♜Vanlith Storm♜ ☪"Lion's do not concern themselves with the opinion of sheep."☪
Vanlith ceased his laughing when Gwendolyn came to get him. The guards parted like the sea as the High Princess left and he followed. They walked in silence for a time as he collected his thoughts. He was no longer in the clouds and had to be civil, as well as thoughtful. "Aye, I remember you High Princess from my last trip here. I do believe I dropped in the same way." A smile graced his, already relaxed face. Storm straightened his clothes a little bit and sighed. "How can you stay in this castle for so long? I just got here and I already wish for the freedom of the sky."
The King of Ethe groaned quietly to himself. In truth he hardly attended many things in his own kingdom. His advisers hated that about him, but how could he just stay in one place for long? Being able to control lighting showed him how boring most people were. Lighting was free and wild, not needed anyone or anything to control it. "So High Princess, how have you been? And where is the Queen?"
"As gentle as the calm breeze, As wrathful as the ravaging storm."
In the distance of the Fifth Kingdom, Basil soared high above the surface as he advanced towards the Fifth Kingdom, his magnificent ivory wings spread wide. With his destination in sight, the Little King's body turn as his chest faced the heavens, his wing closing just before he was to tilt backwards and free fall into an dive.
Immediately Basil felt gravity take hold of his body, the fresh air of earth enveloping his body, the wind currents thrashing at his face as he fell, his eyes closed as he enjoyed the strong but comforting currents. He enjoyed the freedom of this fall, the clouds caressing his body as he feel through them, the thrill of not knowing if he was going to hit the ground before he had a chance to open his wings. A feeling within his gut slowly began to surface, it wasn't butterflies but instead anxiety, he was so ready for this, "gathering", its been a while since the royalty of all five kingdoms/queendoms came together for any occasion, so he was sure the drama and entertainment shall be endless, and knowing how close he was to it, he just couldn't contain his excitement which shown in his eyes as they flashed an illuminated yellow just as he was to open them.
Just as his eyes were to open, so did his wings, instantly catching the currents and riding them as he shot off like a rocket towards the kingdom. Without his wings being completely stretched, he had no choice but to ride the currents with his gained momentum, yet that still wouldn't have explained his speed. Basil gained visual on his father as the man in his dragon form would circle around the capital before landing, while the young prince wasn't to far out and closing in quickly. With the thought of how much fun this will be, he couldn't stop a smirk from taking over his lips, as he sped past the gate into the kingdom, his wings opening as he rose just high enough to clear it and the buildings behind it, weaving through the taller structures with nothing but his destination in sight.
The closer Basil was to the castle, the tighter he seen the security becoming, such was to only be expected but he had no intentions of stopping before reaching the castle, he was royalty and that much was always apparent with this one. As he drew near the castle entrance, he closed his wings once more as he lowered himself towards the ground, his wings snapping back open while he was now in an upright position, using his wings to catch wind, instantly slowing him down, before he was to land. Basil was a man of pride and that showed in his walk, along with confidence and a noble air around him. His long ivory hair rested on his shoulders after his sudden stop, though he was quick to grab a hold of it, tying it up into a low ponytail with his bangs hanging on the left side of his head. He adorn all white garments from the finely crafted long coat he wore, white shirt made of the finest fabrics, his gloves, and white trousers with a black intricate design on the right leg, and lastly his silver greaves, crafted by himself.
Though a collector of jewels, Basil doesn't show them off as much as others might, today he decided to keep it simply thus he wears silver cylinder earrings hanging from his ears, on his right ring finger a silver ring of an eastern dragon wrapping around his finger, and on his left ring finger his family ring, baring the crest. A crest of which the guards protecting the entrance to the courtyard only received a glimpse of as Basil was to practically glide past them. He would witness his father being escorted in by whom he could only assume was the High Princess from her appearance alone, granted this appearance was from behind. He gracefully climbed the grand flight of stairs that led to the castles entrance, his hazel eyes ever observant as he admired his surroundings. "Let the festivities begin." His strong, soothing voice chimed as he now wore yet another smirk.
"Everything must be balanced. Even balance itself..."
