Silica watched as she girl with the orange hair ran by."Hey, I think i have seen her before." She said trying to remember where she had seen her before. Silica shook it off and looked back at Kirito. She laughed and shook her head as he disagreed with her." Okay sure." she said as she smiled. Silica looked around with a frown as she saw the chaos all around. She wish she could help everyone and make them feel better .Suddenly, Kirito grabbed her hand. Sillica looked down at there hands and blushed. "U-um yeah, s-sure." She said as she looked up at him. She followed close behind Kirito.

As someone's laugh rose above the screams and weeps of others, Akira did what he figured should happen given the circumstance; run. Not towards the people and not deeper into the towns, but to the next area. If he could level up ahead of the rest of the people, he would have a good foothold for his power. There would of course be groups of friends that banded together, hell maybe even some guilds this early on, but Akira wasn't able to convince any of his friends to join him, let alone buy the VG helmet. As he ran through a back alley, he started running past a couple, one with black hair and a shorter one with brown. They were also headed out of the city given their direction, so Akira ran alongside them for a bit, before jumping into another alley and passing through. Using the main roads might be clear of mobs, but the players would soon come to their senses and head for the next town as well so he was going to take an unmarked route to it. He'd hit mobs, but he had enough experience to finish a few along the way, he just had to be sure and avoid the bosses. As he left the town's protection area, he drew his weapon, entering a combat stance as he ran though the grass.

Where to go next? She honestly wasn't sure, but she knew she needed to become stronger. She found her way to the fields not far outside the town and discovered a boar like creature. She read the title on it's health bar. Frenzy Boar, eh? It's health seemed very low which would be a good start so she drew her sword, about to attack when something strange occurred. Her hair that became it's common black flared a crimson red once again, glowing fiery embers shimmering from her shining locks. She gazed at her sword, witnessing...her normal reflection? Her hair had definitely transitioned to red, but even so the sword revealed her true self anyways. Hmm...interesting...well, she thought with a grin, let's see what else this bad boy can do! She stepped away from the monster for a moment, slashing the sword at the wind so she could test it out. It was pretty light, allowing her strike quickly. She swung it faster and faster and was astonished to see the embers of her hair brighten as the sword grew slightly inflamed like her hair. Whoa, now that's badass! She halted her practice to observe the weapon, but almost instantly when she stopped the flame vanished as quick as it had appeared. Yumiko grinned, she really liked this game even if it could possibly lead to her demise. She glanced back over to the boar and killed it with one swing watching shards disperse and vanish into thin air. From doing this she got a meager amount of experience. She didn't care, if anything she was elated. She repetitively slaughtered the creatures, enjoying every second of it as she grew fonder and more accustomed to her new sword--no, her new lifeline named the Scarlet Flare. ◣__________________________________________◢ ≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎

Michael sighed a bit as he was pushed away. "You know what? fine! I need to start leveling anyway!" He yelled back at her then started running in another direction out into the field. He was still worried about her and everyone else in the game but he also knew that he couldn't just sit by trying to help her feel better forever, he needed to start getting levels before everyone else got their courage back. The beta testers would already out be there ahead of him and he couldn't let himself lag behind like most of the others will probably do. He quickly found his way out into the nearest field and saw a few people grinding. He joined in but soon saw that the monsters wouldn't spawn quick enough to satisfy everyone soon. So he started moving forward while still fighting as he moved towards the next town hoping no one else would follow too closely behind him.

Klein clutched his fist and hit the ground as he sat on the ground. "Damn it! Damn it! Damn it!" He cursed on the brink of tears. He had searched for as long as he could but he couldn't find any one of his friends by the time most the people had left the area. "I-i can't believe this.." He said to himself as he sat there and wished that none of this had ever happened. He sat there until he finally noticed that almost everyone had finally left the area for one reason or another. He quickly wiped his eye of the tears that were forming then stood up to leave. He luckily had heard a few people who he assumed were beta testers talking about heading to the next town to get an edge on level so he decided he would do the same and started running in the direction the next town would be in.

