He went towards Gwen's house again, and brought back the life-like dummy with wizard clothing on. "This is sort of like an automaton, except it uses magic. This will actually help you gain magic resistance, but only if you think you can handle it." He leaned against the dummy awaiting a response.

Some how I have a feeling he'll go for it, good idea or not. Rahvine held up her hands as she moved back out of the 'training area', still staying close enough so she could watch. "I'm staying out of this one."

Nemus raised an eyebrow,"Okay Levvy, I'll bite," he grinned and drew his sword. He focused and thrusted at the dummy.

Rahvine snorted, hiding a slight smile behind her hand. That's even worse than the nickname Blue kept trying to stick on me...

((FYI, the automaton is in the clothes Levin used to wear when he was a puppet. AND NOW YOU KNOOOOOW))
The werewolf shrugged, "It's alright, there's not much WE have to do." Levin furrowed his brow. Levvy? "Whoa, easy there! I haven't activated it yet. Watch this." Levin slammed his hand on the automaton's back, making it jump into action and lighting it up. "Okay, now he's all yours." The automaton jumped backward and spun around, having its hands at the ready.
"First thing's first, direct magic spells shouldn't really have such an effect on your weapon. But, magic CAN be used to disarm if used right. You may not be able to use magic, but that doesn't mean you can't take preventive measures. Try to block a spell, but the first time you do, you'll most likely end up being knocked back pretty badly. Never hurts to try." Levin nodded at the automaton, and it held up a hand up at Nemus. "Alright, now, block as if you are blocking a weapon from striking you." The automaton shot a ball of fire towards Nemus.

Nemus nodded and gritted his teeth as the magic hit. He grunted loudly and slid waaaaay back, but he didn't fall! "Hah!"

"Mmm,..." murmured Rahvine nodding slightly. That wasn't horrible,... He survived anyway...

The automaton unleashed another ball of fire, towards Nemus' feet. Levin's ears perked, "Oh, I forgot to mention that dodging is a huge part of preventing a spell from hitting you. Erm, watch out!"

"Yeow!" Nemus jumped back and yipped like a little dog and jumped away from the fire balls.

Rahvine laughed softly to herself as she watched. Reacting like that isn't going to do very much to intimidate whoever you're fighting... But it is kind of funny to watch.

Levin shook his head, "You look ridiculous. Keep your composure. And this dummy doesn't just use one element, be on your guard!"
The automaton burst from its hand lightning, heading towards Nemus.

Xircas made his way through the town, and made his way to the training camp. As he made his way there he could see Levin training Nemus. "Heh those two seem to be getting along just fine" said Xircas as he stood beside Rahvine.

"I'm not sure it could be considered 'getting along' when your training dummy is hurling lightning at the other guy. But yeah." said Rahvine glancing over at Xircas for a moment, before turning back to watch Nemus.
"Nemus, don't forget you have to fight back too. Otherwise they'll just keep at you till you wear out." called Rahvine. Then they kill you...

Levin scratched a wolf ear, "Yeah, Rahvine's right. And another thing, if spells come in another form, like a spray of fire for instance, there's no way for you to block but dodging, or using the advantages of your surroundings. Heightened reflexes are very important when going up against a foe who uses magic."
The dummy planted its hands to the ground, creating towers of rock heading toward Nemus.