Draxus heard the scream, wobbling on his two feet for a moment as he recovered from the shrill shriek that had blasted the corridors. As soon as he recovered he immediately made his way towards the source. Hurried steps brought him to the throne room which was blocked by guards and had been cleared of the peasantry. He shuffled his way through the crowd up to the closed doors and quickly spoke to one of the guards. He was not allowed inside it seemed. He spoke quickly and calmly. "Tell the High Queen that Prince Draxus the Eleventh wishes to see the situation immediately as is."
The guard mumbled something about stuck up nobles and moved his way inside to inform the recently wounded queen of Prince Draxus's arrival. Draxus would wait, but he was eyeing the situation from the slightly ajar door that had been left behind by the guard. It seemed to do with a man, old and crooked from the looks of it holding a crossbow. Another assassination attempt on a member of royalty? Was a shadow Coup-De-Tat trying to happen while all the nobles were here? If so, then immediate lockdown of the entire city was a must, every sector shut down and every home searched. No that would be seen as tyranny and only further such actions plots if it was as organized as this. However two failed attempts in one day... That didn't make sense though, if one assassination failed you wouldn't try to go for another immediately after, not unless you were desperate to get rid of power and quickly. Which meant they were either already being exterminated in a shadow war, or they wanted to make a statement. There was one more possibly to that theory as well, both groups, the assassins and the High Regents knew something the lower houses did not. That would be a problem.

lwasborn to Nothing And Raised to Nothing If you come from Nothing wheneveryone has Something...
Magdalenia was pissed, her white hair was in such a mess it looked like a frizzy halo around her small face. The man that had shot at her was held to the ground, face against the stone as one of her guards pulled out the cross bow bolt and started to heal her. Magdalenia took deep breaths, her nails changing from being their perfectly manicured french tipped nails to a hard as steel golden color, talons that seemed to dig into the throne, Spiraling Golden horns came from her forehead, splitting the skin and reached two feet above her.
Once Madgalenia was healed she stood up, Draxus would be aloud to enter the throne room. The queen appeared to be looking more and more like a dragon with each passing second "You dare attack me in my palace" she whispered, lashing out and grabbing the mad man out from under her guards and lifting him up as white wings came from her her back, ripping though her beautiful ornate dress "How DARE YOU Destroy my peace!" she said, her nails digging into the mad man's throat, blood oozing around her nails and down the mans neck "I do not tolerate such things." she whispered.
The man helplessly clawed at his neck, his eyes bulging out of their sockets, begging something he called the blue stones to help get rid of "this monster holding him" The queen hummed, small sounds coming from her lips, she was tempted to just let the man go...and then hunt him, oh how long had it been since she enjoyed hunting another creature, hearing the pattering of their frantic heart as they tried to run away from her. "Open the sky gates" she whispered and the guards that where no longer holding the man down ran to do as they where ordered.
The ceiling above the queen slowly rolled back, parting to show the sunlight above, and when the queen grinned it was a horrid gut turning evil grin. The Queen jumped into the air, her wings helping her gain height and she transformed mid-flight, Her clothes burning away, her long white hair shrinking, limbs growing thicker and scaled. Magdalenia flew right out of the sky door and into the sky above the castle, her long golden white form glittering in the sunlight, The man still in her claws, She roared as she threw him, his body whipping around like a palm tree during a hurricane.
The Queen then, flew down, landing back in her throne room, transforming back into the Queen she was, in a puff of smoke she had returned to her regal human form. A servant women quickly brought a robe over to The Queen and started to dress her in the Robe, but the queen wasn't shielding herself from the guards, obviously not shy about being exposed to her guards.

- High Princess Gwendolyn Cailleach of the Fifth Kingdom -
As she walked, Gwendolyn smiled at the memory of the dragon king's last visit. She was younger then, and mystified with the extravagance of the grand entrance he made. That always also during the time that she had just started to grow an interest in the outside world itself, though the fact that she would leave the castle to explore amongst the commoners was usually frowned upon by most nobility, and the last thing she wanted was for her life outside of the palace walls to be taken away from her.
"Being quite honest, I often long for the skies myself. The freedom of flying is simply irreplaceable." The carmine haired girl stated with a small smile at the thought before speaking once again. "Though practicing amongst the trees offers at least a little but of solace in this place. Gwendolyn stated, a part of her simply wishing to find someone to spar with. Azara and Adela were becoming predictable, and they constantly let her win their matches, which simply defeated the purpose in the first place. The last thing she wanted was for her abilities to grow dull.
