Entering the Kazekage's Office felt like a complete culture shock. The floors, the walls, the whole village for that matter, were built up of compressed sand. It was fascinating to see how durable sand could be. Arriving at the door of the Kazekage's Office she took a deep breath in an attempt to calm her nerves. Still very tired after what happened in the last 72 hours (rough gauge of time) she pushed the door open softly to find the Shogun waiting.
"Madame Toshiko?" Shikayumi said in surprise. Yumi Sensei had introduced them to each other in Konoha a while ago; back when she was still a pupil of Lord Hokage. "It's so good to see you again." Shikayumi bowed to her superior as she presented a very fatigued smile. Shikayumi stood before Madame Toshiko wearing a tattered Leaf vest; clearly revealing that she was in some sort of firefight before arriving in the Sand Village.

She was pleasantly surprised to see a shinobi she had seen in the Hokage's office what seemed like months before."To what do I owe the pleasure of having a leaf shinobi in my office?"Slowly, her eyes drifted to the tattered uniform, and overall ragged appearance the girl had. "Madame Toshiko, something has gone terribly wrong in the Leaf. Yumi-sensei, among many of my squad mates have been betrayed by the Shogun of the Leaf." Seeming a bit flustered, she did her best to get the key facts out there. "They called themselves the Kech Marah; a group of high class shinobi who seem to be taking orders from our Shogun. There were others that I recognized. One was a Mist village shinobi who manipulated metal; the one that replaced the previous Mizukage. Another being my boy- my squad mate, Mitsutada; an extremely talented swordsman."
Shikayumi was feeling the drag from fatigue, but she knew that the sooner she could present this intel, the quicker they could prepare countermeasures. "Their sole purpose is to collect the tailed beast, and the Jinchuriki that come with them. My teammate surrendered himself to them in order to stop the bloodshed, and killed one of my good friends regardless." She lowered her head out of shame. "After I deal with Mitsu, I'm going after him." The nara girl placed a heavy burden on her shoulders; one that would take some heavy training, and serious focus.
The balcony door would open, as a teen would step into the office. The boy wielded a sheathed sword crafted by his father, who was the kazekage. The teenager had blue eyes and white hair, he looked as if he was the opposite of his father, and his brother Gabriel, looks like the reborn Kazekage himself. "Hello there, How are you two, I'm sorry for over hearing on your problems, but i came here hoping to help, or at least to receive a mission, What would you rather lady Toshiko." The boy spoke in a masculine voice, Obviously taking after his ancestors. He bowed his head showing his respect to lady toshiko, and bowed to Shikayumi showing his respect to her.

Note: Shikayumi, I hope this note as found you and if it has I shall be there momentarily. I have followed you all the way from the leaf village, I found the poor defenseless tree you attacked and then absorbed it of all its water. I have also erased your trail so no one can track us. Yumi has vanished off to Rikudou knows were, but I believe he is okay, but the leaf is no longer friendly territory right now for either of us. It would best if we stayed away for a while. I shall arrive soon.
Magnus flew high above the sand village at a height of which his paper sheet looked like a white cloud in the sky floating and drifted over the village. He pulled forth a pieces of paper and wrote a note onto it. It formed into a paper butterfly after he was done. "Fine, Shikayumi and give her this note. After you have found here, I would have found you and will be there." He said as if the butterfly could understand him. Or maybe it could after all it was an extension of his will. The paper butterfly flew down and about the village searching and headed for the biggest building in the center first. Flying in through a window seeing as most sand village buildings didn't have window panes, thank god for that, it was easy to get in and find his cousin. The note reached her and rested on her nose in front of her face flapping slightly like a real butterfly would.
After reading the note, Magnus would pin point her location and descend from the sky through the window and into a tuck and roll next to his cousin. He looked up and took note the person before him. He stayed down and kneeled. "Magnus Vain Nara, Weapons' Specialist, inventor, and 'The Origami Phantom' of the Hidden Leaf. It is a pleasure to meet you, Madame. I followed my clan head and cousin here." He said as he then stood up. He also looked over to the other shinobi in the room and the sword at his side. From his stance and the way he carried himself, Magnus instantly pegged him as a kindred spirit in the way of the Sword.

