One last door.
Kraid stopped and turned to face the group following him. With one swift motion he pushed open the door behind him. " We've come to the end," He spoke simply, turning and heading through the newly opened gateway.
Miles looked to Yousei to make sure she was ready. After a moment he too entered the final chamber, prepared to face whatever lie ahead.  

[Stormelle]

"Lost again...Danget..." Stormelle said as she hit her head with her palm. "Stupid, stupid, stupid Me." she mumbled to herself. She wished so much right now that she could speak with anyone. Any of the many people she'd left behind to find Pip. Although her greatest wish was to find Pip, Stormelle could remember the first time she felt Pip’s telepathy sweep over her mind. It had been an odd sensation but by now she was used to it.
Sighing and pushing the thoughts from her mind Stormelle pulled her pack tight against her body as she heard something or someone coming. Thinking quickly the young shifter grabbed her necklace, it was that of a golden horn, and pressed it to her forehead. Light consumed her body as she became a large black dog, with a golden star over each eye. Picking up her pack, which had fallen from her back in the transformation, with her mouth she sniffed the air and peered around the pillar she’d been behind.
Stormelle would have let out a gasp had she let her human emotions loose but quickly she moved behind the pillar again. A shadowed and others where coming. What where these people doing with a shadowed she wondered as she moved swiftly and silently to a better hiding place.

Witium stepped into the room and looked around for a enemy. He wasn't sure of the importance of the room and had been fustrated by the lack of things he was allowed to slaughter. While gritting his teeth he spoke with hatred, "When we get our revenge Kriad, where is our enemy?" Quickly he unshealthed his blades and stepped towards the middle of the room ready to slaughter his foes. Each eye glowed a brilliant purple and looked wildly to see if Camthalions body was around too.

There, on the ground, lay the decaying body of Camthalion, his neck longer due to the struggle of breathing while being hanged. His limp body was completely naked. No tomes, no weapons, nothing. Just a naked body and a broken neck.

The brother-leader looked over the room from a secret window three floors above, his face hidden in shadow. He smirked menacingly, waiting for the rest to enter.

Witium dropped his swords slowly. He gritted his teeth as he looked down at Camthalions broken body. With clenched shut tearing eyes he knelt down and hugged his lifeless body. Each hand gripped onto his friends body tightly. With jerk he yelled in misery and sadness up at the ceiling. His eyes were now filled with tears as he buried his face in Camthalion's shoulder as he cried in sadness. Now with gritted teeth he shealthed his swords and heaved his friends body over his shoulder, "Come on old friend we're going back home." He looked back to the group with tears still streaming down his pale cheeks. With a few steps he began to walk back to them with Camthalion's body in hand.

As Miles pulled Yousei through the final door, she could not have prepared herself for what she was about to see. There was Camthalion, mangled and naked on the floor before them. Her mouth fell open, as she gasped in shock. She was frozen in place, not because of her immense fatigue, but because of her abhorrence. She did not blink, nor breathe. She instead gazed at the terrible sight, partly unable to believe it, though she knew it to be real..

Karasu stepped through the door beside Yousei. As she noticed a silhouette on the ground before her, she stopped. Immediately, she recognized the body to be Camthalion's. And immediately, her pupils dilated, and her mouth began to foam. Her jaw dropped and fangs were exposed. Something in her mind snapped. It was the final wire that kept her sane, and it had broken. This was it: her thirst for blood could wait no longer to be sated. She had to kill those responsible. And she had to do it now...

The Brother-Leader laughed as everyone three floors down stared at the mangled body that was the deceased Camthalion. Though he did not know of their intentions as to why they wanted to get Camthalion back so badly, he knew that their loss of this old, fragile elf caused them much pain, and sadness. To him, it was like a movie one would watch where the main character dies and the other just have to deal with that loss. He moved his gaze over to the spirit, Kraid, who didn't seem to care in his companions, in the leader's eyes.

