rosie forward again, the smaller girl had no choice but to be dragged along with a small yelp. In the confusion, while Rosie was only able to hear the sound of her own heart beat in her ears, and the smell of the Absol's breath between her teeth, she saw that Luke and Mieu were dealing with their own struggles.
"Stop stop stop." Rosie breathed in panic, trying to pull her arm away, but was met with the tighter clenches of the Absol's jaws. Rosie once against attempted to stand but with a vicious shake of the Absol's head was once again thrown onto the ground with a wide shake of the Absol's head.
Close to the confrontation between Rosie and the Absol, a yellow Sylveon suddenly appeared, bearing a white, star-shaped mark upon its forehead as it stood, faintly trembling, to face the Absol that attacked his trainer's companion. Situations like this were terrifying to Lorelei, but his inaction last time had had terrible consequences. As long as he had a type advantage, he thought that maybe... possibly... he might be able to fight a little... hopefully. The Sylveon's copper eyes were wide and fearful as it made its attack against the dark-type.
Luke had little choice but to yield, the pressure at his wrist disabling him from most courses of action, gritting his teeth and reaching up with his free hand to try to tear away the arm around his neck. He'd managed to fight back under worse conditions; he was far from submission now, especially with his Flareon at his side.
Mieu, just as unlikely to submit as his trainer, jumped back away from the kick and reared back his head, releasing a searing Flamethrower from his maw at their human attacker.
Cybil wasn't expecting another to join the battle, she hadn't been aware of a third pokemon out. from the corner of her eye the pokemon caught her attention, yellow eyes widened as she stared at the new Sylveon, though her jaws did not release the girl.
Rosie, having to drop the Jirachi into her lap reached up to grab a hold of the Absol's horn, the pain shooting through her arms as the glove began to tear. she too noticed the new pokemon. "Lorelei-" It was a pokemon that she knew was usually around, but very rarely showed himself, she had a sense of relief and surprise to see him now.
Obviously threatened by the type choice, Cybil jerked the girl around more, trying to take her hand off of her horn and put her between the new Sylveon. the movement nearly knocking Northern onto the ground, Where Rosie quickly gathered her back up. Oh Northern wake up soon- This is a really bad time!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Before The Sylveon could get a handle on the situation, Kyle would find himself facing down a wall of fire. "What the hell-" He barked and just barely ducked out of the way, wide eyes staring back at the fire type, trying to move away from it as his Sylveon dived in to divert the pokemon's attention again.

A whip to the eyes was not exactly expected, as the Absol was fully expecting to get the Sylveon to back of it she threatened more harm to the human. But with a sudden searing pain jerking through its eyes from the sharp snap of fine ribbons, and the momentary loss of vision, the Absol yelped, giving Rosie enough time to free her arm and jerk away as quickly as she could. Trying to gain enough distance between her, and the dark type.
Half blinded and furious Cybil shook her head, trying to clear her vision before she bounded at the Sylveon.
"Pop! Jump kick!" The popping of an opening pokeball sounded over the charging Absol, and out of no where a glistening brown and pink form slammed into the ground feet first right on top of the dark type that gave a strangled yelp. Pink over black eyes lifted a soft curious frown to Lorelei, only to leap back off as the Absol struggled to get up again.

Whatever action his Sylveon desperately took to stop the Flareon were completely sidestepped and ignored as the fire type continued to go after Kyle. there was literally nothing stopping this pokemon from ripping him apart if it so chose, and Kyle knew right now that he was out of options. The girl got free before he could threaten anyone more with Luke's safety, his pokemon had completely lost the handle on their subjects and now Luke was free from Kyle's control. The tall Rocket staggered back with a desperation for his very life, all the while scrambling for something in his pocket.
It wasn't till he tripped on an outreaching root from one of the ancient trees that Kyle found himself with no where to run. "BACK OFF!" His cry was joined with a swing of his arm, having yanked his hand from his pocket, and a black glossy ball flew from his fingers at the Flareon advancing on him.

Lorelei was pleasantly surprised to find that his efforts paid off, though as a competent fighter joined the fray, he was content to remove himself from the battle and move to Rosie's side, ducking behind her legs with a shuddering breath. He really wasn't used to participating in this sort of thing, as often as he observed it.
As Rosie took control of her side of the situation and Luke regained his footing and successfully bared his steel once more, he understood that the conditions had turned to their favor. Rosie had already called for the police, so the next step was restraint. A hand went to his side, to his Jolteon's pokeball, as he gave his orders to the still hostile Flareon, "Mieu, that's enough--"
Mieu didn't mind stopping his assault once his trainer was free, but he remained in an aggressive posture, growling, daring the bested man to make another move. Luke thought little of the apparently harmless object that bounced from the fire-type's forehead where it struck - until said fire-type was drawn into it, quickly identifying the object and its function.
Luke froze, staring, understanding the nature of what had happened but nonetheless disbelieving of it, as the black pokeball shook from its occupant's resistance and eventually quieted.

A competent fighter with a vengeance. long ears billowing with the speed of the Lopunny's movement, edged on by the Agility that she pushed herself through, taking moments to stop as a fray of fishes rained down at the Absol with a fury that the Lopunny excelled at , despite her trainers calming techniques.
Rosie, lowered herself onto one knee as Lorelei came over, putting a reassuring hand on the pokemon's head, though with great gratitude to his aid.
Rosie was relived to see that Luke was out of the Rocket's grip, and was arming up. When something unexpected happened. Mieu vanished.
Rosie blinked, staring at where the Flareon had gone, and only barely noticing the black ball, chillingly familiar, quivering on the ground. Rosie let out a horrified gasp, and found her feet again. "NO!"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Kyle remained where he sat, his eyes wide with a surprise expression, giving note that he probably didn't really expect that to... work. He had heard about these dark ball things, not many people had them becasue he heard they were not for the faint of heart, and were generally more trouble then they were worth. but hell! What the hell were those idiots talking about!?
Kyle laughed, pushing himself back onto his feet and hurrying over to snatch the ball up. his laughter continuing. "Well look at that!" he chuckled. "Now guess who's in my control." with a flick of the wrist he released the flareon back out of the dark ball.