When Vanlith requested the queen, Gwendolyn was ready to answer before she heard the shriek of a servant in the throne room. It was within seconds that the fiery haired girl caught a glimpse of a grand dragon coiled in the sky, a man in her clutches. Gwendolyn simply gazed at the High Queen's form. It was magnificent and beautiful, and Gwendolyn held much adoration for it, as much as the thought poisoned the phoenix. "It has been a while since I've seen her dragon form." The female simply said as she gazed through the stretched window. She watched as she threw the man in her grasp with great force before descending to see a visitor, one who had looked rather similar to the king beside her. "I take it that he is your son?" The crimson haired female asked, her slate gaze moving from the window to the guest with an inquisitive glance.
"And disregarding it is not strength."

Sonaria Callieach High Princess of the Fifth Kingdom
Sonaria got her letter of Summons two month's ago, sent by snail mail...aka on foot messenger. It had ordered her to return to the castle in 'a condition fit for a princess' which Sonaria had only to guess meant that something very important was to happen. She hadn't been back at the capital since she was 14 so why wasn't she more enthused to be switching armor clad sweaty men with swords, to robe swathed sweaty men with pens and rings on their sausage roll fingers, ah now she remembered, how silly. She knew exsactly why she didn't want to go back, because she would prefer having to share a bath with 50 coitus crazed men then be subject to the glares of every pig faced triple chinned over grown royal wanna be child and their loyal dogs. If her thoughts could kill she would have sent her thoughts right to the man who wrote the letter of summons, given him a heart attack with her mind, yet alas that was not her ability. So instead she got ready...slowly.
A month ago Sonaria had started on her way to the capital, riding a simple old mare for as long as she could, knowing full well that it would die before she got to the Capital, or even 100 miles...the mare lasted longer then she expected, carrying her 150 miles. In order to try to avoid being at the capital for longer then necessary Sonaria wasted her time in taverns and inn's, drinking, dancing and occasionally working. She had some how managed to waste away a near month hopping from town to town, shaking her hips like a cheap street dancer.
Finally as time grew nearer to actually be in the capital she started walking. Arriving at the wall somewhere after midnight with nothing but a sack of water slung over her back. She refused to let her presents in the city be known so instead of going though the main gates...which where closed by this hour anyway, she went to a dear old dead friend, kicking away dust and dirt from the grave she kicked the head stone and a passage opened. Walking down into the darkness she walked and walked until she found a crooked wooden ladder that she climbed up and out of an abandoned grain mill. Ignoring a couple enjoying themselves in the corner she walked out of the mill and onto the streets, breathing in the sickening smell of city air, the burning coal smell from the black smiths and the dragon/phoenix fights nauseated her, though some would say the smell was the same as living in a battle encampment, they where so wrong, their was always a distinctive smell if you paid close enough attention.
Waiting another few days she watched as Royals rolled in, first the Lady Bellris, and Royals from Abraxos, Then the Dragon's of Ethe flooded the streets...and yet she could not detect the scent of the Zalto Phoenix's that where always to distinct. She had planned on making a big appearance once all the Royal's where walking up and down the halls of the castle, trying to steal gems and Gold fixtures that they thought where priceless, but apparently that wouldn't happen. Fixing herself up she went to the castle guards who stopped her immediately on the context that the Queen had just been attacked...Had she mentioned that she really hated the city? Showing her ring, the guards immediately parted, they both whispered as she passed 'Who summoned the formless witch back? I thought we had enough b*****d's in the capital already' and the other whispered back 'be silent idiot. She's still a princess, I can get killed just for listening to you.' they stopped when Sonaria stopped walking and sighed.
When she started walking again she walked up the steps, her heavy ungraceful foot steps heavy on the marble that lead up to the blue stone castle, she could already hear the stones whispering to her, welcoming her back, telling her that it had been to long, wondering why she hand't played with them in so long. She was to busy listening that she bumped her head right into Basil Storm's lower back side. Sonaria stopped for a moment and then continued walking, only to in another few steps bump her head into his back side again. Once again she stopped, then began again only to bump once more...It seemed three was the deal breaker and she took a deep breath and looked up, seeing someone dressed in all white she said "excuse me ma'am, but can you stop with the graceful s**t and just get your shiny white a** going faster? I'm not really in the mood to play bumper dragons."
