Peldes yipped excitedly and pranced in place before going to run a circle around her trainer. "I suppose we can take that as a yes." The teen huffed a soft laugh as he reached down to pat his pokemon's head. "It's really no trouble." He assured the blonde before his gaze darted over to Northern. "We should hurry." He said, motioning for the Jirachi to lead the way.

In response to Zacharie's encouragement, Northern floated up, around and past the two humans, prompting Rosie to hurry after her, taking a spinning step for a moment to make sure Zacharie was following okay.
Northern lead them past street lights and trash cans. through the empty streets and down alleys before pausing at the start of a new stretch of road, flanked on each side by trash and buildings.
there were no sounds of movement down this street, and to their disadvantage, no working lights either.

Northern paused before the darkness, drawing Rosie to a stop behind her as well.
The blond glanced down the streets and the dark ally ways before she continued down the side walk, looking through the piles of trash and cautiously down the alleyways.

Not for the first time, Zacharie found himself thanking Jerome for all the training. It was easy to keep up with the Jirachi and Rosie, he even had to slow it down a bit so he wouldn't run past them. When they finally came to a stop, the teen reached into his bag and withdrew a flashlight after a moment of searching. He didn't feel entirely comfortable wandering down a dark ally in the less than favourable parts of town...but he couldn't just let Rosie go all by herself. "C'mon Peldes." He murmured starting near the closest pile of trash and starting to sort through it with the care he used when searching for jars and old flowers.

Growing more concerned by each empty ally that she checked, finding no one down them. It wasn't that she doubted Northern at all, its just... what if they were hidden somewhere that they were missing? And what could it meant that they need help so badly?
She had no idea who needed help or why, and it wasn't like it mattered at all, but she wasn't oblivious to the kind of place this was, and what kind of things went on down here. She hoped this wasn't a victim of violence, no one should ever have to face that.

The more she searched the more worried she was growing though, tossing a box aside to look at the space underneath, showing nothing but greasy concrete.
Letting out a sight sigh, and putting the box back, she moved on to the next pile

Northern however was taking a much different approach, instead of searching like the others, she remained hovering in the middle of the street, her eyes closed and her hands pressed lightly over them. She remained like this for some time, shuffling through the many emotions that enlightened her of the words around with their feelings and responses to the environment. It was one feeling in particular that she was trying to find.
Fading in and out, Northern finally heard something loud enough that it gave her just the aria she needed.
"Rosie-" Northern called, drifting over toward a store front, a small collection of papers and boxes that no human would fit under.
Pulling the sheets of news paper aside just as Rosie hurried over, looking perplexed,
"There?" her comment was followed with a gasp, her hands flying to her mouth when what Northern uncovered was the smallest pokemon Rosie had ever seen, its tiny white body was covered in dirt and scratches, and its weak arms were clinging to a broken and withered flower stem, the petals having long browned and fallen apart underneath the emaciated creature.

"Its a Flbebe-" Rosie said, looking around to Wave Zacharie over. "Zacharie, we found her."

The teen carefully set the box in his hands down before trotting over to the blonde haired girl, Peldes following close behind him. He peered around Rosie and down at where Northern and his friend were looking. "...Her flower." He murmured softly, a frown tugging at his lips. He didn't know too much about the pokemon, but from the pictures he'd seen of them they always had a healthy flower and the flower that the tiny creature was holding on to now was anything but healthy.

"Whats a Flebebe doing so far in the city." Rosie said with sympathy, looking over the flower as Zacharie drew attention to it. reaching down gingerly to see if she could pick it up off the hard ground. "Hey there, its okay." She spoke softly too it.

Seeing something large coming toward it though must have been extremely frightening, three large creatures now looking down at her defenseless form. the Flebebe widened her pink eyes before mustering the will to summon an attack. throwing her arms up over herself.

Rosie let out a yelp, pushing herself back just in time for a bright hot gleaming beam shot up. Even though it didn't hit the girl the force managed to knock her backwards onto the concrete.

The purple-haired teen gave a startled yelp as well as the bright beam shot up, lighting up the area around them. "B-Be careful!" Zacharie snapped, more worried than anything as he reached down to help Rosie back up. His gaze quickly moved over the blonde in search of injuries but it appeared that she was unharmed and so he shifted his attention to the frightened pokemon. He found himself at a loss of what to do. "Can't you...talk to her or something?" He looked to Northern. Tremain could talk to other pokemon...so why couldn't this Jirachi?

