The massive holes in the ship signaled for Kai that it was time to abandon this ship and meet up with his friends. With the a charge and hurdle across dead pirates, Kai infused most of his energy into his legs and leapt from this boat straight over to Jasons boat. He landed safe and sound as he watched the other boat begin to sink. "Hmmm I wonder if they got out safe." He said as he walked over toward the railing seeing if their was anymore resistance.

As Yousei swung her chainblade to the Sinclaire ship, Camthalion's expression was a combination of dumbfoundedness and disappointed. Throughout his entire life, he had known that female elves were vital, but we not as courageous to risk their lives in battle. The females elves of the Black Woode would never have learned to risk such behavior. And yet, Camthalion could help to wonder what brought her to make such a decision as to go to the other ship, with all the chaos and commotion. Was it something he said? He didn't know, but his expression changed a third time to be more confident. His eyes turned violet once more his vision sharpened to see where she was going.

"Witum!" he tried to help, but all the action of guns firing, cannons blasting, and swords clinging drowned his voice. He got closer to him and practically shouted in his ear. "Witum, get Miles and follow me. We are going to accompany Yousei, whose already crossed to the Sinclaire ship. Let Jason and Kayla worry about Woe. Let's move!"

Miles watched as Yousei boarded the other ship, shaking his head once he sighed deeply "Always has to complicate things, that one." He took his position on the railing again, crouching slightly before pushing off, towards the chain blade. As he left his planted position his foot slipped, sending him spiraling into the water. He let out a sharp yelp as he hit the water, instantly turning around and grabbing wildly for anything he could reach. He emerged from the water, screaming out a few times as he tried despraitly to reach either ship, the chain blade seeming like his only option.

"I can't swim!"

Witum nodded to the other elf warrior and shouted to Yousei, "Miles needs help!" He then threw his left sword at an enemy near yousei and ran towards the side of the ship. With a adreline boosted jump he leaped off one ship and smashed into the side of another. Although he shoved his sword into the haul and slowly pulled himself up to the edge. His eye was bruised black from the impact but when he got up finally he'd help out yousei by helping to pull miles up out of the water.

Yousei looked back to grab her chainblade when she heard Miles's voice from below. Looking over the railing, she noticed that it was true; Miles had indeed fallen into the black torrent. "Miles!!" she shouted over the railing, as the ship sunk further into the waters. She thought of Karasu beneath her feet, gasping for air. As Witium dove after Miles, she decided that it was safe to go after Karasu. Once Karasu was with her, she could rescue them both from the waters. "Hold on!! I'll be back as soon as I can!!" she called out to them, over the roaring waves. She ripped her chainblade free of the ship's wood, just in time to swipe at several men that had spotted her. Yousei dodgerolled and called out to Karasu, Karasu! Can you hear me!?

...

Nothing. She tried again, Karasu!!

...~Yousei..! I... I was trying to sink the ship... And....~
It's all right, Karasu! I'll be right there!! she replied.
Yousei ran past the men, dodgerolling to avoid any bullets that were fired as she made her way below deck. Only a few steps after opening the door, she met water. Karasu's head was bobbing limply on the cold waves. Yousei swam toward her, as best as she could. Several pieces of furniture and barrels of gunpowder floated past. "Karasu.." she called, as she cradled her dragon's head in her arms.

Witum reached out to catch miles with one hand while holding onto the lodged sword with the other, "This battle is annoying as hell miles!" He lifted him to the side of the ship so he get a hold of it. From there Witum heaved himself onto the boat and spat out some extra water, "We're finally on board agian."

The elf was cut short when a bullet flew threw his torso. Blood splattered onto the ships deck and witum looked to a pirate holding up a smoking muskete. With a grunt of pain he stood up slowly. His hands on the other and moved with percition as he threw both swords, one aimed for the barrel and the other aimed at the pirate foot. Both connected and one of them glued the pirate to the floor.

Witum charged the pirate and slammed his forehead into the other man ove rand over until the pirate bled to death. Witum huffed and puffed in exuasgtion and seething hate, plus the pain of his wounds soon caught up with him.

Camthalion fired arrow after arrow. This was more than he could take. If the giant wasn't so hard, why were round after round of Sinclaire pirates harder? Again, a question that the elf couldn't answer.

The elf's glowing purple eyes saw the events that were happening. Kayla's battle with Woe was coming to an end, Witum was able to rescue Miles, but get wounded in the process, and Yousei was trying to save Karasu from the icy waters. This battle had gone far enough.

Camthalion's bow materialized into a sword, one of which nobody has seen in over a thousand generations. His eyes, now a shade of black, his hatred, his malice, drove him into insanity. He was going to perform an ability unlike anyone had ever seen. "Everybody, get out of here! Go overboard! If not, you will surely die!" With one swing into the Sinclaire's ship, and a darkness seeped into the ship, growing darker and darker with each plank it consumed. Dumbfounded pirates began to sink into the dark abyss. It was as if hell's gates were now open. The elf's rage kept him from entering the abyss he had created, but his flesh began to be consumed by the darkness. Blood was everywhere. I save my friends and die here, or let them kill everyone. I think NOT!

Miles watched as Witum attacked the pirate, before standing and glancing around. He slid a hand over his face, brushing the matted hair to the back of his head. He stood for a moment, trying to think a few things over before he turned back towards the water and looked over the edge of the ship.