Then again, she looked so young, most young people were physically fit or so he believed despite it being such a hasty generalization. Nonetheless, he switched back to the task at hand when he noticed a familiar boy running along with them. Could he be a fellow beta tester or simply a guy who overheard him and Silica's discussion? No, Kirito thought, he looks way too confident in where he's headed. When the boy turned another direction, Kirito felt as if his theory was confirmed. He assumed the boy was going to take the secret route to the second town. In that case must be a beta tester. He had thought about taking that route himself, however, with Silica around, he didn't want to risk putting her in danger.
Escaping the town didn't take long at all, but that didn't slow Kirito down. Now being vulnerable to attacks, he drew his sword with his free hand in case of any obstacles obstructing the way to the next town. "Keep your eyes alert for monsters, though they are pretty weak around these parts." He decided to not mention the exceptions, not wanting to scare the girl any more than she already had been for the day. Yui could see some of the players moving off into the first field, an area where no game mechanic would stop them from being killed by a monster or person besides their own strength. Groups were grinding the monsters as they hoped to gain easy levels to make the next area easier or just to get loot to live from. Thankfully, Yui noticed that the boss of the area hadn't spawned yet.
Turning to look at another screen, Yui saw a girl with orange who had found a hood before making her way to an inn. The girl flopped down onto the bed and started sobbing, she wanted to reach out to her, to help her, to comfort her, but there was nothing she could do. So long as Cardinal was keeping her from forming in the world, she wouldn't be able to help them, merely keep watch over them.
His gaze turning onto yet another of the floating screens, Yui's eyes widened with shock and fear. The screen showed the edge of the starting town a man standing on the edge of the tall wall. "No!! Cardinal!! Please!!! We can't let them do this!! Let me help!!" Yui called out.Do not interact with the players Cardinal responded, and a moment later the man jumped from the wall, the barrier of the area. The man fell hitting the ground with a thud before his body dispersed into tiny shimmering lights, leaving no trace of the man's existence.

{{ Liabeth // Blacksmith }} OOC: Soo sorry Im supper late! I just came from 2 days of working and I tryed to go online but Internet is always messing up. Can only be on when over at someone's house or Library. I'll Just start after the Announcement. Also I'll write more after work. Need to go soon... Liz never imagen like this would ever happen. -This isn't real... It can't be...- Tears falling down her face, frighten she steped back bumbing into someone. "S-sorry-" she saw others reaction on the situation. She wasn't the only one that was afraid. She couldn't stand being there, so she ran pass people. Reaching a ally she stopped. Tears still falling down her face, she didn't know what to do. She thought of her family and friends, scared she will never see them again "What am I going to do...." She looked at herself in the mirror. "...If I die... I'll die in real life..." She got a hold of herself and puts the mirror away. "That means... I can't die for the sake to see my family and friends." She then looks up for Asuna. -I need to see if she alright... I didn't get to see her on the game yet....- She then walks out of the ally, ready to start the game. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ A few days passed, and Liz already figured out a place to start. She started learning the ways as a blacksmith. She was still training and leveling up, she still couldn't find her friend.

Akira ran into another monster's vicinity, causing it to turn and attack him. After a few slashes, and picking up the junk loot, Akira had to take a medicine. Like his beta experience, he still got near low health in combat. He was almost to the town and he had plenty of medicine, but if this kept up he wouldn't last long. His life was on the line now, not just the quality of his gear. He lasted less than an hour for his first time on the beta although now he had to last until level 100. The rest of the path to the town was clear of monsters and players, which none of the beta testers were using the path it seems. If they had, he might not have gotten as much experience from the path as he did. He entered the town's protective area he walked into the town's square and followed the map towards an inn to rest up his health and energy.

