"Great, out of all the females in the Village, we get the moody one. Wonderous!" Raphael said to Grey as an explosion went off in the distance followed by screaming of war. "Sensei, something is going on in the village. Do you think its the Barbarians attacking?" He asked as he went over to grab his supplies. "We must move to intercept. You there!" He said as he pointed over to the genin watching their battle. "Go warn the Amekage about the gates, NOW!" He ordered as he took off towards the gates.

Michael heard the screams from the gates and then the worse sound of them all, the cries of children. Before the other genin even gave him his orders he was gone in a flash of lightning, heading to intercept the gates.

With the sudden shouting and the sound of bells Setsuko lost count and clenched her fist. Drawing her kunia she repeatedly stabbed the millipede. "Damn it, damn it, damn it..." All that was left of her little torture buddy was few twitching limbs and a smear. Getting to her feet Setsuko cocked her ears and listened. On the wind she could hear the sounds of screaming, how wonderful. Giggling a little she ran towards the gate, if she was lucky she might be able to maim a real person.

Escher was standing in the middle of the field, letting the light rain of the day cover him. He was going to go to the Kage's speech but he though it would be better to spend his time training. After the massacre 3 years ago, Escher did not very much like the idea of losing and the speech, to him, was just a reminder of that. But one thing is for sure, he definitely did not like the shogunate taking over the way they did. Even now, Escher could feel the stares of the stationed guards on him. He hated it. It felt like they were trapped. Of course, he liked that they saved him and the rest of the Ame ninja, but in the end it just felt as though they took advantage of the fact.
The young ninja had his eyes closed, as he took a deep breath and attempted to center himself. He was going to continue to learn what powers his eyes held. He opened his eyes and walked towards a nearby tree. When he got to it, he reach out and touched it. In doing so, he felt the lifeforce of the tree. Escher as he pulled away, he felt a tug from the tree, as if he was taking something from it. Escher looked at his hand and back to the tree. It was here that he got an idea. He placed his hand back on the tree and focused his chakra to his hand. He felt as though he was connected to the tree. Once he felt that connection, he pulled away with the intention to pull. There was a tug and then...nothing. He felt nothing from the tree. (2/3)
Escher placed his hand back on the tree once more. He built up the focus that he had the first two time and then went even farther. He felt his eye pulse slightly and smiled. He pulled from the tree, slower this time, and with it he felt the tree give way. He took the chakra from the tree and felt it flow within to himself, recovering the chakra lose with this ability. Escher was not satisfied, he had to learn more about what he could do, even if that means learning at a learn that is beyond him.

Escher took a step back from the tree. He felt confident in learning a new ability but he decided that now he was going to take a break. He wanted to go around and check on the rest of the ninja of the village to see how they were holding up. He turned towards the path heading towards the village, heading to the bar as he first step before going to the Kage's office.

Raphael arrived at the training grounds at his secret spot. It wasn't that big of a secret just a different, deeper location within the training grounds that he had been going to for the last three years now. In this open space, Raphael used his chakra to form clouds within the sky pushing the rain clouds away from his area as he had done so many times before. With the rain out of the way, he was free to train without the additional water powering his techniques.
Using the electricity stored within his body, Raphael channeled it throughout his body. An easy feat for him as a Raiken to do. He continued by causing his body to light up like a light bulb. After of which, he would begin to fluctuate the flow of the raiton chakra to make him flicker.
He absorbed it back into his body as he then took a balanced stance he placed his hands together in front of him. As he focused a little of the raiton stored within him to his hands and then to each one of his fingertips. He drew his hands apart as static strings appeared between them and then dissipated.
Next, using the rest of the stored raiton, Raphael formed handsigns and created before him a lightning clone. Allowing the remaining chakra stored within his core to flow up into his hands and out into the space in front of him. This lightning shot forth and took the form of Raphael just before he released it. With that training out of the way for the momentary, Raphael could now focus on his universal training to make him a better ninja than just an attack dog mercenary.

Kirito followed suit behind the chunnin. He honestly had no idea what he was doing or what they wanted from him. He woke up and his parents told him he was supposed to report to the Amekage who turned out to be insane and ended up dismissing him haphazardly when some random person walked in only for him to go off with another guy. Like always he waited quietly for his orders.
Masato arrived at the training grounds within a timely fashion, arriving just mere moments before his acquaintance. Turning to face the male he gave a nod of approval. ❝Nice, you made it here rather quickly. I think it's time we go from acquaintances to friends, and the first step in that is to take you into my squad, and then teach you some of our bloodline techniques as a way of putting something into this friendship. That and we are going on a mission after I teach you a few things haha..❞ Welp, that was a rather winded and awkward explanation for the reason he called the male out here. Continuing his lengthy so far one sided conversation, ❝Herm.. I guess we should start with the basics. This technique is called the Hakke Kuushou. Basically by extending chakra from your body, you will thrust your palm at whoever your target may be. This will send out an invisible wave of chakra that can knock said opponent away from you. It is unknown if this wave can also collapse their tenketsu points, I have yet to try. Anywho, it looks a little something like this.❞ Masato took a step back with his right leg and lower his right fist to his side while stretching out his left palm to face Kirito. With a sharp inhale, he would step forward with his right leg and then rapid switch his arms locations, thrust his right palm forward and bringing his left hand to his side in a fist. This action resulted in a large blast of wind rushing towards Kirito, but by the time it hit him it was weakened enough so that it wouldn't force him away, the attack obviously being held back by Masato for demonstration purposes. ❝Get it? Oh, did it close any of your points by the way?❞

