Byako Bath District ~The RP~

Viva takes in the informations quietly. He racks his brain for what could be the cause of the problem. He quickly deduces several possiable reason, then settles for the most likely one.

"It sounds like there might be some sorta possession. I can clear the water, that I'm certain of. Take me to where it seems to be the worst at."  

[Sou Jara]

The bath represenitive bowed to Viva and led him into the building. If anything the inside was worse than the outside suggested. flies flew about the building and any perishable item would instantly rot.
Walking down the main hall the Bath Represenitive stopped before a pair of doors.
"The greatest of our problems is here at the most popular of the natural hot springs the building was built over."
He backed away from the door.
"Please do not enter until I am a distance away, it is to much for me, im sorry."
With another bow he was running down the hallway.

Viva nodes and waits for the man to leave. He gives a slight shake of his head almost dreading what was on the other side. He pushes the doors open and steps in.

The Hot spring was pure black. What might have been water now looked like a solid mass that you could walk on, it bubbled on one side in the corner.
The smell was so terrible that the walls were beginning to cave in and the air was a sickly brown. The floor which might have once been a fine oak was now rotted and warped with all manner of maggots growing within it.
If that was not enough the place screamed of pain, guilt, misery, hate and untold agony. It would be more than e nough to drive any brave soul away.

Viva looks around slightly disgusted with the place. He first turns his attention to the floor. He wasn't sure it was strong enough to hold his weight. Besides he had to start somewhere right?

Viva drops down to a knee and gently places his hand on the infested wood. He remains till focusing on something.

"Broug!"

Deep violet tendrils of Death magic slowly snake form his palm and into the wood. He watches as the tendrils seek out the maggots killing them each on contact.

Viva pauses for a moment waiting to see if they return. He does't seem to spot anything for now, but whos to say the won't return? Either way, he decides to keep a eye open.

He keeps his hands on the wood and mentally reaches for another element.

"So'lon!"

Viva lets out a powerful blast of Life magic over the floor intending to revive the dead cells in the wood and cause them to mass produce fixing the floor.

For a brief moment the floor began to show signs of recovery but it was quickly suppressed as it sunk down to its original rotted form.
The sound of many hundreds of insects could be heard as new ones replaced those that were killed.

Viva nodded his head. He didn't think things would be that easy either. He leaps over to the floor and lands perfectly by the edge o one of the pools. He takes care not to slip on the slime covered rocks. He bends down and examines the water. It was black and appeared soild but he wasn't sure about that. Not taking any chances, he prods the surface with his halberd to see if it was completely solid or just a skin of decay over the water.

The water was thick but gave way to his prodding. As the halberd made contact a coat of rust begins to spread from the point that touched the water spreading slowly.
The heavy emotions in the room were dragging down the spirits of those near, wearing away there very souls.

Viva pulls back his halbered and looks at the rust. He give the weapon a shake and the rust falls right off. Whatever is causing this must be powerful to be able to acutally show some signs of wear on unblemished blade.

He paushes for a moment then shakes his head. The place was bad, and might cause even the most hopeful people to fall into a depression, but Viva wasn't bothered. It was nothing compared to having to kill your best friend who was possessed because of you, or having one close to your heart be controlled by a evil that was sealed away for thousands of years, or being a prison in your own body as you watch yourself destory all that you hold dear, knowing that if you didn't, alot more people would die. No he had seen enough in his life already to be effected by this place. For him, it was just another day.

Viva steps away and slings his halberd across his back. He decides to contuine expiermenting. He closes his eyes and feels down in the ground. suddenly pillars of water erupt form down deep below. He watches them o see if they would come curropt too. He wasn't going to try to treat the place untill he knew enough about what was going on.

The water was of a high purity, not just physicaly but on a spiritual level. Able to purify the most weary of traveler and cleanse wounds of the mind and soul. But before the water could near the surface an unseen force repelled it making it settle down below as the coruption swallowed up any sign of its former glory.
Images began to play through the minds of those nearby. Images of every atrocity they have ever commited, every moment of grief and a sense of failure.

Viva watches as the water is force underground, but he got the answer he was seeking. Now he looks up to the sky.

"Aquas, Airies!"

The clouds overhead darken quickly. Soon a downpour of rain starts to fall onto the hot springs.

Viva watches carefully so see where the corruption begins.

The air thickens into a purple hue as the rain becomes a deadly miasma before touching the ground. After a few moments te clouds drift away as if pushed and even the sun seems to lose its color from within the Bathhouse

Viva nods expectantly. Now he had a good idea of the area of effect.

He draws on the remaining powers of a Dragon Knight and erects a barrier designed to counter and slow down the corruption within the building.

Now that he didn't have to worry about the corruption spreading to far now, he begins to search around for the cause. He reaches into his pocket and takes out a small pad like device. He taps the screen. The device starts to hum lightly as it starts to scan for the source of all of this.

The device would be able to reveal little. The corruption of the area was very strong and with the field of containment the entire area was radiating negativity and decay even stronger than when he first arrived.

Viva takes in the changes. He starts to wonder if it fed off of energy. Curiouly he raises a hand. A small beam of light lances form his hand and impacts the blacked water,
