She lay down on the grass,
Looking up at the sky,
thinking, it’s all she can do.
If she disappeared she would not be missed.
She will be gone just like everyone else.
Getting up from the grass,
she walks on the sand,
looking outward towards the sea.
She walks into the water high up above her knees.

I was in the kitchen, peeling the top layer of an onion, which, like cutting it, is hard without getting red irritated eyes. I walked out of the kitchen, to open the air conditioner in the living room, and to wash my hands and face, when I saw this ginormous cockroach on the living room floor [okay, I over exaggerated, it's normal sized]. Well obviously like any girl, I screamed [not one of those long winded screams, just a quick screechy one]. I am normally not afraid of bugs [I actually find bugs fascinating], but when they are in my house or on me I freak out like anyone would. I am the kind of person who lets bugs out of the house without harming them. But this time, I panicked. I walked over to the entrance and took the first pair of shoes I saw. I put them on and I slowly creeped up after the bug. I hesitated a bit but then I stepped on it. I stared at it for a little while and realized that I can leave the room to finish the salad.
When I came back into the living room, I looked over at the bug. I saw that it was still moving, crawling for it's life. I walk over there with a bit more confidence, but I couldn't squish it again. I look at it for another ten minutes and I realize that I can't squish it again. I was still shivering, because of the shock I was in to see a bug in the house, but I couldn't squish it again.... The poor cockroach... When my mom came home she sprayed it with some bug-poison stuff, which killed it, but I still feel bad for squishing the bug...
Well that's my bug story.... I was thinking of starting a thread about it, but I decided to just post it in here rather than start another bug discussion.

The waves softly hit her legs.
She looks at the sunset and its yellow-red hues
she walks into the sea, farther and farther,
opening her arms towards the wave.
The water is high up to her hips.
The wave comes towards her.
She looks at the wave with her arms stretched out;
the water starts to rage, the wave hits her body hard.
Then the water calms down. The water recedes,
then darkness falls, and all goes dark.
The sun goes down and the day is done.
