rammstein rocker I am atheist and proud of it and personally I don't think any religion is correct because basically no religion can disprove any other gods without having the exact same sentence used again to disprove theres. I am in no way saying being religious is a bad thing or that you should not have a higher power to believe in I just don't think that there is some higher power who will smite you if you piss him/her/it off so you dont belive what comes around goes around basically

Stiletta Well, essentially what Christians do not realize is it is a Pagan based religion. If you are interested in reading books I'd advise the DaVinci Code for a more well defined reasoning than what I have. The only reason why I can truly say this is because I was raised Christian then out of anger and rage, etc. I became Pagan. If you would like to discuss with me why I did so, or whatever reason, you may pm me with the title "Why Pagan". the DaVinci code is a bunch of cherry facts not the whole cherry tree

I don't support any of the religion. Wicca sounds like a bunch of hobwash, and I've been assaulted by so many Christians (just because I don't really have a religion) that I tend to tune my ears out whenever one usually comes my way. Yeah, I've had so many people try and convert me, it's become really bothersome. Nevertheless, if someone chooses to be Christian or if someone wants to do wicca, it's their choice. Just as long as people don't try to convert me, I'm perfectly fine. What I do believe in is caring for your ancestors (dead or alive). Hence whenever possible, I will visit my grandparents' grave up in the mountains and do a bit of clean up and set the table with "spirit food." I guess my attachment comes from the fact that I've never really had grandparents before. rammstein rocker ...basically no religion can disprove any other gods without having the exact same sentence used again to disprove theres... Not all religions worship gods. Take a look at Buddhism. They worship a man whom they believed moved on to nirvana because of his abstinence of luxury goods.

I'm Roman Catholic. I do my best to follow the bible, so i will say here what i can to help you. I do not shun the Wiccan religion, because i belive in pro-choice Although i personal, do not belive in that religion I think that when we all pass of into the afterlife, we will figure out what religion is true, if there is one. As for now, i belive that the Roman Catholic religion is true, but i like that if someone has another religion then they are able to use it because that religion could be right, i just don't belive so.
Make sense?

It falls in the same area as "Treat others how you would want to be treated" and "You get what you give".
Karma doesn't apply to higher powers, apparently, otherwise, people bashing "God" would have all been struck by lightning bolts by now.

I'm technically Catholic, and I have no problem with the religion. But when you don't believe in something and your being forced into it, it makes you deny it. I've secretly converted to Wicca, but it's hard because my mom is hardcore Roman Catholic and if I even bring up the subject of another religion, she starts bashing it and saying how it's wrong.
I used to go to the library and look at all the different religions until I found the one I liked best, which happened to be Wicca. And here's something many people either don't know or don't acknowledge: Christianity developed from Paganism. I don't know what Paganism started out as, but I'd love to know.
I don't think anyone should be discriminated upon based on religion; one of my best friends decided that he wanted to worship Satan, then decided he wanted to be Athiest, and now here we are.
Basically, I'm fine with all religions, but if you force yours down my throat, I'll sure as hell force it right back out. Don't say anything about another religion unless you've studied it. My friend's dad didn't approve of Wicca ecause he knew nothing about it, and she made him look it up. Now he's perfectly fine with it.
(I just wrote a rough essay there, didn't I? sweatdrop )

Um, I'm a christian but I don't believe in God. I like the Wicca religion because its interesting and one religion isn't better than the other. They may not even be true for Christ's sakes! I love how I'm Christian but I don't believe in "God" or care all that much about those around me. lol. I'm so shallow.