Miles ignored the body, the others were paying enough attention for all of them. He glanced around the room, searching for another door. "This is it?" He demanded, glaring to Kraid. "There's nothing here" He spat, letting go of Yousei's hand.
Kraid threw his hand up towards the door, slamming and sealing it off. He drew his weapon and spun it once in his hand, eyeing each member of the party. He chose a target and quickly lunged towards Witium swinging his weapon down.

Witium kept on stepping forward to the door they came in. A peircing pain shot up in his shoulder as he noticed Kraid's sythe sink deep in his shoulder. He looked up at him with dread filled eyes and put a hand on the top of the blade. While gritting his teeth some the elf tried to pull the blade out from his shoulder, "...shadowed...you'll always be a annoyance in my eyes." He gently let go of camthalion's body and drew his right sword, "I can't harm you but, i can keep you from getting another scratch on me." Tears still dripped from his eyes, he didn't feel like fighting anymore, he simply wanted to bury Camthalion at this point. Pain seared through his shoulder as it dripped profusly with blood, although in his face it seemed he didn't notice it.

"Good thing I won't always be a shadowed," Kraid muttered to himself, drawing his blade from Witiums body and sliding it along his robe. He held up the clean blade and stared blankly at Witium. After a moment he scanned the room, taking check of who was around.
Miles stared angrily as Kraid betrayed them yet again. He rushed at what he hesitated to call his brother.
Kraid held his palm to face Miles, launching a small dart into his thigh and taking him down instantly.

Yousei looked back as the doors were shut.. by Kraid... Her expression was still laden with horror, as she slowly stepped back. Suddenly, Witium had been attacked.. Her hands trembled, as she reached for her blade. Miles was on the floor. She had to do something.. All of a sudden, Karasu leapt forth and beat her wings fiercely. She swooped down and unleashed a breath of flames unlike any she had ever breathed before. It was wilder and much hotter than her usual flame.. Yousei watched in shock as her life-long friend ruthlessly attacked the Shadowed, with a strength and animosity that she had never before witnessed.

Kraid spun on a heel, swinging his weapon at the charging dragon. He stood calm after the attack, smoking weapon in his hand. The stench of iron and burning varnish lingered in the air about him. Sorrow burned in the back of his skull as he prepared to strike down another friend.  

[Stormelle]

Stormelle gulped in horror as the Shadowed attacked. Her blue-green eyes watering as tears came to her eyes, she wasn’t a fighter, she was a healer. Thinking quickly she dropped her pack and being once more consumed in light she was in her human form. Grabbing her pack and slinging it over her shoulder hastily she ran toward the wounded elf, “I can help.” She said as she put her hands together and closed her eyes.
Her hands began to glow, a faint blue emanating from them. Opening her eyes she looked at the elf, “Do you trust me?” she said as she held her glowing hands only inches away from his wounded shoulder. She only hoped he’d let her heal him, the perhaps she might be able to get the will to fight, perhaps in one of her more fierce forms.

Karasu beat her wings furiously as she effortlessly avoided his attacks. Unfortunately, due to her temporary insanity and her impatient longing for a kill, she failed to time her next attack correctly and was immediately struck down. She then fell to the cold, stone floor and looked up at Kraid. The fire in her eyes still burned brightly, as if she had hardly noticed that she'd been defeated. Soon, though, the taste of her own blood entered her mouth and she sputtered and hacked, until finally succumbing to her wounds.

More tears streamed down from Yousei's face, as she saw her dragon fall. Immediately, she ran to her side. Her tears fell on the blood-soaked scales of her friend. She gripped her weapon tightly and wrung the chain in her hands, as she looked questioningly to Kraid. Gritting her teeth, she searched her mind for a prayer that she could utter to end the violence.. but her mind was blank. She only stared at their deceiver, and awaited his scythe.

Kraid looked to Yousei and swung his blade at both of them. "Nothing personal," He spoke quietly. "But I rather want to have my body back. If it means losing yours, so be it"