Silica ran right behind Kirito close behind so to not lose him.She saw the boy running besides them as they ran to the town. She looked back a Kirito so that she would not fall. She listened as Kirito spoke of monsters. "Okay." she said as she nodded. Silica looked out for monsters as they ran. She saw as the town was getting closer and closer. "We are almost there Kirito!" Silica said with a bright smile. She knew the town was the only safe place around was and it made her feel better they were almost there.
≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎ ❂-Kirito smiled back at Silica for an instant. He hadn't noticed it before, but the girl reminded him of his younger cousin, Suguha. They were so close, he wondered how she'd manage living without him...Kirito turned his attention forward once again to see a monster heading their way. He did one simple diagonal slice and the creature perished. These fields weren't that bad, they didn't have too many monsters and the ones that did inhabit the lands were easy kills. They didn't even spawn quickly so by the time they did, Kirito and Silica were already out of site.
They finally reached their destination, the town not very lively yet. Kirito grinned as he looked towards the sky pigmented in smooth, glowing shades of orange and pink. Not bad on timing, he thought, I should probably go to the inn first though just in case Silica is tired. He did just that, still holding onto Silica's hand gently.
Kirito entered the inn and was greeted by an NPC. "A room please--" he thought for a moment, not sure if his young companion would be okay with that. He mended his statement, "Make that two rooms." He paid and grabbed the keys, placing one in Silica's palm. "Here," he said in a soft tone, "I'm gonna go look around town. I'll add you to my friend list so you can contact me if anything, okay?" She'd practiced enough anyways. She left her sword unsheathed as she clenched it tightly. Seems like this game is big on sharing...how annoying, dammit...if only there were less people. Well actually, there probably is. I assume some wimps chickened out and committed suicide already, she chuckled slightly, idiots. Unconsciously, she pricked her finger with the sharp tip of her sword. For a moment she watched the blood trickle, then licked the trailing crimson off her finger before gazing back at the people. Hmph. She left the fields, making her way to a town she could see in the far distance. )☯( Yumiko caught her breath after running for such a long time period. She looked around the town, then found an empty alleyway or so she thought. She slid her back against the wall until her skin met the cold pavement. Sitting there, she gazed at her sword, her reflection to be exact. Even if I were to die, I think I'd accept it. I never liked being me anyways, so my demise would be a favor, she thought as she glared at herself. Abruptly, a woman's scream broke her train of thought. Sounds like trouble. I shouldn't get involved...but... Yumi's curiosity got the best of her as stood quickly and ran towards the yell. There on her knees sat the woman who screamed, being held by a man with a sword to her neck and her hair clenched tightly in the other as he screamed in a crude manner for her to shut up. There were three other men with him, smirks on all of their faces. Yumiko glared at them, "What's going on here?" The men finally noticed her, standing before the woman as if to block the path and yelling at her, "Mind your own business, squirt! Yeah, get outta here! This ain't got anything to do with you so it's best you go on your merry way!" Yumi didn't have the patience for these kinds of people. She turned, unsheathing her sword and running swiftly to get some leverage as she ran up a wall and hopped off. One man, realizing what she was about to do, threw himself out of the way as Yumi slashed her sword through the two other men without hesitation. The men shattered into shards and gradually ceased to exist. The lone guard sat on the ground in complete shock and fear, not daring to move. Yumiko threw a fierce glare his way, "Unfortunately, you all were obstructing me from 'my merry way'. You were smart enough to move...lucky you. Now, that I've cleared my path, I'll leave you three to your little confrontation." She walked past the man, knowing very well he wouldn't test his luck.
The woman cried out to her, "N-No, please help me! HELP ME! PLEASE!!" The man holding on to her allowed his sword to dig into her neck slightly, causing the woman to gasp and cry harder though stopping her screams. Yumiko stopped in front of the pair, gazing deep into the woman's eyes as she replied coldly, "If you can't fend for yourself, this isn't the game for you. You just might need a savior like him...so if he doesn't slit your neck open within the next five seconds, I will." Nearly an immediate reaction, the woman's body dispersed into tiny shards and vanished as the man finished the job. He wore toothy crooked smile towards Yumiko, but he didn't say a word, sheathing his sword as if to let her know he wasn't a threat to her. With that, Yumi sheathed her own sword, the flames of her hair burning out to jet black as she silently walked past the man and continued as if the whole incident never occurred. She didn't look back as she heard his voice one last time, "Whoever you are, we'll meet again." ◣__________________________________________◢ ≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎

Klein sighed a bit as he finally made it to the town. He had fought lot of monsters on the way there some of which were a lot harder than others. If it wasn't for the potions he had he would have died back there. But now he wasn't worried about that he just wanted to get some better equipment, some food, and a place to stay. So he went around the town buying whatever he could to help himself as well as a couple of snacks then headed towards the inn where he saw a black haired boy along with a little girl. He assumed the guy was a beta tester since any normal players most likely wouldn't have gotten there yet and the girl was probably too young to be in the beta, so he thought it was his kid sister or something. "Hey kid!" He called out to him with a wave. "You're a beta tester right?" He questioned curious if he was right.

Asuna let the fear overwhelm her. She was never the one to stand strong in hard situations. Asuna sat up as thoughts of suicide overcame her. She looked around the room, She saw her red hood she had thrown of of her self earlier. She saw the fabric belt the held the hood close."No,That would take to long and would be painful." She said throwing away the thought of hanging herself. She got up as she hung her head in sadness. "What if i.." she said as she turned her body to look out the window. Outside of the window, She saw a forest that crawled with monsters just right outside of the city."I don't have weapons and i'm a low level. so maybe one hit and i'm dead?" Asuna said as she turned around and headed for the door. Asuna made her way down the stairs of the inn and past everyone in the lobby. Asuna tried to make it so no one could see her face.She made it out the front door and down the street to where the forest began. Asuna stopped at the edge where the town ended and the forest began. If she stepped past this line, She would no longer be safe. Asuna didn't care. She sighed as she took her first step threw the border. She looked around to see nothing there." Must be deeper." She said as she whipped away a tear. By now, Asuna just felt numb. No feeling, No fear, and no worry in the world. Asuna made her way threw the dark forest to find her killer.

Silica screamed as she saw the monster in front of them. She stayed close behind Kirito. She watched him as he killed him in one hit." Wow." she said wide eyed. She looked at him in shock. She walked with him as he continued into town. She looked threw the town at all the stores." How cool!" she said with a bright smile. She looked at the Inn Kirito was leading her too. It looked pretty cozy. Silica walked in the door of the Inn with Kirito. She smiled at how warm it felt. Her face became red after Kirito had asked for a room. ""Just one? He want's to share?"" She thought to herself as she backed away a little. She relaxed as he then asked for two instead. Silica smiled at Kirito as he handed her a key. "Thank you." She said as she took the key. "Okay." she said as she opened her menu and went to her friend request list. She accepted the request and closed the menu. "Okay, see ya." she said as she walked to the door to the outside of the Inn. Silica wanted to explore the world too. She knew she could fend for herself.