It didn't take long until Victorianna found herself out of her room and walking back down the halls, staring at the elaborate paintings and beautiful curtains. this place made Bellris look like the junk yard everyone said it was...a place for out casted Phoenix's, what type of Kingdom was like that...none other then Abraxos, and even they had their history, the Prince that sacrificed his wings for his kingdom the most noted one. Victorianna frowned as she came across the very wings that he cut from his back hanging in the hallway headed to her room. She felt like this was some type of warning the queen set up for her a 'misbehave and your left wing will join my collection' type of thing. Victorianna felt the urge to stretch her last wing but she ignored it and instead found herself walking back toward her granddaughter.
When she found her Victorianna sighed softly and leaned against the wall, her shoulders lowered, Looking though her veil at her only living heir...her son's didn't count, she couldn't help but frown, yes her daughter had been an idiot to go sleep with a gardener, yes she refused to grant her granddaughter praise for her deeds. Finally after a while of starring Victorianna managed to say "Do you think you are ready to start learning how to be queen?" she asked her, her mouth was dry as she spoke.
Who are you to say what is evil. When you have never seen true evil
"As gentle as the calm breeze, As wrathful as the ravaging storm."
Basil took his time as he ascended up the flight of stairs leading to the Castle's entrance. He hadn't visit the Fifth Kingdom since he was but a child so he had no real recollection of the kingdom, let alone the castle, so he took his time to admire the craftsmanship and hard work put into its build, from the castle itself, to the sculptures and garden work, things that was visually very related to art. Drawing near to the top of the stairs with a steady pace, Basil would have proceeded into the castle but before he was to take a step, a thunderous roar echoed above the castle. The prince would immediately look to his fathers back, just to make sure it wasn't him, realizing it wasn't, he would then look into the sky wondering who would cause such a scene over the Fifth Kingdom if it wasn't his father. His gaze met with an magnificent creature, the prince looked to the golden dragon with admiration in his eyes, her radiant beauty awe inspiring... Up until the moment when she flung a man across the kingdom, for what reason, he didn't know and didn't too much care, for this was not his kingdom. Though that didn't mean he didn't ponder on the cause. "My father always says, 'The most beautiful women are also the most wrathfu..."
Before he could finish his sentence, he was rudely interrupted when someone bumped into him from behind, his rear end to be exact. His gaze returned to ground level before he was to attempt to look over his shoulder to see who was responsible for interrupting him but he was then bumped into once more, raven colored hair was all he could see. Basil was now purposely standing there with his gaze upon the young woman, who instead of looking where she was going decided to keep up the same cycle and walk straight into him this time, his body now facing her. With the words that spewed out of her mouth next, one would never guess that this woman was one of the High Princesses, Basil himself assumed she was of lesser nobility, deduced from her ill manners and the smell of iron upon the woman, as if she wields a blade. "Quite bold of you Milady." He initially responds, a scoff of amusement being released before a smirk followed. "But you are gravely mistaken." He added.
"First, for you to mistake me for a woman is foolishness. I am the Prince of Ethe, Basil Pyriel Storm and you'll do well to remember that." Basil spoke in an borderline condescending tone. "Second, many things have been used to describe me, but graceful is not one of them. Its the difference of your slouched posture that gives you this illusion." He added, his eyes scanning over as he spoke. "And lastly, the only one playing this game of "bumper dragons" is yourself. Try watching where or in this case who you are walking into and being more aware of your surroundings, for someone who carries the scent of iron, I'm sure you should at least know that much." He ended, his words almost seeming to scold her, the very thing he detested. Basil would then step to the left and turn his body a hundred and eighty degrees, his left am outstretched, silently saying. 'Ladies First'. "Though if all milady wish for is my attention, I might be able to save you a dance at the banquet." He stated shortly after, now teasing the woman before him with his trademark smirk.
"Everything must be balanced. Even balance itself..."
