He wavered for a moment, which was enough to dissipate his flames. The man had somehow been able to jumble his concentration long enough to halt his technique. He growled and tried to forced his mind to remain on one track, but he could hardly do anything with the voices in his head. He could feel himself black out, and the last thing he saw was a bright light engulfing his mind.
He stood still, slumped forward against the man's hand. Suddenly, his hand shot forward and grabbed ahold of the man's wrist, almost crumpling it with inhuman strength. His head rose slowly, staring into the man's eyes through eyes that had now become completely white. The dual voice returned, as if he was speaking with his and another entities voice.
"You have no right to enter his MIND!"
The last word exploded from his mouth as he simultaneously released a large explosion of energy, knocking back the people around him. But the hooded man had the misfortune of still being held within the steel grasp of the now possessed warrior. He pulled the hooded man forward, his face inches away as he spoke.
"A mere human should know better than to touch a child of God!"
He reached back with his other hand and shot forward with his closed fist, releasing the man's hand as the fist connected with such force that it kicked up the dust around them as the man flew back quite a distance and landed. He snorted and moved his gaze towards the other soldiers that accompanied him.
"The Jarian Clan has declared war upon you and your countries, so each of you have come here only to die. Leave, or you will surely suffer under our hands."
The entity emphasized his point as two more wings appeared, joining the first two as his presence became more threatening, wisps of blue flame emerging from the tips of his wings as his twin blue katana's blazed to life within his hands.
He was now ready to fight.

An almost inhuman screech filled the battlefield as black shadows began forming into twisted figures surrounding the warring parties. The creatures were completely black, devoid of any facial features except for gaping mouth filled with rows of razor-sharp teeth. They seemed to be endless as they continued forming from the shadows, watching as if waiting for a signal to strike.
"So I see the almighty God of the Seraphim has decided to come to his child's aid. And yet even you seem to be having trouble with a mere mortal. Pathetic."
A large ball of flame blazed to life from nothing, fading away to reveal the God of Darkness, Memnon. He hovered quietly, his immense wings keeping him aloft as his arms crossed before him, the fingers of one hand tapping against his forearm idly. He made his way over to Raziel, casually lifting one of the enemy soldiers and chucking him towards his minions, enjoying the screams as the man was torn apart savagely and without mercy.
Raziel continued to struggle with the enemy mage, despite the help given to him by his deity.
"Why do you come here, Memnon? I do not have time to fight with the likes of you. I have more important matters to attend to, if you don't mind."
Memnon chuckled quietly, knocking away another guard thoughtlessly as the man tried to approach him.
"Yes, I can see the extent of your busy schedule. Having a bit of trouble keeping your thoughts together, are you? Truly pathetic to see a warrior such as yourself hampered this much by a mere mortal."

Memnon approached Raziel quietly, his omniobservant eyes sensing the soul hiding within the host of his most hated enemy. This would not do.
"Well what do we have here...a stowaway."
He snapped his fingers and a shadow minion materialized behind him, hungrily awaiting orders.
"Do you smell what I smell, minion?...I smell fear."
The minion jerked around, it's eyes locked upon the form of Raziel, but looking beyond the physical into the realm of the ethereal. He could easily see the soul of the man invading space which was not his, and the monster squealed with glee. It leaped forward, passing through Raziel and emerging with a black, smoky mass locked in it's jaws.
"Give our mortal friend a more suitable host, won't you minion?"
The minion obliged and absorbed the soul material, linking it with it's own conscious mind, giving it another host upon which to channel itself.
Problem was, the host belong to Memnon. And Memnon never liked to share.
