Angelic King Raziel

PostPosted: Sun Nov 26, 2006 10:14 am
His eyed switched automatically to the person who was obviously their spellcaster, who was already in the midst of a spell and about to complete it. Without so much as a word, he vanished completely and reappeared floating before the man, his palm bared just inches from the man's face and dozens of blue flame tendrils extending from his arm, surrounding the man's skull with razor-sharp points, threatening to pierce through it and end his life.

"I would think twice about your action at the moment, good sir."

The man wearing the hood leaps and presses his arm against the forehead of the assaulter. At that moment the man grows limp, and a blue light can be seen coursing through the veins of the assaulter. The body seems to grow tense and rigid, and seems to resist, but not entirely take control over the body.

Voices swirl in his head, making it difficult to concentrate on maintaining the razor points, and make teleporting difficult.

He wavered for a moment, which was enough to dissipate his flames. The man had somehow been able to jumble his concentration long enough to halt his technique. He growled and tried to forced his mind to remain on one track, but he could hardly do anything with the voices in his head. He could feel himself black out, and the last thing he saw was a bright light engulfing his mind.

He stood still, slumped forward against the man's hand. Suddenly, his hand shot forward and grabbed ahold of the man's wrist, almost crumpling it with inhuman strength. His head rose slowly, staring into the man's eyes through eyes that had now become completely white. The dual voice returned, as if he was speaking with his and another entities voice.

"You have no right to enter his MIND!"

The last word exploded from his mouth as he simultaneously released a large explosion of energy, knocking back the people around him. But the hooded man had the misfortune of still being held within the steel grasp of the now possessed warrior. He pulled the hooded man forward, his face inches away as he spoke.

"A mere human should know better than to touch a child of God!"

He reached back with his other hand and shot forward with his closed fist, releasing the man's hand as the fist connected with such force that it kicked up the dust around them as the man flew back quite a distance and landed. He snorted and moved his gaze towards the other soldiers that accompanied him.

"The Jarian Clan has declared war upon you and your countries, so each of you have come here only to die. Leave, or you will surely suffer under our hands."

The entity emphasized his point as two more wings appeared, joining the first two as his presence became more threatening, wisps of blue flame emerging from the tips of his wings as his twin blue katana's blazed to life within his hands.

He was now ready to fight.

There was no response. The body indeed seemed like an empty shell more or less.

The voice inside his head chimed in, "It's useless you know. And that wasn't my original body. Not even my second."

"Oh, and mere human? You seem to have a lack of understanding of how Niebelian technology works."

"Your divine nature may explain why I am having difficulty controlling your mind entirely, but that doesn't mean I can't have some fun while I'm here."

The wisps of blue flame waver.

"I wonder what this does."

Meanwhile, the soldiers and the captain open fire, excluding the two mechanics still fiddling with the ships.

"The sorcerer concentrates and focuses the lines into a series of swords which encircle him."

"Crud! This doesn't look good!" Brett drew his sword and charged at the soldiers while deflecting lasers. He jumped into the air and slashed at the soldiers around him.

An almost inhuman screech filled the battlefield as black shadows began forming into twisted figures surrounding the warring parties. The creatures were completely black, devoid of any facial features except for gaping mouth filled with rows of razor-sharp teeth. They seemed to be endless as they continued forming from the shadows, watching as if waiting for a signal to strike.

"So I see the almighty God of the Seraphim has decided to come to his child's aid. And yet even you seem to be having trouble with a mere mortal. Pathetic."

A large ball of flame blazed to life from nothing, fading away to reveal the God of Darkness, Memnon. He hovered quietly, his immense wings keeping him aloft as his arms crossed before him, the fingers of one hand tapping against his forearm idly. He made his way over to Raziel, casually lifting one of the enemy soldiers and chucking him towards his minions, enjoying the screams as the man was torn apart savagely and without mercy.

Raziel continued to struggle with the enemy mage, despite the help given to him by his deity.

"Why do you come here, Memnon? I do not have time to fight with the likes of you. I have more important matters to attend to, if you don't mind."

Memnon chuckled quietly, knocking away another guard thoughtlessly as the man tried to approach him.

"Yes, I can see the extent of your busy schedule. Having a bit of trouble keeping your thoughts together, are you? Truly pathetic to see a warrior such as yourself hampered this much by a mere mortal."

The voice inside his head suddenly sounds very afraid.

"Who-who is that?"

The soul of the shaman inside his body knew he had nothing to fear as long as he could find a suitable host...but if the body he was in died...well then it would be the end of him.

The soldier knocked aside goes into a roll, and in pure anger, blasts pulse fire at the Dark God, before chucking a plasma grenade at it.

The squad leader steps back, knowing the soldier did not make a wise move.

The sorcerer sensing possible danger morphs the lines into a defensive dome around them. Excluding the enraged soldier.

