Chomp chomp chomp. Mmur might have continued chewing on the tasty larvae indefinitely, but instead he let out a whimper as something sharp poked at his puppy mouthparts. He hopped to his feet, pawing at his face until a glob of chewed larvae and bee dropped to the floor.

He felt something rise in his chest, a manly growl that slid from his lips without his knowledge. Mmur spread his stubby legs and crouched closer to the ground. He was ready to kick some bee a**.

He was ready to kick some bee a**, at least until one of them zipped over and stung him. Then it was back to sitting and whimpering. So much for badassery.

No. He couldn't let a little sting get him down. With another high-pitched growl, Mmur bounced forward, grabbing hive between his teeth and shaking it like a polaroid picture. When he finally stopped, he had at least six new stings, but he felt so incredibly badass that it didn't even matter.

Mmur ripped and tore, whuffling out a doggy laugh as he managed to liberate several large chunks from the hive. He yapped happily as he trotted away, pausing to scratch wildly at his stings.

He barely winced as he was stung again, but Mmur did feel a bit of his awesomeness fade away. noooooo

Such wonderful words of encouragement but Maple chose not to really respond to them, instead taking solace in the floor as others scampered around her. She moved a little, mostly to get out a little more out of the way. Because with the vigor in everyone's step, the chances of getting trampled were a lot higher.
Still, she appreciated the words from Andrew.
- - - - - - - - - - - The sensation was finally started to clear, and the odd faces she was making began die down into simple lip smacking and just in time to give Molan a nice puppy-like before he wandered off towards Mia. Oh how she wanted to watch the interaction but her attention was pulled away when she felt a paw upon her.
Her bright blue eyes followed the stubby little paw and she was surprised to find Andrew attached to it. Her eyes widened as did her smile, even though so my apprehension from what he was still wanted to take over. But he was concerned and near her (but he was also near her). For a moment she was stuck in conundrum but then his question also registered. Aside from knowing she was covered in honey and a few bees (one was still twitching by her cheek) but she hadn't thought she, well, looked .. bad as much as the ill feeling churned in her stomach still.
"Don't usually eat so much," she explained, still almost transfixed on the paw that was on her.

Sophie tilted her head at the instructor, her butt wagging in excitement. They got to destroy things. When they were given the green light, Sophie shot forward with a ferocious bark and chewed at the hive, happy to receive a mouthful of delicious, sweet honey.
She was a little upset the bees were so placid, however. Where was the fun in that?

She returned the honey and ran back in, barking loud enough that the bees were knocked out of their calmed stupor momentarily and began stinging her.
Sophie didn't care. She was a Jacking badass and swatted and chewed the bees to death so that she could receive her bounty.

Sophie ran towards the hives again, but this time a wall of bees shot up and blocked her path. Hard as she tried, she simply could not push through. She retreated, trying to find another entry point.

Sophie charged at the hive again, this time barging through any bees that were in her way. She got stung multiple times and felt a tiny sting in her side. It might have been pain or she might just be hungry. It was a mystery.

Sophie charged in one last time; feeling incredibly bad a**. Who did these bees think they were up against? She was fierce as hell, did they think they could honestly stop her? Stings came and she gave zero Jacks, continuing on to the honey bounty.
Yeah, she was kind of a big deal.

Vanya gave no hesitation; she was off to the beehives in a flash, barking and growling away. Those bees would bow before her; she would be their new queen and all would fear her and respect her.
She jumped at a hive and got a mouthful of honey. Delicious; no wonder the bees wanted to keep it.

Vanya ran forward once more, batting and barking at the bees. Any that came close enough to sting her were either stepped on or eaten. Victory and a glorious bounty.
Why wasn't she president of Halloween Town again?
