Theme: Monochrome red/Kratos
Time spent: 1 hour 30



Based on this skull from Skul: The Hero Slayer. He reminded me of Kratos (I think he's sort of based on him) so that's where the Kratos theme comes in. Not actually claiming Kratos as the theme so I did the red predominantly.

Comments: I don't know if I like this? For the most part I don't, the only thing that really stands out is the eyeshine which I want to get to put somewhere else again. Tried a different lining style, shading brush, chibi-esque figure. Too many experiments at once I think, so it sort of muddled up everything.

Comments: It's night mum!
I wanted to colour and render her as well but.... Everything up to this point has taken me too long hahaha, so I'll finish it on Day 50. One day I won't have anything else to finish and I can finally work on Day 23 again QQ

Also please ignore the slight messiness around the face. I accidentally merged the sketch and the lineart and... I couldn't undo far enough. So the sketch is just there now. Forever

Comments: It's Day 49 and I can't believe I thought I'd have enough time to line and render all of these too. You'd think I'd have learnt by now. I'll just keep working on them today

Comments: So I lined all of them and then I'll get to finishing each of them over the next few days. Colouring is arguably less painful than lining so it shouldn't be too bad. Should've committed to one full body QQ

Theme: Norse Gods
Time spent: 2+ hours





Comments: The deity depicted is Hel (or Hela) the ruler of the Norse underworld. I didn't want to go with the Marvel design of her, and a lot of pictures on Google have her half skeleton face but split down the middle. So immediately my brain was like, we're not going to do that, which is how we ended up here. I'll admit I don't know nearly enough Norse mythology to do her justice, I had to guess from ye olde drawings to try and figure out period appropriate clothing. Probably ended up with something that's too close to a long chiton but... who's checking ehehehe...

This was a big head empty mood. Art slump after failing twice to finish the past two days so this was just a struggle to get out. The initial sketch wasn't that bad, just didn't have the energy to go all out. Perhaps another day, or never, we'll see.

Comments: Futzing with windows and stuff was probably the most tedious part. The rest was just adjustment layers.

Based on that one good scene from Into the Spiderverse, except no where near as neon coloured hahaha.

Comments: So apparently no one on the internet can agree on a birth flower or even the dang constellation of Aries. So I just picked Matthiolas (which are apparently in the mustard family) and the nicest looking constellation pattern. It has big graphic tee design vibes

Comments: A lot of posing issues that had to be dealt with.
I don't like how this turned out, I basically gave up halfway and just started going through the motions but I really just wanted to try and finish it.

The lighting was probably the most fun part. Just a bit of an art slump at the moment, hopefully it'll pick up soon.