Where once a single leaf ninja had stood, now stood two, and another sand shinobi. It seemed her office was going to need to be expanded if people were going to keep flooding in like this. The news that Shikayumi brought with her was very troubling, and she knew who most of them were. It seemed that what Cecil had hinted at was true."The metal user you referred to is Kya Jaeger, former Kusakage, now Mizukage. As for the gang of thugs you spoke of, I know only of their existence. The fact they are gathering demons is new to me."Now what to do about the sudden influx of shinobi?"As of right now, you are all going to be part of a special operations squad. You will be the intelligence branch of a new section of the Sand Military Forces. This new branch will be called S.T.In.G. - Special Tactics and Intelligence Gathering. Your first mission is to infiltrate the Leaf Village using what contacts you have left in the village. Raphael was very confused, What the hell? if we got promoted why was he being promoted to the same rank? "lady Toshiko, i was already a Chuunin.......-sigh- i wont fail." He said, not in his normal and proud voice, but in a slight and lower tone of confused, and a dash of, Seriously? The boy literally just got promoted to the rank he was already was. If she knew his name? how did she not know his rank? Yet a ninja we probably can't trust is here getting promoted to a higher rank. The boy leaned against the balcony door way, paying more attention to the outside then what was going on currently.
Magnus stood. "Understood, and I thank you for bring us into your village. We are supporters of Yumi, yes, but traitors I don't think has been pin-pointed out yet. infiltration should go smoothly at this present time, I do believe." Magnus said as he walked over to Raphael and held out his hand. "Nice to meet you, Raphael, it would appear that we will be working together. I hope we could get along handsomely in the future. Also, wanted to note that though me and my cousin are both Nara, our tactics differ from time to time meaning you will benefit from both play style with us. She is stronger, but I am faster. Ask me anything that comes to mind in our travels and time together." He said with a friendly smile.

Shikayumi felt the flutter of paper wings breeze by her ears as a butterfly promptly landed on her nose; promptly followed by his entrance into the Office. She had barely gotten through the first two sentences of his letter. She gazed at him with astonishing glee as she placed both her hands on his shoulders. Like a mother, she ran her hands across his face, and shoulders, looking for any physical damage. Upon a quick inspection she pulled him in close for hug. "I was afraid that I might have lost you, knucklehead."
Although being reunited with her family was a complete joy, she had to remember where she was, and that she should not waste the time of her superiors. Letting her cousin return to attention, she would follow suit as she listened to Madame Toshiko's plan. It all seemed like a viable plan, providing they could conceal their identity. However, her promotion to Sannin was a drastic surprise. She didn't address her concern to the public, but the expression on Shikayumi's face would show some concern. She had never led an operation like this in her lifetime, and now she did not have Mitsutada to rely on.
"Yes, I understand what you're asking of me," Her reply was calm, and collected, as she would begin to formulate a plan. As her newly appointed team acknowledged what needed to be done, Shikayumi would ask the two to wait outside momentarily so that she could talk to Toshiko briefly in private. "Madame Toshiko. I don't know how much credibility my words have here, but I must insist that we move any Jinchuriki you have within your possession to a safe, secure, remote location out of the Kech Marah's reach." She would follow up by revealing some collected intel that the Leaf had on the Sand Village. "Our records showed that you were once in possession of a tailed beast without a host; this...Shukaku. If we can find him, and seal him away, that could also give us leverage against the organization." Shikayumi would wait for Toshiko's responce before leaving. Either way, she would respond by bowing to her superior, and stating. "Just my observation, Madame Toshiko."
Once outside the office, she would address her newly appointed team. "Alrght, before we head back to the Leaf, I propose we take the next 36 hours to collect ourselves, resupply, and formulate a plan." She would then to the native Sand ninja. "We'll need time to get acquainted if we are to understand each other in the field." She wanted to know more about his combat experience, his technique, and positioning on a team.
She didn't even make an attempt to fix the mistake, even after he brought it up, Seriously? He moved his eyes to the Origami man and moved his head completely. Raphael's expression was blank. He kept his left hand inactive and his right hand holding the blade. "..." He said not one word since toshiko Announced his rank wrong. Yet two other foreign Shinobi are trusted into a higher rank. The entrusted sannin explained they're need to understand each other's fighting style. He turned and began exiting the kazekage's building. "Thats not necessary. My fighting style is pretty basic, If you need me, or were starting i'll be at the training grounds." He said as he exited the building, Still not amused about what happened. ((exit))

Lars took a single step into the Kazekage's Office, but then noticed an abundance of leaf shinobi and turned to "NOPE.jpg" himself out of there. He wasn't a rogue or traitor or anything, but then people were going to ask questions about why he didn't do anything back in Konoha and he didn't need that right now.