The lines reflect Brett. When he is bounced off of the lines...they sting like needles, but seem not to do any harm.

The mechanical bugs have seemed to fixed the craft almost completely, and the operators set half of them to assault mode. They rise into the air like a cloud of angry hornets and await a command.

Traven Looking at Desta says “Ok be back soon”

He jumps into a shadow and appears in a dark alley way two Black bladed silver edged swords gleaming. He runs at a full bolt sparks jumping at his feet from his boots as he runs he grabs a spark and lights a fire through the air. The fire burring like a great red spark hitting 3 of the soldiers and turning there bodies to burnt corpses. He hit 2 more with his swords the bodies went dark and came back to life there souls gone and now at Travens disposal. He bent down and used a small alchemic circle to make 2 machine guns for his zombies using the metal support in the building he turns to take on the rest of the soldiers.

blin held his club ready swinging it in the air at the mechanical bugs one handed as he pulled off the trunk that seemed to stare up at them without eyes

"Yeowch! That stings!" Brett started running towards the craft. When he got to it, he tore a big gash in the hull of the ship with his sword.

"Well it loks like the action has started." said Desta cracking neck as she pulled out two long silver blades. "Jarians the time has come to defend Byako!" yelled Desta to the Jarian blockade which seemed oddly quiet as she began running toward the sound of the fighting in a nearby alley way.

Memnon approached Raziel quietly, his omniobservant eyes sensing the soul hiding within the host of his most hated enemy. This would not do.

"Well what do we have here...a stowaway."

He snapped his fingers and a shadow minion materialized behind him, hungrily awaiting orders.

"Do you smell what I smell, minion?...I smell fear."

The minion jerked around, it's eyes locked upon the form of Raziel, but looking beyond the physical into the realm of the ethereal. He could easily see the soul of the man invading space which was not his, and the monster squealed with glee. It leaped forward, passing through Raziel and emerging with a black, smoky mass locked in it's jaws.

"Give our mortal friend a more suitable host, won't you minion?"

The minion obliged and absorbed the soul material, linking it with it's own conscious mind, giving it another host upon which to channel itself.

Problem was, the host belong to Memnon. And Memnon never liked to share.

The shadow minion glowed blue for a second before turning red. The minion then opened it's mouth with a wicked grin.

"Who's at the door?
Demon or whore?
Four on the floor?
Dealer in tricks, deceit and lies
Mischief and what does not die
Who's at the door?
There's always room
For one more..."

There's a hideous cackle.

The shadow minion's belly distends as a multitude of demon faces show up.

"Robin the Bobbin, the big-headed hen
He Ate more meat than four-score men.
He Ate a cow, He Ate a calf
He Ate a butcher and a half
He Ate a church, He Ate a steeple
He Ate the priest and all the people.
And yet he complained that his belly was not full."

The sould of the shaman is no more, overcome by the own demons awakened in his soul.

The shadow demon begins to gnaw on a fallen soldier. Memnon, with the ability to see what mere mortals cannot saw that the blue soul had disintegrated into a multitude of smaller souls, medium ranked demons...rhymers, Molochites...demons of fire and gluttony.

Meanwhile the sorcerer in defense of the ship, directs a large spike of lines at Brett.

The mechanical bugs resume repairing the gash in the ship.

Memnon cackled triumphantly, not concerning himself with the fact that demons had now taken control of his own minion. He turned and began making his way away from the commotion.

"What is your game, Memnon? Why did you do this?"

He grinned and turned back to Raziel, who's weapons were at the ready and a stern look in his eyes.

"No reason at all, little bird. I just don't like competition..."

He floated off into the air, the grin remaining on his face as he dissolved within a cloud of flame.

"And nobody ******** with my victory..."

Raziel watched him leave, the ominous cackle ringing in his ears. He knew that the victory Memnon referred to was him.

He jumped into action, slaying the remaining shadows beast that held the remnants of the shaman within it before turning his attention upon the mecha-spiders on the ship, tearing through them one at a time with his blades.

The minion split, but the demons only laughed and laughed as they died, the horrible laughter ringing out as they were sent back to the terrible realm of Pazuzu. A foul wind brushed past Raziel before they were gone.

The captain then with amazing speed parries the sword of Raziel. Interrupting his efforts.

The mechanic bug controllers then recieved a signal on their radios.

"They're after the weapons. Destroy the weapons and focus on just repairing the transport and shield systems, and get out of there!"

The mechanic ignores the command and has a better idea. A bug plugs into the interface port, the mechanic points at Brett. The large towering railgun slowly begins to rotate towards him.

Meanwhile, the other mechanic does listen to the command and hig bugs begin to rapidly destroy the pulse cannons, reducing it to chunks of carbon and low grade iron.
