"No. Synthetic flesh can't catch or spread disease either," Azm answered. "It doesn't even have bodily fluids and it doesn't need to be cooled."

"...But what if--"

"ENOUGH." Lucy snapped. "Can we PLEASE discuss something else besides diseases and sex."

Azm nodded when Lucy spoke up. He would welcome a change in subject. "Are we there yet?" he asked.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"Do I need to threaten to turn this car around?" Ben asked jokingly.  

[cptflint]

A few seconds of silence later. "how about now?"  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"Child, I will turn it around!" Ben threatened with a smirk. "I will turn this thing around, and go back to the enemy so we can all die!"

"I can still turn my limbs on for a good thirty minutes before they start melting," he replied without fear.

"Then I'll just throw your a** out the door so you can walk to the city in thirty minute spans. How's that sound?"  

[cptflint]

"You can try," Azm replied.

"Great. Marie can throw your a** out since she's got the mechanical arms at the next stop."  

[cptflint]

Azm looked over at Marie.
She just shook her head.

"So..." Ben trailed off.

"Anyone know any good car games?"  

[cptflint]

"No..." Azm replied. "No fun allowed," he added jokingly.
"I think I'm actually going to try to sleep while I still have the chance," Marie said as she tried to get comfy.

By the next afternoon, the small group had arrived to a human-military settlement. Civilians and Soldiers alike occupied the settlement, every one armed to the teeth to fight off any hostile androids looking to extended the borders and their control of the land.

People were friendly enough to the SUV as it rolled. Though wary of the sudden visitors, aid was quickly offered to the group so they could continue on their way.

"We past the dead line..." Niles sighed, leaning against the SUV as he glared down at the ground.
"Kim's twenty four hours ran up."

"The does not mean we're not going to keep looking. We will either find her alive or dead and either way we will make her captives pay," Azm replied as Marie pulled him out of the SUV. "I'm not going back to her father without something."
Among those moving to help the group was an armed woman with a notepad. "What's the damage?" she asked looking at the android they were carrying.
