Lex chuckled, glancing back slyly. "Well, sometimes there is a thrill of getting caught, but this isn't really the place for it." He moved back and pressed his hip against Taavi's taking his hand. "Mmh, going to protect me, Taavi?"

"Definitely not! There's a big difference between kissing behind a club and, uh, something else in the middle of a haunted house attraction!" Taavi replied with an incredulous laugh. He was glad Sasha took his hand though, and glad of Sasha's... Sashaness. Sometimes he wished he was a bit more carefree like that, but then he remembered he liked not getting thrown out of places.

"And of course I will," he continued, smiling and squeezing Sasha's hand as they turned a corner in the maze. "Protecting people and pokemon is a ranger's duty you know."

CJ gave Luxury a suspicious look, turned around, and jumped. "Freaking A!!!" A fake ghost was /right/ by her face, and Luxury started laughing. Well, she laughed until they both heard this very real-sounding growl.

"Uhhh yeahhhhhhh... Lets meander down the hallways, huh?" CJ suggested, and down the hallways they went.

A SPOOKY SPOOKY POKÉMON! Whoa! What can it be?!

They twisted down a couple hallways, 'eek'ing and 'shriek'ing at various decor and spooks, and had almost made their way back around with the intention of going upstairs to find the mirror maze...

But, once again, something caught Luxury's eye behind her sister. "Uh... you might really wanna turn around this time..."

"Nuh-uh, I ain't fallin for that aga-WAH HI!" She hadn't been able to resist a glance to the side, and suddenly the shadow of a Pokemon fell over her face. "Soooo... real or plastic?" Cautiously, CJ reached out to what looked like a Shuppet, but she wasn't entirely sure...

"PET PET"

The little Shuppet danced in the air in front of CJ's fingertips before gently nipping at them and flying to hide behind Luxury.

"Hey-ey!" Luxury laughed, spinning around to face the Pokemon, who kept spinning with her to remain behind her back. After a moment of dancing, Luxury finally caught the little ghost in her arms... Though, only for a moment! The Shuppet slipped away and moved to settle on top of CJ's hat.

"Well... Looks like we found a friend?" CJ laughed, reaching up to tickle the Pokemon. "We're about to head to the mirror maze... Wanna join?"

The Shuppet made a happy noise, and wriggled as if making itself more comfortable on it's perch.

Luxury laughed. "You've got the ghost, you lead the way!"

"Hu?" Taavi paused suddenly, turning as a slight noise attracted his attention and had that been a flicker of movement of out of the corner of his eye? "Hello?"

"Who says it had to be in the middle of the haunted house attraction, it is a haunted house, it is full of dark little corners," Lex teased, rubbing his thumb over the back of Taavi's hand.

"Mmhm, did you hear something, my big strong protector?" He looked back, fingers combing a flyaway piece of wig back. "Find something? "

While she was a little disappointed that Nate didn't answer her text - he was a busy guy after all, and in her opinion he worked far too much - she wasn't going to let that discourage her. Well, not too much, at least. Especially not after she'd picked out the perfect costume. Clad in pirate attire, complete with matching bandanna, boots, an obviously fake pirate sword strapped to her hip, and to top it all off, a plastic hook attached to her short arm, Sera strode into the courtyard of the haunted house - mansion? - with Anastasia ever at her side, the Umbreon wearing her own bandanna around her neck. "All right, so..." The brunette trailed off with a frown as she looked down at her dark-type. They were finally there, so now what? She didn't have anyone to hang out with, all she could do was wander around with Anya... "Where should we go first?" Both trainer and pokemon cast around briefly before shrugging in tandem, then turned to head deeper into the gardens, looking around at the various decorations as they went.

What's that? Rustling in the shadows? Whatever could be rustling in the shadows?
"YAHAHAHA! BOO!" A spooky clown head pops up on a spring like a Jack-In-The-Box, laughing electronically!

Zacharie didn't particularly like Halloween.
"C'mon Jerome!" The grunt called from the entrance of the haunted house as he waved his best friend closer. He planted his glove covered hands firmly above the yellow utility belt resting on his hips and rocked from one foot to another, "I want to make sure we can look through all of the rooms!" Absently, he reached up and scratched just below the domino mask glued to his face, careful not to smear any of the charcoal smeared around his eyes for added effect.

He was glad that it hadn't taken much to get Jerome to agree to dress up for the event. What fun was going out to a haunted house if you didn't dress up? The answer to that was none...it was none fun. That was how the team of two had become the dynamic duo. Batman and Robin outfits had been easy to find...but with some begging and the promise of pictures, he had convinced Andre to get them something much better than cheap, store bought costumes. He hadn't told Jerome this of course. He wasn't sure why the two older men didn't get along...but they obviously weren't comfortable around each other and so he had thought excluding that little bit of information would be for the best.

Zacharie didn't particularly like Halloween...
He loved it.

"What kind of training is this?" Green boots stepped out onto the dark courtyard, large brown eyes scanning the area while one of his eyebrows knit in mild confusion.
He had never heard of this... Halloween before, It sounded pretty cool though, kid dressing up as scary things, going around and being scared and getting candy for it? sounded like a lot of fun actually... if he wasn't such in the mind set of training.

"Its not, Green Bean." a more mature voice replied to him stepping up behind the young boy. the tall figure wore a long smooth smile of his face "This is a break, i figure its once a year you get to go to a haunted house. Plus I wanna see if anything will scare the green pants off of you."
her eyes slid down in time to see his wide eyes expression form into a soft frown.

"Scared of it? But none of this is even real." Gon pointed out with earnest confusion.

"Yeah well, the mind is a powerful thing, Let yourself get scared of something fake every now and then. Its fun!" the taller trainer laughed, reaching out to pat the back of the boys head and usher him further into the garden. A small
Treecko having to cling even harder to the boy's shoulder as he stumbled in with a slight yelp of surprise at the push.
