It just looks neat because it's lines and lines of vocabulary.. quite hard to be too messy. A more normal page in my notebook looks.. very very different. xD

@'elfy - Once my teacher tried to make me read out an answer I wrote in the exam.. I just couldn't do it.. my friend had to read it for me XD

Indeed you should. I need to get my Chinese up to scratch too, even though I can speak it fluently. There's some terrific contemporary Chinese writers around. But I think the May 4th writers are the best. There's Lu Xun, who wrote Diary of a Madman, Ding Ling, who wrote a Woman and a Man, and Bai Jin, who wrote a novel called Jia(Family). I betcha that your parents and grandparents read them all when they were young.

@ minielf: yes my parent's read that. thank goodness they don;t force me to read that.

@bab: ahaha, yes. the novels for youngsters like us are all very pretty nowadays.

Dream of a Red Mansion is AMAZING!!! <3 -squee- it's so so so good.. adore it so much. I read the picture-book version when I was small.. am now about halfway through the proper one xD [never have time to read though.. -__-]