As Raphael walked out of the office, a man with a fine looking suit, tailored to fit him perfectly, and an open duster over it would walk in, having been standing in the hall near the door for sometime without drawing much attention to himself. From down the hall he had caught what Toshiko had done, forming a task force out of some leaf ninja who had fled the rule of Shinsei. He set his eyes on her, the Shogun of the Wind country, with a bit of concern. He was close to that man once... he had seen first hand what he did. He had tried to help the many he displaced but it simply was not in Kendall's power. It was why he had come home to his family, why he had followed Toshiko here. By all methods of measuring the power between them wasn't so great that she could easly be considered his greater, nor the opposite, but Kendall saw in her what he wished he could pull from Shin- Kleine. So Kendall, an aristocrat of a different kind, chose a different ruler to pledge himself to as a weapon, a shield, a confidant if need be, or even just a friend. He rested his eyes on her with worry not for her safety; he worried for her soul.
To engage a ninja world war changes you. When a man stands against the gates of hell and sees the devil... he can never see the rest of the world the same way again. To stand against a power like Kya and Kleine, Toshiko may very well have to become the very thing she stood against: a monster. With each passing second Kendall became keenly aware of how potentially dire things could become. He had a family here, four ninja who looked up to him. He was the head of the Weiss family, had been for a long time. He was the first to become a ninja, and the strongest of them all. If not he, then who would stand as the pillar of light in suna? It couldn't be the kage, for the title itself implies darkness in his heart. It could only be the Shogun who could inspire more than fear with her power. Kendall could not abstain from conflict any longer. If there was to be anyone in suna, especially considering his strength, who would allow demons to take root in his body in order to protect his family it'd be him. He would protect the soul of Toshiko, of Nina and Nox, of Tyr and his madman of the other one.
He blinked, only a few seconds passing before he was prepared to speak, only a few words in introduction, and also intending to clear the room. "Lady Toshiko." he began with a slight bown, a formality he hoped by now he need not do but would continue to perform indefinitely. "I wish to speak with you... alone." if anyone else were in the office, this would be their cue to leave. He would look to Cecil with a smile upon his face. He knew of the man who once led the mist village military. He could not fault him for losing to Kya, as she was a woman of the north and by the stories and whispers quite the hellcat. He hoped one day to be the man famous for stopping her of his own accord, at least now anyway. But alas, even as far as rank went he did outrank Cecil, and so motioned, respectfully, for him to exit. From what he heard, he may as well be gone anyway. The task force should be going soon as well, which would leave he and Toshiko alone. He would remove his jacket and hang it over his chair before moving to sit down across from her in the office. He cleared his throat and licked his lips before speaking, almost as if unsure what to say. His oddly colored dark pink eyes rested on hers, almost as if examining her. "I always find it amazing that something so beautiful could be so powerful, so stable in a world like this one." he began slowly, each word precise, picked out of a sea of language. It would seem... extemporaneous the way the words came out. Like someone had asked him a surprisingly difficult to answer question. He crossed his leg the way men did when conducting business, casual but strong and holding presence. He broke his gaze and cleared his throat before movingon. "The sand village is full of so much life. A desert filled with life." he repeated the word deliberately as he unbuttoned and removed his blazer. He rolled up his sleeves as he continued speaking, allowhing the suit jacket to fall back over his chair. "What does it mean to you to live? Allow me a moment to be long winded. Conciseness is not my strong suit." He smirked, looking up at her as vines came through his right sleeve and up his exposed forearm. "To be alive, if you allow me to be blunt, is perhaps the strongest state of being. I do not mean to have a heartbeat or a pulse. We all have those... barring some extended circumstances. When I say alive I mean to have a true effect on the world, to leave something more than a simple imprint." From the vines he grew, flowers began to bud as if to illustrate the point. He rose and walked over to her, holding his eyes upon her own. He placed his open hand, unless she would draw away, onto hers, llinking the two together. "To create bonds, and allow things below you room to grow. To dig out the space for a flower to bloom." As he would grasp her hand the vines would extend and truly connect them, and the flowers would actually bloom. He would look from this to meet her eyes, to see if he was illustrating the point well and again be momentarily stunned by what he saw.
"It is true indeed, that we are limited in our time here. Even immortal gods die, oddly enough. But when your time comes and you have wilted it is not truly who you were that mattered, but what you were seen as that becomes your legacy." The vines and flowers would slowly wilt, his chakra cut off from them before the actual technique he was using could spread pollen everywhere. Kendall would slowly let her hand go as the last petal turned to dust on it's path to the ground and turn to look out of the window. "I would say to live means to strive, to fight tooth and nail towards something greater that self satisfaction. Fatalist as it sounds, I do not believe that many live at all. I can see in you, however, that you do not simply live for yourself. I don't know if you know, but you inspire people. I keep my ear to the ground, I am involved in many businesses from higher organizations to small businesses. They see you as a beacon, as a sign of the life of the desert." He would stop suddenly, realizing how long he had been talking. He cleared his throat once more. "Sorry, the point has gotten away from me. Allow me to bring this to the point. To stand against Kleine and Kya, among the other superpowers they no doubt have, will be a hard fight. It will be trying, taxing even. But you must remember, for the sake of Kaze no Kuni that you are alive, where are enemies are dead. You cannot allow their ways to corrupt you. Kleine and Kya come from a dead land of barbarians and uncivilized mongrels. I would not presume to know you too personally, though I would like to. But I sense a good heart in you." He would fall to his knees before her, his hands on his knees and his head bowed. "As a humble servant of the Land of Wind, I would carry the burden of Suna beside you, if you would have me. Where you have your light and shadow in the form of our young, naive Kage, I will be the true darkness we may need to combat this threat. Allow me to be the one who falls to darkness so that the village can live." It may seem misplaced, random or unnecessary, but in Kendall's mind this was a very important moment. He admired her, it was true. But his view was not mired by his emotion. He knew what he was talking about. He had seen what a dark ruler could bring about and he had seen how wonderful the future could be below a benevolent one. He wanted to be there beside her, the one viewed as rutheless and callous instead of her. He would take on the burdens of heavy decisions, or at least relieve it, while she merely needed to direct him. He would be her left hand where the Kage was her right, should she only say the word.
