Rick reached up and unlocked the cage Lydia is in, "Come with me. You're going to help in my plan to catch KIERAN," He said and stood again.

Lydia held very still for a moment as a battle raged within her. Then she stood and walked out of her cage. Her crystallis wanted to do something to stop Rick. He did not want this KIERAN to be captured, but he wouldn't tell Lydia his reasons behind it.
She looked to Rick and waited to be instructed farther.

"Good girl. Now, follow me," Rick said and started walking.

Lydia walked almost silently behind Rick. She stole glances of the other experiments. Almost all of them had been possessed. She wondered, not for the first time, why Rick had decided to let her live, and not take her over as well.

Rick knew exactly why he won't take Lydia over. He needed her unchanged by his venom.
"So tell me..." Rick said as he walked along, "Where's KIERAN?" He asked.

"I don't know," Lydia replied, confused to why he asked her that. She had only seen KIERAN once and very briefly. How was she supposed to know where he was?

Rick just smiled, "Oh you'll tell me when I'm through with you," He said simply.
He knew Lydia had Kir's DNA in her body, so she should be able to pinpoint where Kir had gone. The hunters assigned to get him were about to until he blasted away again. Rick knew he needed Lily under his control just as much as he needed Kir. He planned on infesting Lily to get Kir.
"From now onward, you will be accompanying me. I got permission from the head scientist for you to be excused from your experiment schedule," Rick said. Of course, the head scientist is under his control. He would let that one keep playing his role to remove any kinds of suspicions from him, "However, when you are excused, you are to go back to your cage until you are needed again," He added.

Lydia just nodded. SHe didn't like not having any idea of what was happeneing, but that was the way it had been for as long as she could remember. She would just do as she was told and hope that nothing too bad would happen.

Leonard was suddenly behind both of them. he was silent though, even as he approached, so it seemed he had simply appeared behind them out of thin air. "Rick, sir, I felt i should inform you, since i cant seem to find the head of this facility, that the modifications to the security are complete. once you have HIM back in the facility, he wont be getting out."

Rick smiled. Things were falling into place, "Good work as always Leonard," He said, "I need to round up a few more hunters to try and capture him, do you think you could check with security if any hunters returned?" He asked Leonard.
