Masami_Mistress_Of_Fire you lucky b*****d, i wish i could go to your school!! I don't know if i would ACTUALLY get beaten up but i'm not gonna go around finding out now am I? with the people that actually go to my school, i wouldn't be surprised if they did beat me up. they're all assholes like that. dumbasses....-.- Yeah, I wouldn't exactly wanna get beat up either... then again, my school is one of those overly-chilvalrous "the guys won't hit girls" schools. I'm fine with guys not wanting to get into fights with girls, since that would tend to be unfair since girls really aren't as strong, but that doesn't mean that it's fine to hit guys and not girls. If some chick is being rude, she deserves to be smacked, just like the guys! I hit people when they get on my nerves, not enough to actually hurt them, but I don't see the big deal. We girls aren't so weak that we can't take a little smacking. Actually, because of childbirth I think we tend to have a higher pain tolerancy than guys.

I agree. some girls just deserve to be smacked... especially those ones who think that just because they're a girl that no guy can hit them if they are acting bitchy or mean.

Super String Theory I agree. some girls just deserve to be smacked... especially those ones who think that just because they're a girl that no guy can hit them if they are acting bitchy or mean. That bothers me so much! D: Then they whine and complain if *anyone* hits them, not just guys!

A lot of guys in my highschool won't hesitate to hit girls. I live on Long Island, NY, so all the schools here are full of complete ...jerks who think they're from the city. It makes me so angry. Long Island is absolutely nothing like Manhattan, the Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn, etc. and never will be. ::rants::
Anyways. One time, this kid who was "friends" with me kept pushing and shoving me for no aparant reason. I was getting angry, and asked him to stop. But he did it again, so I had to force him to stop. mad
A lot of the kids here will usually leave you alone if you do use force, but you have to be careful who you mess with or it's easy to get yourself in a serious fight. ._.;
Just to change the topic a tiny bit... Has anyone ever been talking about Yuugiou and made a friend with someone you never imagined liked it? XD

XD >o< sounds almost like my school. only i live in Canada. but actually yes! i was talking with this one girl and she was talking to her friend about Yu-Gi-Oh doujinshi and I asked her what the site was and she wrote it down for me. so then we started talking about Yu-Gi-Oh and i was thinking "wow! i've seen this girl around the school sometimes and i never thought she would like Yu-Gi-Oh!" Our friendship was totally based off of Yu-Gi-Oh! ^o^ although, it's sad that she's not that into Yu-Gi-Oh anymore. And don't worry, it's not the girl that insulted the Black Magician. But anyway, yeah, that's happened to me!

Well, I've made acquantances or better friends with people who once liked yugioh! I get half credit! =D
But there have been a few times where somebody makes and odd reference, and somebody laughs and starts saying how they used to watch that with their sibling, and it'll trun into some crazy conversation about cartoons in the good ol' days!
Point is I totally know what you're saying. It's hilarious to see how people you never expected to have seen anime talk about it. Especially when we get into favorite characters and monsters. Gawd, I love knowing deep down most people are just as nerdy as I am! XD

XD Hmmm.... the closest that's happened for me is either making friends with someone through YUU*GI*OU (though it wasn't where I wouldn't expect them to like it...) or someone I'm already friends with admitting that they are sort of into YUU*GI*OU, which is something I didn't expect. XD;;

@Masami: Yeah, I guess you really can't judge what people like from the way they look. @Pixi: Haha, I always get into those conversations about old cartoons that I used to watch. XD @Kitune Chan: That still counts. whee Isn't it nice when you meet someone and find out they like something you like too? That doesn't happen much with me, but it makes me like the person a lot more. XD
My story happened when I was looking through my deck on the bus after school on day. There was this really... how should I put this? A really jerky, mean, obnoxious, but somehow popular kid sitting in the seat next to mine. I was looking through my deck with my sister and he says, "Are those... Yu-Gi-Oh cards???" I thought that he was going to torment me for the rest of the year, but actually, he started talking about how he plays the game too. I would have never imagined, ever, that people like him play card games like the Yuugiou TCG. Hah.

I've never really had this specifically happen to me.
But often times I'll be in a public place and talking about it with my friends, and some person who was being wicked sketchy and overheard me will come over and be like "Yuugiou? YES!"
Who cares that they're skethy eavesdroppers? Yuugiou fans unite! heart I love making random friends through it.

I'm 17 and in High School, and have card images taped to my computer that I carry around with me. I don't care who knows. Not many people in my school play. Only a few give me crap over it, when they do, I tell them to shove it.

I think there are more people willing to accept the card game than the cartoon, which is good, I guess. I wish that people would stop being mean and just mind their business. D:
