Dimitri paused for a moment and brought his hand under his chin to think about telling this stranger. He soon brushed his hair out of his face and gazed at renier with his crimson eyes and flashed a toothy smile. The smile faded quickly though; dimitri wasn't one for faking those.

I might not be human. You sort of helped me...I was feeling a bit....malnourished and the cooking distracted me. I do need to get something to drink though.....

Renier blushed a little, though looked a bit saddened as well because the thought of meeting a sharkman seemed so much cooler.

well then, in that case, why not have some of my blood? it's mostly human, with just a splash of angel and demon mixed in. provide a glass and i shall fill it for you.

Renier pulled out a roll of bandages and one of the knives on the table.

nope, scared shitless actually...
with a moments hesitation he stabbed the bladed into his left wrist and and cut down the vein about an inch.

the blood gushed out of the wound as the vein had been cut open, he held his wrist above the cup and let it fill.

he spoke through gritted teeth.
nope, didn't hurt in the slightest... he lied.

after the cup began to run over, he quickly bandaged his wrist tightly.
give it about 15 minutes and it'll be fine, now please, while it's still warm. he gestured to the cup.

feeling a little woozy... he thought as he sat down and took a large bite of the boar.

Dimitri's eyes widened as renier stabbed himself and he held himself back from sinking his teeth into renier's flesh. As the blood filled the cup dimitri licked his lips, completely on accident. He nearly immediately chugged the cup of blood quite animalistically. A trail of renier's blood went down dimitri's face, but dimitri was sure to drink every last drop. He gazed as renier's wrist thinking about how he could really go for some more but he would try not to be selfish. He tossed renier some chocolate

for a bit of energy.

He let out a large relieved sigh and cleaned up any blood that had fallen onto the counter of the floor.

You are something....never had blood like that before....you're lucky i'm an old vampire otherwise i might have gotten a bit addicted.

he smirked, he wasn't trying to freak renier out it was only he truth

Renier devoured the chocolate in a few, quick bites before focusing back on the boar.

thanks, i'd offer seconds, but i think i might pass out from blood loss.

he took several large bites of the boar meat in from of him.

while my time here has only been a few years, it's actually been nice being able to find others that don't fear or attack you on first sight. i mean, yeah, theres the aggregation, but this place is the first time i've felt like i can talk to people again after i left my home 6 years ago...

he sighed.
Well, when i was excommunicated, word got out that i had demon and angel blood in my veins, and humans tend to react in fear and anger against what they don't understand. that along with the fact that demons hated my angel blood and angels despised my demon blood, i wasn't exactly popular in my travels. i was only lucky enough that this town was distant enough from the parish that word had never reached of who or what i was, it was thankfully, a second chance for me on that account.

Renier finished off the last of his boar meat and started eying the portion that Dimitri had wanted him to keep.