Witum heard Camthalion's call and he looked to the dark matter consuming the ship, "Now that's different..." He pulled his swords out from the dead pirate in front of them and shealthed them. The elven warrior looked over to the water and got ready to jump like he was told but he looked down to were Yousei and Karasu went below deck, "I was hired for a reason." His hands grasped a near by rope so he could swing his way over the all consuming black matter and fall right into the below deck hatch. Water splashed up as he landed in the lower deck part of the ship were Yousei and Karasu were. The elven warrior came up to Yousei and put a hand on her shoulder not yet seeing how badly Karasu was injured, "Yousei, karasu, we have to get off this doomed ship. Camthalion's...doin some of that crazy magic, but yeah..."

He looked back and saw that the dark matter had began it's decent down the stiars of the lower deck, almost blocking their entrance, "Ahh s**t...alright karasu we'll need ya to bust out of one of the walls and...," he looked over yousei shoulder and noticed karasu simply laying there, "ahh dammit, your pretty injured too huh karasu."

Yousei began to panic, as the walls of the ship turned black. Karasu looked to the door, just before Witium entered. The water levels picked up speed, as the ship was driven into the depths by Camthalion's magic. Karasu's eyesight was blurring, and she soon fainted. "Karasu!!" Yousei shouted after her life-long friend. The waters soon rose above Karasu, as she lay below the waters, but Yousei kept her grip and summoned every ounce of her strength to pull her friend out of the sea's clutches.
The water around Karasu had slowly been turning crimson.. And it had now spread far enough for Yousei to see. Tears welled up in her eyes as she gritted her teeth, and finally pulled Karasu to the ship's deck, which had already begun taking on water. She was somehow able to manage pulling Karasu out of the waters on the ship, but holding her up in the sea would be impossible... And yet, another worry entered her mind, as she stared down at her dragon: Miles. She turned to Witium, the rain hiding her streams of tears, "What about Miles..? Is he all right...?"

Orion sighed as he listend to the sounds of gunfire above and around him. Calmly reaching into his coat he rummadged around for his lockpicks, scaning the area about him to make sure no one was around.

Apon finding his picks he began to work on the cell door, stoping ocasionaly as the guard passed by. After a few moments he smiled wickedly as the sound of the lock opening rang brightly through the hall.

Holding the door a splinter from clasped he waited patiently for the guard to pass by a seckond time. Kicking the cell door into the back of his head he calmly walked out into his newly found freedom. Kneeling down he calmly cut his throat, listening intently to the gurguleing of the blood as he rummadged through his newest victoms possesions.

"thanks for the watch" he said to the corpse as he sliped the item into his coat, padding softly towards the stairs to the deck. Hideing in the shadows, he silently tossed a dagger into the air, catching the blade between his fingers and snaping his wrist back into position to hurl it through the air and anyone who happen to pass by.

When he had reached the stairs he calmly slid his head out of the shadows to peer up towards the deck. "Hey!" he yelled to a guard causeing him to turn around to see who was calling him. With a sadistic grin he loosed the dagger at the gaurd, the blade sinking hilt deep into his throat wth a wet slirking noise, his body droped to the ground, his heel kicking violently against the deck as he clutched the wound gasping for air to fill his now blood filled lungs.

With a chuckle Orion calmly walked up the stairs, kneeling down only momentarily to retrieve his dagger and any posessions that the guard may of had "tsk, tsk my shady friend" Orion said half laughing at the corpse "now youve gone and stained your shirt"

Orion stood up, dusting off his pants and pulling his coat tightly about him. Glanceing around the area he noticed the ship was slowly tipping sideways, the deck flowing over wth with water. Silently he walked towards the dryer part of the deck, looking for a means to abondon this soon to be wreck.

The sound of a voice nearby turned Yousei's attention to a man that had just stepped out from below deck. She saw the dead pirate at his feet, and the satisfied grin across his face. The thought of a killer nearby, and with Karasu in her current condition, made her hair stand on end. "Karasu," she leaned in and spoke softly to her dragon, "You need to fly..." Her eyes traveled to a patch of red on the dragon's white scales, and she cringed. "Karasu.. Please...."
After several minutes of no response, Yousei tried again, Karasu... ... Karasu..! ... Karasu! Can you hear me!? ~...Y..Yousei..?~ Yes.. Karasu, you have to fly! It's the only way we can get off of this ship! Karasu's wings twitched, but then lay just as limp as the rest of her body. ~You will have to heal me...~ Karasu said, showing her icy-blue eyes. Yousei looked to the gash on her dragon's side. How..? she replied, remembering the stray bullet that had grazed Camthalion. Karasu breathed weakly, seemingly reading Yousei's thoughts as she had on several occasions, ~Yes... Remove the.. metal..~ Yousei looked to the wound again and braced herself, shutting her eyes as she reached in with two fingers to pull out the bullet. It was in pretty deep, but she managed to remove it... Her dragon's blood dripped down to her palm as she examined it, before tossing it aside. Finally, she put her hand over her dragon, her palm glowing the familiar silvery-white color as she closed the wound. Unfortunately, Karasu had already lost a fair amount of blood.. Can you move..? Yousei asked, feeling the cold waves at her knees. Karasu's wings twitched again, and then again... and finally, she spread them completely and picked herself up. ~...Let's go..~ she said, weakly.

 

[Orion Iasander]

Orion looked over his shoulder towards the yelling, his eyes widend as he saw the dragon laying wounded on the deck. His image flutterd momentarily and he dissapead from sight.

As the dragon began to take flight he re-appeard hugging the bottom of the tail tightly, pressing his torso against the underbelly. Wraping his arms around the tail, he grasped his own wrists to lock himself in place, a grim look sweeping over his face.

"closer than I really want to be to a man eater" he mutterd to himself "but it beats being eaten by a sea creature."