Kirito was not part of the hyuuga clan and possessed no scrolls on hyuuga clan teachings so any attempt to learn the techniques of his bloodline were ultimately a failure. The man would become a very useful ally. On the friendship bit, however, Kirito wasn't very confident. People didn't remember Kirito. He was not supposed to be remembered. So naturally forming bonds with other came as a trial. "I look forward to it. My name is Yurei, Kirito." He replied bowing his head slightly. The man would then begin to explain to him the essentials of a hyuuga clan technique. Kirito was not an above average or prodigious student, but he was a very good learner. He listened to the techniques description and thought about the similiarity to his own clans techniques. When the technique actually hit him he threw up his arms to cover himself. His indifferent expression hid his true excitement. "Very...interesting...No, no, I'm fine." He told the man combing his hair with his hand. Now it was Kirito's turn to try it out. Taking a deep breath like his 'sensei' did the boy set his himself up in a similar fashion. He could feel power surging through him. His right arm pulsating. Is this the power of the Hyuuga? He thought to himself feeling exhilarated. He thrust his arm with the fury of a thousand suns with the intention of sending asunder the temple of illusions of which Amekage built itself upon in one single blast of wind. They would call the day, "The Day When Kirito Awoke." And absolutely nothing happened. Even Kirito's punch was off. "Oh dear..." He mumbled in the stance.
Raphael moved over to his ninja pack filled with the common ninja tools of the trade. Within it, he pulled forth a rope and a lock to train with. Tying the knot, he held it within his hands as he concentrated chakra into his hands and then towards the knot. Using the chakra, he untied the knot. Next he did the same with the lock. He placed his left hand onto the lock and focused his chakra into his hand and then out onto the lock and into it. Channeling the chakra into the lock deep into the mechanisms that control the unlocking sequence and cause them to move releasing the pin locking mechanisms one by one until it popped open.

Masato was glad to hear that his attack hadn't disrupted any of Kirito's tenketsu points. Or rather, he was torn between being glad at the fact he hadn't harmed his newfound friend, yet sad that the attack didn't have the crucial effect he has hoping for. But then again, perhaps it did? Maybe if he didn't hold back, then the full powered version would be strong enough to shut off tenketsu points? This he would have to experiment on later, but for now, back to training. Dark orbs watched as the man mimicked the stance that he had taken. The stance was perfect, and based off that fact alone that he was able to copy the stance so well, he just assumed that Kirito would learn the technique no problem if not get it in the first go. In truth, he was hoping he would get it in the first go; in retrospect however that would have made Masato a little jealous, jealous at the fact that his friend could master that technique in one go which took him several as a child with his mother teaching him. Believing in all the hype that he had built up himself, the look on his face as nothing came forth from Kirito as he launched the technique was priceless.
He looked dumbfounded, making a face so lifeless and blank yet so thoroughly confused as if seeing an alien for the first time, or the ever so popular Saitama meme the kids were all hypes about these days, the famous "Ok" face. Next came Kirito's own surprise, his words ever so full of wisdom and seemed to fit the situation oh so perfectly. Masato would blink once and then close his eyes before raising a hand to pinch at the bridge of his nose, taking a deep inhale before slowly releasing the built up air as if calming himself down. ❝Oh dear would be correct..❞ The eighteen year old male would lower his hand from his nose to his cheek and give it a scratch as if lost in thought and the act of scratching his cheek would suddenly cause him to have an epiphany. ❝Welp.. I uh.. I don't know what to say. Did you channel your chakra properly? How hard did you force it away from you?❞ At this point he was just grasping at potential ideas as to why it didn't work. ❝Ah, silly question, but do you know how to activate your Byakugan? Probably should have asked this first but.. yeah.❞

Kirito looked at Masato while he tried to come up with an explanation for his failure when the answer was obvious, to Kirito at least. It was the first time he ever attempted something like that so it was normal for him to be a little bit awkward in the beginning. His void expression not giving off a hint of what the boy was actually feeling or thinking. "I channeled my chakra correctly and forced it away, but it is an odd concept for me to release my chakra in such a form and that is what blocked me from performing the technique, but I now see what needs to be done." His clan revolved around releasing unrefined chakra in order to confuse their enemies and now Kirito would have to learn to refine that same chakra. The boy got back into the techniques stance and took a deep breathe again, but before he could try, Masato asked him something. "Why f course." With that said veins bulged on his face spreading out from his white eyes. "I assume this is what what you mean? I could be mistaken, however. My knowledge on my bloodline is limited." With that said the boy performed the technique. Blasts of pressure release from his arms with each strike he performed. The noise they made were soothing to Kirito.

Escher returned to the training grounds after his time at the bar. Still thinking about the conversation Korrin and him had about his parents. He looked around and saw quite a few people here. He turned slightly and saw two people who seemed to be fromt he Hyuuga clan, he could tell from the way they were moving. One was practicing move with his Byakugan. Escher walked over to the two and spoke. "That seem pretty relaxing." He said as stopped before the two. "My name is Escher Nagino. Nice to meet you." He wanted to try to get to know the people of this village, especially now that this was apart of it after what happened three years. He need to make comrades for the long term, people to have his back when its' against the wall.
