Fall Out Boy is Punk/pop/alternative, their genre is disputed. Some of their songs are terribly emo, but most of them are fast paced and full of energy.

They aren't emo to me...it aLL kinda bLew up for them in the "emo" tent when they got big...before then aLL magazines caLLed them Pop-punk...then "from under the cork tree" came out and suddenLy they're this "awesome emo band"...

they're just caLLed "emo" for popuLarity in magazines
