☜ ₪✉₪✉☣✉₪✉₪ ☞ Arissa's nausea had subsided again for the time being, and the headache was restarting it's course at a dull ache. She groaned. She hadn't been this sick since she got food poisoning from some expired meat her step-father cooked a year ago. She clutched her bucket tight to her. At one point she thought she heard someone pass outside the door and panicked again, sending a couple of balls to the floor from the opposite wall. It seemed to happen whenever her fear or discomfort rose to a certain point. There was no way she could go walking through the halls like this, but they would have to go back to class at some point, right? Surely their absence would be noticed. ♫Well, it rains and it pours when you're out on your own.
If I crash on the couch can I sleep in my clothes?
'Cause I spent the night dancing, I'm drunk, I suppose
If it looks like I'm laughing I'm really just asking to leave.

Roy Keller  "Alright this way" he looked at Alex's hand "Yikes, I don't suppose its just invisible?" he said nervously "Right sorry" he headed for the gym and poked his head through the doors and opened them, gesturing for Alex. "Hey how're you two holding" Roy said with concern "I found someone else who hit" he pointed to Alex "Alex meet uh..." Roy suddenly remembered he that he never asked for their names.

When she realized who it was, she squeaked in embarrassment at the uncontrollable impulse. "Sorry..." She groaned. "Still struggling, as you can see." Then she introduced herself. "My name's Arissa. This is Rosie." She didn't think she had ever been asked her name before. Usually the people she was with were too drugged out to care, and she tried to stay out of the limelight as much as she could in class. She introduced Rosie as well, thinking the girl might be too out of it at this point. ♫Well, it rains and it pours when you're out on your own.

Rosie DavisRosie was drifting in and out of consciousness while events played out around her. Two people showed up only to be showered with gym equipment by the Church girl. When Arissa introduced the two girls Rosie weakly held up a hand. "Hello." She kept her hand up for about two seconds before fatigue forced her to bring it back down. "So Tired." She complained at a volume barely above a whisper. Her skeletal arm began to reach around inside of her backpack for reasons unknown.

 Alex TsukinoAlex followed after Roy and it didn't take long before they entered the gym. Just as Roy had said there were two girls already inside. He bowed his head slightly in greeting as the girls introduced themselves. Neither of them seemed to be holding up very well. He walked over and took a seat on the floor before pulling out his watch and placing it down in front of him then taking the nub out of his other pocket. "So I take it you guys aren't doing so good either." he said looking at the nub. Nothing had changed from before, the static at his wrist remained where it was and Alex left out a small sigh of relief, glad that he hadn't lost more of his arm. "So any ideas on what's going on?" Alex asked not making eye contact with anyone. His gaze stayed on his wrist, what Roy had said about it maybe being invisible made him want to test around a bit, but then he remembered that the watch had fallen off. Right, so not invisible... he thought to himself.

☜ ₪✉₪✉☣✉₪✉₪ ☞ Arissa shook her head in response to Alex. The action stirred her brain around just a little too much, causing the nausea to come back very suddenly. She took her bucket and ran to the corner of the room furthest from the others before vomiting once more. She knew it was gross, but she couldn't really help it. Arissa slumped down where she was and put her hands to her head. "This is miserable..." She said, not wanting to deal with the pain in her head anymore. Arissa's history of running away from her pain made through drugs made this whole thing very difficult to deal with in a sober state. ♫Well, it rains and it pours when you're out on your own.

Roy Keller "No clue" Roy sighed "all we know is that its got something to do the lights" he said "its doing something to us, whether this is good or bad remains to be seen." Roy looked at all three of them, aside from slowly turning into stone it seemed he was spared from the worst of the symptoms "but I don't know how long we're gonna last" Roy leaned up against the wall "So we got a telepath, some a girl with a exoskeleton, a guy with missing hand, and a walking statue" he chuckled "if this wasn't happening it'd be one bad comic book."

"Only we don't seem to be doing so fantastic... Why aren't you in as much pain as the rest of us seem to be?" She asked Roy, frowning. Aside from the sleepiness she had noticed earlier, and the stone sprouting from his skin, he seemed to be in the best shape of all of them. ♫Well, it rains and it pours when you're out on your own.

Alex TsukinoAlex listened closely and couldn't help but to smile a bit at the comment about them being like the fantastic four. He'd read comics ever since he was little and had dreamed about the life of a hero, which was one of the reasons he loved video games so much. But now that they were getting 'powers' he couldn't help but to feel scared about what might happen. Plus they were just a group of kids. "So far not a bad group though, at least when you think about it strategically. Stone and exo skeleton means that we'd have tanks and hard hitters at close range. And a telepath would be more like a long range support. As for me...." Alex looked down at his hand. "maybe if we find my hand I could throw it at them or something... just got to find a way to get it out of my watch." he smiled a bit only for the smile to fade as he picked up the watch, investigating it closely. He wasn't really even sure if the people would understand him, it was a habit he had for a long time now. He would use game terms instead of normal lingo, for him it just made it easier to explain things, and gave him a bit of comfort.

Roy Keller Roy smiled what Alex had said "Now that sounds awesome" he said "As for any pain none so far but depending how far this stone thing goes I might actually turn into a statue" he checked his arm, just as he feared the stone was spreading "which I might be at the end of the day" the heaviness he felt earlier seemed to only kick in when he was still. He looked to Alex "Wait your hand got stuck in your watch?"

☜ ₪✉₪✉☣✉₪✉₪ ☞ Arissa felt the panic rise inside of her again at the thought of all of the bad things that could happen to any of them. This boy Roy might be complete stone by the end of the day, Alex was apparently losing himself- literally... She didn't even know if Rosie was going to make it, at this point, the girl was so out of it. "There has to be a way to stop it..." She said, the fear obvious in her voice. Arissa squeezed her eyes shut. She wasn't sure she was cut out for this much excitement.
She opened her eyes when she heard a loud 'thunk' on the wall, the sound shocking her out of her thoughts. It appeared that a few more things had flown around the room in that brief moment. What was she going to do? She couldn't make it stop. Maybe she should leave the others and hide alone. Arissa was afraid that might hurt someone if she stopped paying attention long enough. ♫Well, it rains and it pours when you're out on your own.

Rosie Davis"Hey...Guys." Rosie said as her skeletal hand pulled out an orange box. "Food...Anyone." She offered as the hand opened the box. "Trying...to...get...strength...up." Rosie explained as she slowly moved her hand to grasp some of the food in a very undignified manner.

Alex TsukinoAlex nodded to Roy's question "Yeah, my hand turned kind of pixally and my watch was freaking out. Then my hand started getting sucked into the watch." he said looking into the digital watches face. Suddenly a pixalated finger poked out of it. Startled, Alex dropped the watch which landed face down onto the finger. "Ow." Alex said looking at where his hand would be. Cautiously he moved the watch so it was laying face up, the finger still poking out and another finger joining it. Curiously he tried to move his missing hand and fingers, as he did this the fingers coming out of the watch moved. "Well.... I found my hand." he said still staring at it. He looked up as Rosie offered food and nodded slightly "Ummm yeah, thanks." he said. He still felt a bit nauseous but figured it would be good to get something into his stomach. His father was up early this morning, or got back early, so Alex had spent the morning in his room and skipped breakfast.

Roy Keller "Huh, think its limited to watches?" he said "cause if that's all then these powers seem oddly specific" he had a puzzled look on his face "like some cosmic being thought it be real funny to mess with people." Roy sat on the bleachers "either way we should figure out how we're gonna hold out till schools over" he looked at looked the clock hanging over the gym door "first periods almost over."