Draxus entered the room to see the sky gates above open and took note of how the contraption seemed to work. What was of lesser beauty was the way the High Queen treated the assassin, not that Draxus could do much. He simply stood there, watching in silence. Once the queen was done with her childish antics of killing the man, she landed and was, presumably naked. Draxus however, did not know as he had turned his vision to the floor. After a moment his eyes wandered back up to meet the High Queen's face, and to note she was now robed. "High Queen, I heard a scream and I rushed to see what was going on. It seems you have this under control however... If you would like, perhaps I can walk you back to your chambers with your guards? I do have some things to discuss with you in either case, and if this is not acceptable I can wait." What he wanted to talk about was not important, but he felt the need to tell the queen his theory as it could mean some very serious repercussions to the people. He wanted to make sure the idea came from a level-headed individual that was not seeking to gain more power or influence for themselves, and instead just did it to make sure that no radical actions were to be taken.
In the best scenario Draxus would be able to tell her immediately of his theory and how he thought it would be best resolved. The worst was she heard the same theory from someone else and went on a rampage in her own city. Who knew what this queen would do, her wrath was like that of a volcano, explosive, dangerous, and it often leeched onto people who followed her. A deadly combo for a tyrant if she chose to become one.

Magdalenia was slowly calming down, her face returning to its fake plastic look as she let her robe fall into place. She sighed heavily thinking she looked like a mess. Magdalenia hated turning into a dragon, it ruined her clothes and her hair, brought her temper out, destroyed her perfect acting and turned her into the monster most Royals deemed her. Shaking her head Magdalenia looked at her guards "Clean this place up." she said and then looked at Draxus "I guess it will be fine" One of her guards tried to talk the queen out of it but she shook her head "I will be perfectly safe around the Prince Of Abraxos, He knows all to well how things work here." she said, her eyes flickering back to Draxus before she started to walk ahead of him, headed out of the room.
Once Magdalenia was out of the Throne room she let her shoulders relax just an inch or so, her frizzy white hair seemed to also relax, She was still depressed that she had been shot at, glad she got to throw someone across a continent, hell that had made her day, but sad she ruined her favorite dress, She would have to get a new one made. Magdalenia walked slowly so Draxus could catch up, and even walking slow she managed to have the dignified grace of one such as herself should have. "So, Draxus. It has been a while since we last met." she said, her head held high even though she had just been the victim in an attempted assassinaition "Has your sacrifice paid off for your country?" she asked him.

Sonaria Callieach High Princess of the Fifth Kingdom
Sonaria lifted her head, showing emerald green eyes to the annoyingly irritating like male...and she listened for his speaking, though she very easily got board, her eyes moving down to his lips as she watch his tongue form the words he needed in order to spit out such nonsense, but strangely she wasn't that offended, just irritated as mr. pale and Ivory rattled on about how he wasn't a women and how he wasn't graceful.
Finally when Mr. Pale and Ivory moved to the side she just started walking passed him, already ten steps up the stairs by the time he started acting like a play boy, she turned on her heal finally and said in the same condescending tone he had used to address her "Quite bold of you Milady" she said, mocking his first words "but you are gravely mistaken" she put her left fist on her hip, the other one holding up her water pouch "First, you look like a women from behind. Dressed all pretty like. Any man can dress in white and say their a prince but it takes more then that to earn the title." she dropped her water pouch and crossed her arms over her chest "Secondly I slouch because it irritates the heck out of you Royal's. Their was no illusion given, you act graceful because its second nature to you high born's. and Lastly," she sighed "I carry the scent of Iron because I have spent the last four years bathing and fighting with men that have ten times the prowess that you will ever have" Sonaria smiled and mock bowed her him, her chest threatening to slip out of her tight top "My lord"
Sonaria then stood back up straight and walked back down the steps so she was just a step above him "and of course I'll see you at the banquet" she smirked and put one of her fingers to his lips "but i'm way out of your league" she grinned, but couldn't help a small bubble of laughter escape her lips, she fell back onto the steps, her bottom landing on the step above the one she had been standing on and she raised her hand as if asking for a handshake "Welcome to the capital, Basil...right?" she grinned from her position on the steps, her black hair was falling behind her shoulders in perfect waves, her green eyes catching the sun perfectly making them shine.

Draxus Versaw The XI, The Prince of Light
"Everything must be balanced. Even balance itself..."
