Nope, same thing in the U.S.A., too. The REmake one is a person's eye (I never really figured out who's, but I'm guessing Chris's since it was his eye in the original XD), but the RE2 eye is... William Birkin's G-Virus eye on his shoulder/claw thing! :O Y'know, for RE4, instead of a starting pic of Leon and Ashley for the main menu, they could've used Saddler's head and the eye in his mouth. That'd be sweet. xd
