Of course. Me and my friends sang 'If you Were Gay' at the TOP of our voices to one friend while walking down the street to an anime convention. Passerbys and people in cars gave us the strangest looks.

Whenever I tell someone I'm a day patient at a psychiatric unit they act really weird & awkward around me, I'm not crazy ffs stare
Anyone who thinks its fun or cool to act "crazy" or "random", it's not, it's completely ******** retarded.

I dance. All the time. Even when there is no music. Sometimes I`ll make my own, but that`s just because I get bored easily. People always think I`m on crack or something. . .
I also like to pretend I`m a ninja. I`ll sneak up on people that I barely know then yell their names as I pounce on their backs. I almost got punched in the stomach by Guy though. :/ My friend Chris pulled my ninja routine on me one day and launched himself on me. I ended up carrying him around for about twenty minutes. Granted his feet were pretty much dragging on the floor because he`s a foot and a half taller than I.
My friends are kinda the same way. All the male ones do the "party-boy" to random people. Chris, the same guy I carried, actually managed to get his shirt off before the chick ran away. . .

my friend also came up with stories about how the school bell is actually a little man they keep in the ceiling, which they bring down and squeeze every time they need the bell to ring.
and that my mind was a conveyor belt
and he walked up to my sister and told her she looked like an airplane

This thread really makes me lose whatever hope I had beforehand in the human race.
Randomness
If you are planning on doing something random, then that takes all the spontaneity out of it, therefore the action is predetermined, and not random. Most likely, whatever you do in a vein attempt to be humourous, (since you fail so miserably at every other branch of humour through your inability to grasp the concept and your conspicuous lack of wit), will be completely dependant on it's independance to the current situation, invoking a wtf-esque feeling of surprise in the people around you. This might feel funny to you, or your friends who share the same inept sense of humour, because people around you are now either annoyed, irritated or confused, but sadly, if you do it once too often, expect to get the s**t beaten out of you, which will undoubtedly be infinitely more funny than you shouting "pancakes" in the middle of a film at the cinema. Seriously, randomness' grandeur of tedium has now indefinitely reached a point at which the pythons' themselves must be sick of. Randomness is a predictable, moronic, boring and unbelievably sad attempt to try and prove to other people that you are completely "crazy". Which brings me to my next point.
Craziness
It's a pretty sad world where you can no longer make jokes about religion since it is politically incorrect, but you can for some reason make fun of the mentally ill by mimicking the obscene steriotypes of them. It's strange how "crazy" is often used in place of the word stupid when referring to something apparently humourous. Riding your bike into a parked car does not make you "way nutz", it makes you a complete moron.
Having a mental illness is no more fun than it is having cancer, you wouldn't shave all your hair off and say "lul i've got cancer", so don't run into walls screaming "I'm craazy".
This inane sense of humour is patheticly dull, predictable, offensive and old. Just let it die and look for some decent comedians to steal jokes from, like Ricky Gervais, Billy Connolly and Dylan Moran.

Because it's unbelievably ******** annoying and incredibly offensive to myself and several friends.
If you haven't heard of those people because you're not british then fine, although you should definitely look into their stuff, if you are british then you've been living under a rock. Ricky Gervais-wrote and starred in the office and extras, absolutely awesome award winning stand up, Billy Connoly voted best stand up in the world, Dylan Moran, starred in shaun of the dead, fabulous stand up, wrote black books, one of the best sitcoms ever, and has a ******** HOT irish accent and a sexy apathetic depressive atmosphere.
My post wasn't an attack on individuals with quirks, rather an attack on those who conciously decide to be different, that does not make you different, that just means that you are conforming to a mentality and belief that acting crazy or different is cool.
If someone has individual traits that are not forced then there is nothing wrong with that, what I have a problem with is this "random" and "crazy" branch of humour and people who conciously decide that they're going to act different in order to gain popularity.

um... I'm sorry?
I am not British; nor have I ever heard of those people or watched stand up comedy.
I am one with odd quirks; if those got attention to me, I wouldn't be like I am today. I don't like having attention drawn on myself.
besides; most of what I've seen about what you speak of that you disapprove of I wince at.
if something I did made you angry, I apologize.

It's not you, I don't disagree with the topic whatsoever, and your post didn't have anything that particularly upset me. Bar the random bit, but that's mostly needless pedantacisim. Part of my condition includes kind of extreme mood swings and i've been in the complete c**t one for the last few days, so I'm basically really irritable and I get pissed off majorly at really small things.
Try searching them on youtube, they're really really amazing, and if you've never watched stand up you're reeeally missing out.
It's not you that made me angry specifically, nor the thread, but what started it was, Ulquiorra Shiffer, saying "IRL, I'm totally insane.", Naive_Eyes with "I say really random things sometimes...." Vintaged "I'm just a Jim Carrey wannabe.", just seeing his name makes my eyes bleed xd ....
then it kind of got worse as I looked through the pages, with stuff like "in real life: scream and slam into walls (i'm not kidding) "i spy on ppl n hide arounld the corner at night.when they come arounld the coner i jump out in scare them.they ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" "I scared ppl off sometimes by just acting crazy out ofnowhere!!" and "i'm way nutz."
Really, if anyone should be sorry, it should be me. Sorry to everyone who isn't one of those infuriatingly posish "random" people. ._.

well, you can be safe to know I"m no posish random person; I am a random one. seriously.