One of her hands went to her eyes that had gotten the blunt of the bright attack, trying to rub out the spots that were now bursting all around her vision, Northern too had tumbled away, though she had sensed the attack coming before it happened and avoided being affected by it.

"I'm okay," Rosie reassured the purple haired young man, reaching her other hand out to accept his help up. "She didn't hit me."
brushing herself off and giving Zacharie a soft smile before looking back over to the little Pokemon.

Norther's eyes widened a little, looking back at Zacharie, looking somewhat surprised she pointed to herself. "Talk to her?" This was followed with a tilt of her head as if she wasn't really sure what she would say to the pokemon.

Rosie smiled again, reaching a hand up to touch Northern's head gently,
"She's probably just really scared, she looks like she's hurt, and Flebebe need a flower to be healthy..." stepping back over and very carefully crouching back down over the pile that the pokemon was hiding under
"... its not a good season for flowers though."

Zacharie wouldn't admit it out loud, but he was confused. Didn't this Jirachi know that it could talk to other pokemon? He wasn't sure how it couldn't know though...it was sort of something important.

"Snapdragons, Pansies, and English Daisies grow during the colder seasons." The teen stated automatically, shifting his bag around until he could pull his ever present book of flowers free. "Though I doubt those will be in this area..." He took a look around the dirty alleyway with a distasteful frown, "If we head towards the edges of the city we could probably find something that she will find suitable."
PostPosted: Mon Aug 03, 2015 1:32 pm
His confusion didn't surprise her, especially when she knew that humans and Pokemon communicated with each other through talking.
she knew that, that wasn't to say she understood it completely. Words were just so incomplete, she didn't understand how anyone could fully understand with just words. They always seemed to manage it though... It made her kind of jealous.

Whatever energy the Flebebe seemed to have had, that last attack had certainly spent all of it. Rosie could still see the tiny pokemon's breathing, but it was heavy and uneven.
Rosie wasn't sure what she should do with it, she wasn't sure if the pokemon was conscious or not, she didn't want to stress it out by picking it up, but she couldn't just leave it there.

As Zacharie spoke, Rosie looked back over at him, wide blue eyes blinking a couple of times as he shuffled out a book about flowers from his bag. Rosie herself knew a little about flowers, but that expertise usually lied with Hattie, who took care of the gardens year round in the summer and in the winter green house. Rosie wouldn't know what to look for in this time of year and where.
"With any luck any of those will work. Ideally we need to get her to a Pokemon center, but the nearest one is pretty far away, I would like to make the trip for her as stress free as we can make it."
Rosie looked from the book that Zacharie pulled out, then up to him "I can leave some of my pokemon here to watch her while we go look for a flower."

Zacharie stared down at the tiny, helpless pokemon with a soft frown. "I hope she'll be okay while we're away.." He murmured as he carefully put his book back in his bag. He wished there was something more he could do...but Rosie was right. The best thing to do would be to go and find another flower while the Flabebe rested and regained some of her energy. "My pokemon can help us look for flowers." He offered, tugging the belt he had discarded earlier free from his bag. Six pokeballs rested along the worn, sturdy leather as he tugged it around his waist. "They help me when I'm out collecting samples....Shall we go?"
PostPosted: Sun Aug 16, 2015 11:46 pm
Pressing against her knees to help her stand, Rosie moved her hand to her own belt, pulling out three pink pokeballs.
"Oh wonderful, the more eyes the better." She smiled, tossing the balls she had pulled to release three pokemon onto the ground.
the first a glistening brown and pink Lopunny, tossing her ears behind her and giving the two humans a sideways glance, a Raichu with pink hearts on her cheeks and bright eyes, and last a towering pink Pidgeot.

"Pop, Kiss, Perdy, there is a little pokemon here who needs to be looked after while Zachaire and I go look for a flower so we can take her to the center."
Rosie explained, allowing the pokemon to peer over at the tiny Flebebe, Kiss especially looked delighted at the adorable size of the pokemon.
"We won't be long." the trainer reassured, shifting her stance to face Zacharie and his pokemon, eyebrows arching with a soft nod.
"Okay, lets go."
