Rahvine snorted. "Unlike you I'm simply trying to be polite. I guess you don't practice common courtesy very often."

"I just don't usually get blown up and cuffed, thank you very much," he spat back.

"Well I wasn't the one that 'blew you up' and the cuffing is probably just as much for your own good as it is ours." said Rahvine as she got up to inspect the soldier for injuries. "...Unless you're in a hurry to have some villager get twitchy over having you around and finish you off."

He growled in his throat,"I bet you'd love that wouldn't you?"

Rahvine shook her head, sitting back down again after deciding the soldier didn't have any immediately life threatening injuries. "Actually no. I prefer not to kill people unless it's necessary."

"Uh huh," replied the soldier, still unconvinced. He wasn't going to be an easy egg to crack.

Rahvine snorted softly, a slight smile touching her lips for a moment. "Well,... I was going to ask what you know about Lavianan, the woman that was collaborating with your boss, and anyone that might be behind her but... I get the feeling you're probably not going to tell me, even if you did know anything."

"that's probably the most believable thing you've said all day," he retorted.

"Actually everything I've said is belivable... You just don't realize it." said Rahvine as she shrugged. ...He's definitely not open to talking... but I don't really know if he even knows anything. ...I can try to find out by drinking his blood but,... I try to avoid taking people's blood by force if at all possible... thought Rahvine rubbing absently at her tattoo.

He still didn't look at her, but a closer look at his face shown a long scar down his face. It was old and pale, as his skin. He was probably in his thirties but the war had aged him further. He grunted and made sure not to make eye contact, suddenly a little trinket fell from his shirt on the floor with a thud,"Dammit," he swore.

What was that?... Rahvine looked up at the sound of the trinket's thud. She got up and gently picked it up off the floor. "...It's okay... I don't think it got broken." murmured Rahvine looking at the trinket for a moment before holding it out to the man.

((lol Nope, Moriko is just motherly.))
Levin was delighted to see plates full of colorful food in front of them. The woman smiled at them both, "Vegetables are good for your diet. The chicken is a minor ingredient in this meal. Enjoy!"
Harou began digging into his food rather hurriedly like before, of which his mother and Levin responded at the same time, "Don't eat your food too quick, or you'll get sick."
They looked at each other, and Moriko laughed. "Wow, you sure are a gentleman with courtesy."
Levin scratched the back of his head smirking slightly, "Well, cooking and enjoying food the right way are very important to me."
Harou looked at them both and then focused on Levin and giggled, "Wow, Levin. You're like everyone's second mother."
Levin's eyes went wide and Moriko shook her head, "That's no way to treat someone who has took you into their home."
Harou sighed, "Yes mother..." He began to eat his food again slowly this time. His mother sat down with a plate and began to eat as well.
Levin looked at the contents of his meal, and after one bite, he was astounded by how rich in taste the meal was. "Wow. This is probably the best thing I have ever tasted. Maybe we can exchange recipes."
Moriko finished chewing her food and nodded, "Anytime. I'm afraid that I will have to retire for the rest of the day. I haven't had a... comfortable sleep in a long time."
Levin nodded, "R-right... Maybe I can give you a tour of the house afterwards."
"I'd be delighted." They went on to eat the food that was prepared by Moriko.
((Moriko's name means 'child of the forest'. I saw it appropriate to call her that because she called Harou that, and it's generally a name for female names. THE MORE YOU KNOW))

He couldn't grab it but clamped on it with his teeth and put it in his lap,"Keep your hands off it!" he snapped angerly.

"Okay. Okay. Calm down. I didn't mean any harm." said Rahvine holding her hands up. ...I'm definitely not getting very far with this guy though... Maybe I should go see if someone else would have better luck... maybe Levin or someone...

He sneered and looked away, staring down at the trinket. He wished his hands were free so he could look at what was inside.