Draxus followed after Magdalenia quietly, his eyes already looking about in case of another 'accident'. When she spoke to him he waited a moment before speaking, choosing his words carefully once more. "Yes... I did not think I would be coming back under such strange circumstances. As for my wings, yes, it has paid off very well. As you heard earlier our farms are doing very well now as we have been focusing on our production mostly on our farms so as to avoid the incident again. As you said, you wouldn't accept such a sacrifice again."Draxus continued his walk with Magdalenia towards her quarters, or that was where he presumed she would be heading. She was leading the walk after all.
"I do not mean to stop your want to not talk about what just happened, however I want to know something... Has there been any resistance from the peasantry in your kingdom as of late?" Draxus was direct with his question. He wasn't going to beat around the bush with this investigation he was going to try and undertake. He was certain there was some sort of connection and he wasn't going to let it go easily. Of course if the Queen didn't allow him to work on this he wouldn't be able to do much. Perhaps he looked paranoid, but he knew one could never be to careful with these things.

Magdalenia smiled "your right, I wouldn't accept it again, because no one if foolish enough to give up their wings as you are" she said, meaning to insult him "Even if they where to cut off their wings before appearing before me it will not be accepted" she said "your little stunt caused an Uproar Draxus...Seven people after you cut off their wings because they thought that would be payment enough, and they would be shined upon by the god of sunlight and granted a pair of wings made out of the purest substance...Light" she said crossly.
As he spoke she sighed "Their have been random revolts yes, but nothing to be concerned of, they only start mainly because I have been to slow at handing out food from our reserves or sending out guards to stop a family feud" she shook her head as she walked to her room, she left the door open for him to follow in. She quickly ordered her two ladies maids to get her new clothes ready. "Although I will tell you, in confidence that you won't blab your mouth" she said as she turned her back to him so that he wouldn't see her front side, then she dropped her robe "Their is this group of rebels that say they 'form under the sight of the blue banner' calling themselves the true people of the land" The Queen said as one of her ladies maids pulled her hair to the side, revealing a perfectly circular mark between her shoulder blades, the mark of Abraxos that every Abraxos dragon had somewhere on their bodies. Her other ladies maid began putting a new corset on Magdalenia's waist just below her chest
Magdalenia sighed "they say they follow the Old ways, that they follow the voices of the blue stones" once her corset was on and her under skirts where on the ladies maid dropped the queen's white hair, covering up the Abraxos mark. Magdalenia turned to she was facing Draxus again "Everyone know's that if they listen to the blue stones they will go insane. that's why we have...near all of us anyway have become deaf to their voices thought out the centuries of our existence in this land. If these blue Revolutionary's can hear the blue stones speak then most likely they have been driven mad" she said as another dress was fitting to her body, a beautiful red dress with gold detail. Magdalenia sighed softly "Bella, Maria, you are excused" she said, and her maid's left the room "You should know our founding story, as every Dragon and Phoenix does? How Iverth was named king above all others and the blue stone created this very palace for him and his future kin?" Magdalenia smiled softly.

♜Vanlith Storm♜ ☪"Lion's do not concern themselves with the opinion of sheep."☪
Vanlith listened to the woman in front of him. He knew that she was always had a thing for grand entrances and could still tell that a child lived inside her heart, which warmed the dragon's heart. When she agreed with him about the skies he laughed again. A lot of people didn't want the same kind of freedom that Vanlith wanted. He patted her shoulder and watched as the High Queen threw someone from the castle. The man was surely dead and he agreed with Gwendolyn that it had been some time since the Queen's dragon form.
At the mention of his son Vanlith smiled. "Ah, he made it. Good I'm glad. Was afraid that he would have gotten lost." Crossing his arms he noticed the other Princess, Sonaria, he thought. "I think my son bit off more than he could chew. Come Gwendolyn, we need to save him." A slight chuckle escaped his lips as he made his way back to the steps he arrived on. Standing behind Sonaria he cleared his throat. "Ah High Princess Sonaria, glad to see you again. And son, I'm glad you made it safely. How was the trip, both of you."
Vanlith hoped that Gwendolyn had followed him, but he was sure that she was busy if she didn't. Turning his head towards his son, Vanlith's tone became as a father talking to his son. "Child, have you been minding your manners while talking to the princess? For all you know this could be your wife one day."
